I don't think there have been any tells of consequence, if any at all. Looks like people are just feeling each other out, throwing votes around, seeing what sticks.

What reasoning on the MPR wagon? There is none, and I'd even be willing to bet there's overeager scum on it. It would take some wagon analyzing (which I'll probably end up doing) to figure out who's most likely to be scum out of the MPR wagoners, but it looks like there's one on there.

What I mean by that is that there have just been vibes. Nothing too concrete. My Town Vote of you was mostly because you were the one to introduce the idea that if we really didn't want scum to get the smash ball, we would not Town Vote at all. But scum could very easily do that as well; it's a very good way for scum to get town cred. I simply get a town vibe from how you did it, is all.

Gollum, we have like 3 or 4 mods. I'm sure that, between them, they can get the job done. If they didn't want us to Town Vote, they would not have put that mechanic in the game.

Also Gollum, about the use of the smash ball: It's possible--and for some people, easy--to be the towniest person in the game and still be scum. Therefore, I don't think only having 2 final smashers is a good idea. Not really that it locks us in, but it may blind us. Just saying.

imo, either nacho or Mongoose is the most likely to be scum based solely off of the MPR wagon, as they didn't even give RVS reasons. Mongoose even goes so far as to Town Vote someone else WITH reasoning, but not attach any reasoning to his LV on MPR.

I would bet there is scum on the MPR wagon regardless of MPRs alignment. About a quarter of the game is on that wagon, chances are scum are on it.

Slight math fail. In pure odds, there's still a higher chance that there is no scum on the MPR wagon than that there is. I still think there certainly could be at least one, I'm just saying what pure odds state about it.

Who is it and why?

As stated, most likely would be Mongoose. Gave a reason for TV, but not for LV. Why is that, do you think?

And relying on flavor this early in the game is also a horrible idea. I've read one SSB Mafia game, and been in another. In one of them, the Mafia was the bad guys; in the other, the Mafia was actually characters that were in Melee, but got shafted for Brawl, and so disguised themselves as Brawl characters (with Tabuu as an indy, iirc). So, in other words, we CANNOT rely on flavor, at least not this early.

Guys, we should use the smash ball like an extra lynch- before we lynch someone, come to a consensus about who to vig. If the recipient of the smash ball doesn't vig that person, we'll lynch them the next day. So, we basically get two lynches. Does everyone agree?

No. Unlike Furry, I don’t think it’s enough to vote you for, but I still think it’s a bad idea.

And I disagree with having a town directed vig kill. If we trust someone enough for them to be voted town by the majority of the players in the game, then I think we should trust them with the vig kill, as far as early game goes. I think that would be a plan to implement D5, when all the obvtown people begin to clear out/lose the ability to have smash balls.

2. He's scum. We keep a scum alive, which is something town NEVER wants to do.
3. He's telling the truth. Then he gets NK'd and we lose toMorrow.

@Pikachu: In one of my previous games (Crayola Catastrophe in Coney Island), it was determined that lynching jester is not only good for the jester (obv), but also for town, and even for scum. This is the main reason I don't think jester is a good idea to have in forum mafia (at least not if play continues if he's lynched).

This setup was extremely fun. Fate and Nacho were awesome Mason partners, and Chrono was amazing as the SK, and would have gotten the win if he didn't get screwed over. The concept of the Traitor Mafia was interesting, and added a good dynamic to the game.
