When irony goes horribly wrong...

I came to you all with the idea that I'd like to do something sinister with such a tiny playerlist. You've all decided to participate in something I'd like to deem a sick little experiment. The longer this game goes on, the more you are going to discover. The more you discover, the more you're going to want to hit me.

Lets begin:

You wake up. Its cold, its dark, and you're not sure how you got here. All you know is that you have a piece of paper on you. Things seem completely irrelevant, but you know that already don't you? However, you see familiar faces around you. Ones you've seen many times before. It becomes quite clear that things are about to get fuzzy. I really just did that.

What is Clarity?
Clarity (n): free from obscurity and easy to understand; the comprehensibility of clear expression.

Lets begin with this. This game is not about clarity. It is about a lack of clarity, trickery, and deceit.
This game is about what you think you know, and what you know you know. Your actions will steam from this knowledge or lack thereof. It is in this that the game will take it's shape.

Before I get to the regular rules... lets discuss the Game-Specific Rules:

1) I can and will refuse to clarify anything in this game.

Much of this game relies on your ability to understand what's about to happen, and I'm simply not going to get in the way of that.

2) Night actions relevant to your role sent in during the night phase will resolve normally.

Again, this game is entirely about understand what information you are given. If you give me an action relevant to your role, it will occur.

Days in this game will be two weeks for the first day, and 1.5 after that. I am allotting more time for the first day due to the nature of the game. I can extend deadlines and will if I feel it is necessary.

General Rules:

1) Do not troll. This is my damn town, I can kill you.
2) Don't try to outguess me.

4) If you need to contact me about something like a post I should fix, please by all means use

5) Don't be a dick, I'm the only one allowed to do that.
6) If I make a mistake, point it out, but don't be cocky about it or I will crush you like a vitamin pill.
7) No game-related communication outside the thread.
8) Lynching for the most part is to your benefit. No lynches are not recommended but if you all make it clear that's what you want I'll consider it.

You can also lynch the mod, if that's what you REALLY want.

9)Bah! Posts are allowed.

If you exceed one short Bah! then I will remove it

10)Enjoy the game and remember: This is MY personal hell, I make the rules.

Voting:

1) Votes must be bold in this fashion:

Vote: Your Mother

2) I will not count votes if you don't unvote the person you already are voting for. I won't remind you, I'll just wait until you process your mistake.
3) In order to lynch you need a majority. Don't try to screw with my math.
4) Try not to triple post.
5) Concerning twilight, you may speak until the death post is up, when the thread is locked. The dead may bah post and nothing more, all others may jabber until I shut you up.
6) Do not exceed your Bah! post, or you lose it entirely.
7) No lynches may be voted for in this fashion:

9) After a hammer, they are dead as a doornail. Your unvote will not bring them back. Too damn bad.

Deadlines:

1) If there is no lynch by the deadline, the player with the highest vote count is killed. Deadlines are there because I want you to get shit done, and you are going to get shit done. Endgame will change this policy as its stupid to have this at that point. I clearly won't lynch someone with 2 votes if you're all off that, its mostly majority or around that.
2) Deadlines are my way of saying get your crap together.
3) Deadlines can be extended upon request, depending on the situation.
4) All deadlines are in Mountain Standard Time. I live in the freaking Rocky Mountains, so deal with it.

Activity/Prods/Replacements:

1) I will prod you twice. After this you get a small grace period while I find a replacement. If you do not return, I remove you with the person I found. Don't whine.
2) You may ask to be replaced in the way I stated to communicate with me above.
3) If you do not post for 3 days I prod you.
4) If you are V/LA please communicate to me in the way stated previously.

Special Mod Rules:

1) I love baseball, three strikes and you're out. I modkill your ass.
2) I will fry you with great pleasure if you try to screw with me.
3) I am thy lord, smiting is my specialty, if I tell you something is bothering me don't do it.
4) Did I say listen to what I say?
5) If you somehow know how to edit posts. DO NOT DO THIS.
6) If your text is too hard to read, you get a warning (not a strike).
7) Do not debate with me, I will add strikes for that.
8) Loophole usage is not acceptable and will result in one or multiple strikes. You know the general rules, if I forgot something DO NOT take advantage of it or I will slice you up into salad.
9) Posts must be readable and in English.
10) If I want to modkill you for any reason. You DIE. Thats it. I can modkill you if you annoy me so don't.
11) Ruining my game is looked down on. If you're really annoying me with it I'll kill you.
12) You may PM, IM, or Email me with anything relevant or simply to talk if you're honestly that bored.

This game was a B-Mod setup where everyone except two people were unclear on their actual role. Surprisingly the random behavior ended it all too quickly.

Roles:

Townie: Zang
Your role is based on the following:
You are a townie, it is possible that you may be the only townie. Your goal in this game is to find those who threaten the town and destroy them where they stand. Yes, where they stand.
Win Condition: You win when you have eliminated threats to you.

Townie with Serial Killer Flavor: Nobody Special
Your role is based on the following:
There are simply too many problems in this town… There are too many bad guys. You can’t trust them can you? You can’t really trust anyone. Well you can trust yourself, you do know that. Wouldn’t it be better if you could trust everyone? Unfortunately you can’t, and you really only have yourself… Maybe if you got rid of everyone else…
Win Condition: You win when those who threaten your livelihood are gone.

Townie with Survivor Flavor: Mafuyu
Your role is based on the following:
How much do you care about the town? Maybe you just care about yourself. You seem to be a pretty positive guy. You don’t really know anyone. One might assume your survival is more important than the town, I don’t know… On the other hand, what would other people think of you if you were so selfish?
Win Condition: You win when you are finally safe.

Town with Cult Flavor: Budja
Your role is based on the following:
You intend to unite this town in a holy cause for a greater good and purpose, guaranteeing salvation. All are welcome to join your cause. And those who stand in your way must be destroyed.
Win Condition: You win when those who stand in the way of the greater good are defeated or nothing can prevent the same.

Mafia: Empking
Your role is based on the following:
You are Mafia. Not hiding this from you is essential. You need to kill those who oppose you, AKA everyone who is not you.
Win Condition: You win when you are the last standing or nothing can prevent the same.
