RVS seems to have been supplanted by the RCS this game.

It's pointless posturing, meaningless and counterproductive. Pure noise at this point.

OK, this game is
fast
, I wasn't expecting that. We're massclaiming? OK. I'm vanilla. I need to read all of this, thoughts will follow shortly - not necessarily tonight, it's late now, but if not tonight then before noon GMT tomorrow.

This game is too fast for me. I typically post once or twice per day, and not at weekends for the time being (home internet is down - need to go into uni to play). I basically missed all of yesterday. I'll keep up as best I can though. :)

I'm going to stand by my read yesterday at the time I made it: too much shouting too early based on small tells is usually over-aggressive VI meltdown induction rather than scumhunting. Parama's arguments against Vibebox are, even in retrospect, more a case of getting lucky than a compelling case, and DP melted down pretty much spontaneously. Vibe became obvscum when it became apparent that DP was scum, both because of DP's reactions and Vibe's refusal to hammer.

I'm wary about Parama, because he's
too
confident and in control. Could be that he knows too much - running a hugely ambitious double-bus gambit (although I think that's very unlikely), more likely that he's just being cocky. The setup talk on page 8 is part of this - we almost certainly can't redux from here, so we'll have to be careful. I'm a little concerned by this:
Parama wrote:Oh by the way, I am 99% sure the last scum is a
bulletproof GF
. It's the only way to balance out a 2-goon setup with a vig.
Parama wrote:I feel like taking a shot at the setup right now. Reference this for endgame.

2 Mafia Goons
1
Investigation-Immune Mafia Godfather

1 Town Vig
1 Town Bodyguard
1 Cop
6 Vanilla Townies
Parama wrote:Which means MC won't hurt the town
because the only PR who can do anything at this point is the likely BG
. Unless vig shoots someone and they don't die. Which means they're probably that
BP GF
.
Green sections are only compatible with investigation immune GF, blue sections are only compatible with bulletproof GF. This looks like an inconsistency in thought process to me, particularly the last quote where both (mutually exclusive) ideas are argued back-to-back.

Parama, am I misreading that?

I'm also concerned with Parama's pressuring for early massclaim, arguing for speedlynches, and directing the vig as if he were not only cleared but also infallible. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but that's what concerns me most at this point.

Gah. Sorry for the inactivity guys - I don't have internet at home, and I'm way too busy during the day to play properly. I was expecting home internet to be installed by now - I'm currently expecting sometime in the next few days, but keep getting messed around by the provider and don't hold out much hope. I'm going to have to be asked to be replaced.
