I'm just a little confused with Fur's play thus far. He made a post saying he liked what I did then voted me in his next post (roughly). Now he is claiming when he is nowhere near a lynch.

I later unvoted cause I have read up on furc's games a little and I see how he plays and lynching him to me seems to be more of a policy lynch, people are voting him just because they latched on to one thing he did.

First, that is often how games get out of RVS. Second, he has done several scummy things, not just one, see my last post.

of course he isn't helping himself by claiming early and asking about mafia fake claims and such, but I really don't think he would be that obvious if he were mafia (of course I could be wrong)

I read that quote as "the wagon got going really fast, but there wasn't much reasoning behind it". This interpretation is supported by the rest of the post.

We all know that town is concerned with scum hunting and scum wants to look town, but why does that make it a scum tell for someone to seem like they are town? I agree that going out of your way to try to get townie points, like Fur seems to have done, is scummy, but Nocmen hasn't done that. If it walks like a duck, looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, odds are it's a duck. Occam's Razor applies here.

Ironic that you say that after twisting what Nocmen said and using a strawman argument to attack him.

Also, you say that his claim is the most scummy behavior you have detected, but you voted Noc after his claim. Contradiction, much? You said that it has "cemented enough to be scum", but he hasn't done anything since then, so what changed your mind?

That sure sounds like defending Furc to me. Especially the bold.

3. But Furc did nothing to change your opinion. The only thing that happened between your first opinion and your second was you coming under pressure.

It is really ironic that you are attacking Nocmen for lying when you clearly are lying about your reason for voting him.

I need to look back at Fur's WIFOM again, but the idea I was trying to convey with that post was that they both used WIFOM, but HOMJ has done all these other things as well, so I think he is scummier.

When I voted him he said I was pushing furc's lynch which was misrepresenting facts

the other part of it was left purposefully vague cause I have been told on 2 differen games on site that you don't say it is a pressure vote or it won't be effective, so I followed that advice here. Clearly it worked cause he did become active

But just now you said that you voted him only as a pressure vote. That clearly contradicts your earlier claim that you voted him because of a misrep, just as you went from defending Fur to saying he was the scummiest person in the game after I attacked you after your vote on Nocmen.

I am not defending Noc, I am attacking you. Do you understand the difference?

If I had the power to lynch HOMJ and Fur today I think I would. I mean, come on Fur. You aren't voting for OMGUS, oh no. You are much better than that, so you are voting to try to save your neck and being opportunistic. And calling out SV for voting for no reason while you yourself said you only voted HOMJ to try to save your neck is incredibly hypocritical.
