I didn't post it, but the first line said "Post2thread." I figured that meant it was okay.

unvote, vote: Haylen

I believe Plum. I misinterpreted the line.

Okay - we know we have I dunno, I'd guess about two more IRL days before the battery runs out almost certainly - two more votecounts, I should hope. In the next one we
ought
to be getting some indication as to whether we're on the right track with sottyrulez. Unless we're given strong indication by then or receive information or something, I'm inclined to believe the !!!!!!! player's message re: Vezok/Haylen. There
is
a possibility that the message is half-right and from the scum player - I'd put that probability at less than %20, and even in that case
most
of the information from the message is probably on the right track (the !!!!!!!! players being of different alignments and both having shadow/smoke and light abilities is probably true given Iec's post getting both at once, plus certain other things like battery power used to give the !!!!!!! players power is mildly corroborated by Mod wording of lynch scenes and Socrates). The only thing I'd worry about, really is, Vezok having lied about his power - that's clearly the risk we'd be taking believing this stuff. That being said, yesterday we did - by a hair - have the most battery juice left when we lynched, which might account for our exclamation-point guy getting to send us a vital message. Vi wouldn't (ModWIFOM, yes, but the good kind) use a mechanic where the Town was rewarded for dragging out a day, but she (he?)
would
, possibly, use a mechanic where the Town gained a slight edge over scum for lynching without undue delay. I'd guess that both guys get stuff based on battery juice - possibly like points to spend on powers to give out/use themselves - either they both get a set amount of spending money depending on how much juice is left or it's on a sliding scale where the Town-!!!!!!! gets proportionally a few more points if the Town lynches faster. I don't see the benefit in scum-!!!!!!!! spending any of his power allowance on this sort of message, but I see plenty of benefit for Town-!!!!!!!!!! to do so. Hence. Yeah.

Iec, if you're worried, Friend not having noticed that it said Vezok was lying and misread it points against him fabricating it, I should think.

Iecerint, that message was so bizarrely worded and contained so much weird info that I would have to have a wild, wild imagination to come up with it. And even if I did, what is it getting me? A mislynch out of Haylen? Come on. The fact that you're doubting me here is ehhhhh.

The problem is, we don't have a source of who sent what smoke and what light. Also, I don't see any method of "clearing" players. I know you said you don't believe it, but someone might take it and run with it.

There's also no guarantee, that if one is town-aligned and one is scum-aligned, that the town-aligned mystery player contacted Friend. It seems unlikely that the scum-aligned player would contact Friend with all of this info, but it's still a possibility.

Otherwise, that's a decent post.

I know this is a weird idea, but we could lynch friend to see what his motives are
if he's town, ... well no, perhaps he was influenced by something evil.

Am I the only person who feels like Friend should have possibly kept that to himself?
It feels like he is soft claiming a power role through that. At the least, being able to communicate is key.

Friend, if town, is going to die tonight if we don't have a protective role
He really left us only two options to get proper information in my mind

option 1) lynch him to see if he's full of shit
option 2) let him pick a lynch for us sort of (the sort of being if his candidate is thought to be sucky by the town)

Lol, I think the person who sent that message may be someone that knows me well enough to call me 'Haylie'. That's what I read Vezlie as. The only way I could be scum that I can think of is if I was a Godfather or if there was a mafia-framer who could target me and make me look scum. That's from a cops prospective. From a Trackers perspective...I guess it could be that Vezok targetted a town player and that Socrates knew what ability he had been given.

Yes, Vezok did use an ability on Night Two, he did not use the abilities follow up on Night Three. I understand that I am currently at serious risk of being lynched because of the dude who I replaced's actions, so this is my claim.

I am one of the Righteous, this means that I basically started out as an ordinary Vanilla Townie obviously this is also a town role. The action that Vezok received was called Grave Digger (it was from post 887). Having never heard of this ability before, I will assume that it is one of Vi's inventions. Basically, what it does is it allows the owner of it to have the potential to receive a one shot ability. The way to obtain this one shot ability is to predict who is going to die during the night, if the person with this ability is correct and the person who died is a power-role then the person with the ability with gain a one shot ability of that power role. For example, Vezok guessed that Socrates was going to die - his breadcrumbing was very obvious especially after saying Vezok was confirmed town to him. I am also going to assume that Vezok believed Socrates to have some sort of investigative role, either way, even though Socrate's died, his ability still lives on in the form of a one shot tracking ability. As I previously said, Vezok for some reason unknown to mankind (maybe he lost interest by Night Three) did not use his one shot track, so now I have control over it.

Lynch me if you like but tonight I can prove that I have a one shot track and thus also confirming that I have the Grave Digger ability.

Now, if you excuse me, I am going to do some reading to decide who I want to use this track on.
Seriously. Read your role PM before playing.
I am sorry if you have to prod me, I have absolutely no concept of time.

My prefered pronoun set is "cie/cir/cirs[elf]" but they is more than acceptable.

Well..

That was unexpected. Plus, the battery's at 93% o.O

M=W just really fucked up, trying to cut any chance of the track.

I will say that I find it VERY suspicious that the player would say "vezlie" to mean Vezo+Haylen. But I'll bite for now.

AGar/Haylen? I don't think so. AGar would have had to have done some SERIOUS distancing and bussing with mothrax. I don't view that as possible unless they both have a deeply personal relationship for some reason. That kind of thing happens, but it feels rare to me. AGar is not a good lynch for me, so I am suspicious of Chronopie if Haylen is scum because I feel like it would be a possibly easy way to distance under the primary lynch.

What are people's thoughts on Plum and Friend votehopping around? I don't blame them for wanting a lynch. The town needs to use its power. Not necessarily at random, though, so I'd like it if you who are good at scumhunting would do so. I am not really that good, but I can help in other ways like through asking pertinent questions or trying to keep things updated like light/smoke.

vez "lying" about his n2 ability is possible IMO.
However, I do agree on that we should let Haylen use her track ability.
The question is: on who? Or we do let her choose at will?
Also GUYS WE'RE NO LONGER IN A HURRY, UNLESS THE HOLY ONES ARE SCREWING WITH US. WE DO NOW HAVE PLENTY OF TIME.
