For the time being Parama vs. VibeBox looks town vs. town to me. DavidParker comes off a bit funny to me suggesting that Mafia would do a non-RVS bus on page 2, but his suggestion doesn't scream scum to me, and he does explain himself.

I've decided to stop waiting for stuff to happen and actually
MAKE
stuff happen. I would like one of charter and Parama to explain how mistaking ZazieR for being legitimately worried about an L-4 when he was making a sarcastic comment is scummy.

Hint:
A poor sense of humor is not a tell. (It's not a pre-emptive defense either; I don't want them throwing crap at me.)

This is what I find incredibly scummy.
I did not sign up to play Mafia with a blindfold around my head. Tell me exactly what I do that's scummy.

As for the post, I simply didn't see anything scummy about you three at the time. Now that I've been set straight about the L-4 issue, VibeBox is my best guess as scum even if we include everybody else in the game (I still plan on waiting before voting him—I want to see what he says about it), while you and DavidParker aren't scummy enough to warrant anything by me.

Parama and charter

Lurker in general is a term that needs to be expanded on. There is scummy lurking then there is no-tell lurking.
The no-tell lurking of which you speak is probably better termed "flaking"—not posting
ANYWHERE
on the site. Avoiding posting in the game while being elsewhere on the site is the scummy lurking people go after people for. There's also active lurking, which I believe is pretending to post content when you're actually not.
VibeBox wrote:

This is not a job, but a serious question.
Are you sure you have the right name this time?
If so, what about my reaction to the L-4 "issue" concerns you?
It's the name Parama fed me, and he's one of the most pro-town right now.

You defended your vote on ZazieR for putting CommieX at L-4 as a "random vote". A 8:4 mountainous alternating day and night is unbalanced in scum's favor as one mislynch is enough for potential MYLO, so it's not all that dangerous. This makes perfect sense on paper, but you unvoted CommieX when you voted ZazieR, which implies you seriously thought the wagon was dangerously high.
VibeBox wrote:Also, help a returning player out and define "VI", please. Thanks.
Village Idiot, a townie who constantly says the wrong things and gets himself lynched. I used to be a pretty bad VI, and I still think myself a poor player, but I've improved since.

Also, if somebody has questions outstanding, try to wait for them to be answered before hammering.

Parama wrote:SC, why do you think I'm pro-town?
You've been pretty much a very active scumhunter. In addition, now that we're in Day 2 with very likely one scum left, I really don't think scum would bus two of their buddies Day 1.
charter wrote:Just my speculation, I think it's probably a vig, since as SK, I don't think you want two scum dead so fast, with all likelihood that the third dies by the noose day two. Then you have to go like three straight days avoiding lynch and three straight nights avoiding being caught by a powerrole, not an easy feat.
This makes a bunch of sense logistically, but what other than that rules out that an SK mishit Mafia?

I did not kill VibeBox, by the way.

The claim is believable, but I'm with charter here—Parama should not have posted his speculation about the entire setup, which may have helped Kitoari if he's scum. I'm willing to go CommieX over Seol if Kitoari isn't scum, though.

Did you even read what I posted? I switched reads on VibeBox after Parama pointed out that he, not ZazieR, made a big deal over being at L-4. Also, look closely at the first time I mention a read on DavidParker—I simply said his post was "funny". I specifically

Soft selling people without committing along the way so as to save his partner.
This doesn't talk about either DavidParker or VibeBox, both of whom flipped scum. This implies that you think the setup is either 8:4 or 7:5 (depending on whether you thought I was trying to see if I could bus Parama), neither of which make sense. Assuming a single kill goes off each night, one mislynch puts the game in MYLO at 8:4 and causes a town loss at 7:5.

I of all people should know what KageLord is talking about when he says he wants to avoid stating his scum reads. First time I got vig, I announced who I was going to kill beforehand and went with it. I ended up drawing.

I still like nopointinactingup as scum. If we had only one scum dead, I'd start worrying a bit about how Parama and charter are connecting to each other, but since I think they're the same alignment and four scum doesn't make sense, as I previously said, they're probably both town rather than one scum and one town. I believe KageLord and think lynching Kitoari is the wrong answer, so process of elimination leaves cruelty, Seol, and Wingless for my #2 suspect. I want to see how Wingless responds to cruelty, so I'll leave them both alone and look at Seol.

OK, Seol's only decent post is ISO 7, which is a better case on Parama than nopointinactingup's on me, but I still see major flaws. I'm going to
FoS Seol
because I don't see his accusing Parama of being too confident as anything but the Too Townie fallacy. The case on pushing for both an investigation-immune and a bulletproof godfather makes sense in theory, but I'm willing to entertain the possibility that Parama doesn't have enough information to know which immunity the godfather has. (In my games, a godfather per se has investigation immunity and somebody with a bulletproof immunity is a different scum role entirely, but I'm not the one modding, so will probably have to live with this.)

So I was in a romantic mood? [/spelling Nazi]

What relevance does my comment on Parama have to this?
If Parama is irrelevant, then say so. Instead, you treated the situation as if I never asked it. The only way I can be compared to a fly on the wall is if you're used to flies on the wall trying to eat you.

So this is your final answer?
Yes, sir!

Ha ha! You're scared now, aren't you?

Parama's not obvtown anymore and seems to be content with lynching whoever without actual properly scumhunting and I'll probably vote him if I can't get support for nopointinactingup.

You HAVE to be joking.
I actually take Mafia (and most everything else, for that matter) pretty damn seriously.
Parama wrote:There is at least a 95% chance that we have 1 scum left. So you should vote your #1 suspicion no matter what
And you apparently can't decide on your #1 suspicion. You've gone back and forth between calling me misguided town and scum quite a bit today. Make up your mind.
Parama wrote:2. You really think I'm scum who tried to pull of the epic double-bus... on day 1?
Counterattacking me with WIFOM, eh? I've played scum games where I've bussed all my buddies early. I can't think of one off hand where I won as scum, but your post is still weak.

Town is ahead and I know I'm expendable, but if I must die, I would like to die with town thinking coherently.

If considering voting my #2 suspect with likely only one scum remaining is scummy, so be it. I'd rather have a fallback in case nopointinactingup either is a nonviable lynch or flips town than stall the game, which I hate to do as much as you.

I've had that happen in one of my early games too, DavidParker. Don't feel
TOO
bad.

I'm actually being hard on myself, not you—I could have sworn to God the last scum was you or Parama, and I was off the mark.

Are those stats exclusive to Little Italy, Hoopla? Town seems to win more of my games than they lose—of the games I modded, they only lost Mini 716, Mini 830 (I think), Mini 1,011, and Go Play in Traffic! Scum has yet to win a multiball of mine, and the only StrangerCoug's Worst Nightmare game scum won is thanks to my practice of dealing with game-ruining mod errors (everyone that didn't legitimately lose before the error wins).
