Because Vi told me that's when Vezok received that ability.

Vezok probably believed Socrate's to be an investigative role because he was asking for a claim.
Seriously. Read your role PM before playing.
I am sorry if you have to prod me, I have absolutely no concept of time.

My prefered pronoun set is "cie/cir/cirs[elf]" but they is more than acceptable.

Hmm. The first kinda makes sense, since you got it later. Please ask Vi whether vezo was also told the exact post as such.

Why on earth would you lampshade someone being an investi-role? (I understand that you're not vezo; still, can't figure out what was up there.)

Furcolow wrote:pretty sure based upon the recent light post that pacman is scum. He was voting with mothrax there, who was scum. He also hopped on before the 3rd/4th vote which is a good way to stay under the radar. His recent pestering of me to scumhunt when he is providing no real scumhunting himself is sheer hypocrisy.

I'll do some "scumhunting", pacman, through actually listening to the light for once, and I'm voting you for voting with mothrax.
Even if you're town, you're voting with scum there, and voting me in that votecount.

unvote;
vote: pacman
Oh... what the heck?
First: This is a logic fail. How do you conclude that I'm scum because one of the holy guys enlighted Vi's VC.
(which wasn't even true, apparently. ?).
Furthermore, read my #1526, where I state what I do think about this stupidity.
Second: This statement doesn't even make sense. Blindly following a light that "says I'm scum" (by a way I don't even understand, so please explain how do you arrive to this conclusion) is not scumhunting. Later you say that even if I'm town I voted with scum and therefore should get lynched.
WTF.

Reading on the Haylen stuff later. Catching up with other game + not much more time.

Iecerint wrote:I bet the small glow player is town. That was extremely workmanlike.
Iecerint wrote:Well, yeah, both have LIGHT FLAVOR and DARK FLAVOR.

But the gradations are either reserved for specific players.
These were the smoke posts, I believe.
They are both whiffs.
My speculation as to smoke being botched scumhunting/speculating I am pretty sure if correct.
The batter also went down. Perhaps it costs 15% to do smoke on a page? It was at 94% battery, now it's at 79%. I doubt it'd be 7.5 per 1, although that's what it boils down to, but I could see it being 15% per page on the battery. I'm wondering if one of the !!!!!!! re-generated the battery power, or if it was our discussion as a town.

There are several wagons that could be formed, but not that much scumhunting going on perse. People are more like "Oh, I'm checking in." than "These people are scum for these reasons". The town-people to me feel like the ones who are openminded to the nature of the moderators hints and clues that are given to us.

^ So, that looks like the guy in charge of DARK is upset that I called the LIGHT guy town and that I was wrong that both had both OR that both had different gradations.

ALSO -- there was an error in the relevant post -- the *DARK* guy lampshaded the ancient VC rather than the LIGHT guy subject to Vi's correction.

My interpretation is that a !!!!! disliked me calling LIGHT town (maybe in part to highlight that it'd been a Vi typo so I didn't keep repeating THATLIGHT-TOWN in my head?) for his post and then said I was wrong about both !!!!!!s having access to both light valencies.

I don't want you to scumhunt by trying to find out what do the "holy ones" try to say.
The current "valid theory", said by the holy ones themselves, is that there is at least one scum player among them.
He might be messing with our minds. So, it wouldn't be a good idea to follow what they say blindly. Else we would be WIFOM'd to death, as happened to you right now.
I want you to scumhunt by trying to read some posts and find allegiances from them.

you don't really do that that often, so why are you pushing someone else to do that? it looks like a scum puppeteer "yes, scumhunt for me" to me. You are pulling strings, but that doesn't mean you're not scum.

So wait. I've defended Pacman (not sure where) but I still have yet to see those posts I requested.

@CKD - My vote was on M=W for completely blowing past the claim by Haylen, no matter how ridiculous it is seeming, and just trying to string her up. Although I think Furc might need a pretty good length of rope, ignoring any questions levied at him.

@CKD & Haylen - What's the matter with giving town reads, exactly? Citing town reads also helps narrow down the lynch pool, increasing success. If I think people are town, and I give my reasons why, someone who may have a null read on them pulls them from their lynch pool.

@Furc - Respond to this, please.

instead of spouting off town reads...why not just give scum reads...why paint a kill target for scum? Top two scum reads from everyone would not only make everyone declare a stance and "narrow down the lynch pool", but will not expose those who the town believes to be the most town....

it is a scum move that only benefits scum.

Negative (I've pulled this stance from our mod actually).

Scum will kill who they want to kill regardless of who we tell them is a townie.

Top two scum reads from every player doesn't establish a hardline stance from anyone. Scummy players can clear themselves.

It's very difficult for you to flip yourself on a town read, without a pretty good reasoning.

It's very easy to detach from a scumread if things aren't going the right way.
