A link to the unsourced opinion of some dude is not evidence for anything. I think the tell is worthless. I've seen a lot of townies say "X is town". Sometimes they're right. Sometimes calls like that make scum angry.
I don't think Elscouta is playing scumtell bingo here, though. I think he thought it was an "obvious" move for scum, and maintained this thesis despite there being no evidence.

Except that isn't the case at all, because the DEFAULT ROLE is a VIG CLAIM.
All the sub differs from is the fact that its first kill is SECRET.
So town getting a sub, then going "SUP GUYS I GOT THE SUB" would remove the informed factor of a kill popping out of no where.
The only DOWNSIDE is the difference between a silo and a sub:
Silos can be set defensively bullet proofing the first shot that day.
Subs don't have that option.

Elscouta repositioned his cap and scanned the deep, wide blue sea. He patted himself on the back for getting that reassignment to the South Pacific. Nothing ever showed its face down here - nothing dangerous, anyway. It felt good to be safe.

Elscouta spun around so fast his hat whipped off the back of his head. It was the South Pacific. There weren't supposed to be any bogeys. Only seagulls and the occasional computer glitch. "What? Here?"
"Yes, Captain. We've triple checked. We are attempting to make contact."
"Good, good…what the hell…?" Elscouta's smugness had dissaparated. There wasn't supposed to be anybody else down here, damnit.
"They're not responding, Captain. The blips are within firing range. What are your orders?"

Unfortunately, Elscouta never got around to issuing any orders. The highly trained pilots of the black ops squadron had already launched a trio of perfectly placed of air-to-surface missiles at Elscouta's battleship, the USS Vermont. Within minutes of the deadly explosion, the ship had disappeared almost entirely below the surface of the ocean. The following investigation found substantial evidence to suggest that the Russians were responsible for the death of the decorated NATO member. But as the public raged and Elscouta's home nation withdrew from the public sphere to mourn, the brass could only shake their heads and blame themselves. They had ordered a hit on the wrong man.

Firstly no. I don't think you have a brain. If you do it's being put to pretty pathetic use.

There are 3 scum. They know what abilities they have. They very likely know what abilities they didn't get (due to preferences), hence what abilities town will have.
They will already have a pretty good idea of what PR's town has.
Meanwhile town will still be the uninformed. And even then they can make a very accurate guess as to what you have based on your playstyle today.

You really need to stop for a minute and get a grasp on the mechanics of this game and think about all the possibilities that can occur.

What you are implying is that you used an active ability (or special ops if I have it)?
1. The doc in this game is dead.
2. You are claiming espionage on day 1 when the above is true?
3. The rest don't confirm anything.
