Sneasel is #215 National Dex and thus G2 (for those not knowing the shorthand, it first appeared in gold and silver and crystal). One of my personal favorites (as it always killed my Alakazam haha), so I decided to choose it.

Note to those asking regarding knowledge of flavor:

I was a pretty serious fan of the show and played the games extensively through blue, silver, gold, crystal, ruby, sapphire, and especially emerald. I also played mystery dungeon red rescue team and explorers of time, and read a handful of the comics. Got elite four or further on all; logged nearly 250 hours of play time on emerald and counting.

As far as the game goes, is anyone questioning that sneasel is a reasonable choice?

I'm suspicious primarily of you and of Espeo right now more on a gut basis than anything, and the two eevee thing makes me think that one of them is lying scum, not sure which. I am refusing to vote until I get another vote count however. I don't see any major scumtells, aside from the possible two eevee thing. And I do think a full nameclaim now will help us, not immediately, but after N1 actions are revealed so we can see how the mod is relating actions to the role names. I do recommend that the claim be made now, for role-based reasons I will not specify. I also am a little suspicious of xite, just due to the oddness of his role with respect to flavor.

I'm getting a scumread on Espeonage mainly for his inconsistency, and I'm not getting much of a read on gandalf either way yet. Nothing he's said feels particularly pro-town or antitown yet. I'm reading him most closely other than Espeonage right now, though, mainly due to the wagon building on him.

VOTE: xite rereading his role claim way back there, I'm feeling something just a little farfetch'd about it. a bit fishy too. /bad jokes. but seriously, xite is pushing everyone way too hard right now I'd say. He's trying to make everyone else make a case, when he's not making much of one himself.

The role claim bit was a pokemon based joke (hence the bad jokes tag). The only real reason I am voting for him is that he is pressuring other people to scumhunt without doing much of any himself.

The only true scumhunting Xite has done in his last page of his ISO (20 or so posts) is his response to Switz's unfavorable representation of him that reads like little more than an OMGUS attack. Other than that, he has said little besides yelling at others to post cases and saying they are suspicious for not posting them.

I'm going to address Nicol's comment on my vote on Xite: I do not want him lynched, and I know he will not live much longer (without doc protection - I hope someone picked Chansey!) I'm using my vote on him to voice my displeasure with his refusal to scumhunt since I don't like any of the current wagons much, except perhaps gandalf, but I'm certainly not ready for the lynch yet.

I am not a doctor of any sort, and I am asking for Xite to choose one of those four players not to kill because it is beneficial to the town what i could do with the information. I prefer not to full-claim at this point.

Xite, my role allows some limited action to be taken that may benefit us if the player is alive, but will be wasted if the player is killed.

As for my "directing" of Xite, how much could it benefit a scum to know one of four players who Xite will not kill? As far as I know, a mafia doctor is not exactly a very standard role? I'm just trying to co-ordinate the likely large number of town PRs into something resembling unified action.

I am playing with knowledge of what my role is, and have not paid adequate attention to what other possible roles I might have when making suggestions. However, given MBF's claim, I have a new plan and no longer need Xite to narrow his list in making me useful.

Can someone tell me why everyone suddenly wants to lynch me? I've backed off on directing Xine, and my role might be potentially useful - you might already have a good idea what I am based on the flavor of my character (think not-too-hard about it). I'm taking a chance that a closer reading town player will pick up on my role more easily than a less closely reading scum. Think about it.

As for 2), I don't know what you mean, and as for 1, I have been trying to scumhunt, just slightly less active than some other players. My reads are not particularly strong except for on Espeonage right now.

I have actually said that I definitely do not support an Espeonage lynch today. Very beginning of D2. Also, I am of the opinion that in a game such as this, scum would have scum-useful powers and thus need to lie about the roles that they have. (e.g. They would really be roleblockers, godfathers, etc.)

I am a thief who steals a flavor related item from a player without preventing the use of their role. I stole a magikarp from Espeonage last night. Role connection: sneasel using the attack thief.

I found gandalf and Espeo the two scummiest on D1. I picked which to investigate on the basis of their claim and which I thought would be easier to investigate.

That's why I don't want to target you - there's nothing that would indicate whether a roleblocker were town or scum - but both are plausible. In contrast, I could target a claimed Doc and on confirmation assume he were town (which obviously there won't be a claimed Doc, but you get the idea)

You know what? I've been an active player, giving my beliefs on the setup and suspicions on all players constantly. I made a huge post yesterday and a huge post today. You started acting like it was time to end the day, and I posted a list of players I was willing to lynch. And I'm still on V/LA. So if you expect to see more from me, you're going to be disappointed.

It feels like you've already planned to kill me tonight no matter what I do, even though I'm doing a lot, and you've essentially given up.

This post feels like a strong overreaction to what Xite said, and it sounds like MBF is very worried about a vig NK and trying to AtE a bit to save himself. Using AtE without substative argument is a scum-move so I will VOTE: MBF
