I think my Zangvote makes much more sense if you take into account that I came into this game expecting a C9-type set-up, not whatever freak of nature this set-up is. There's a preponderance of evidence now that we're in a weird set-up, but at the time there was nothing to tip me off. The notion that a non-sane cop would be balanced by a lack of nightkill is not something that occured to me.

you have been lurking the entire game. you accepted the "mason" gambit willingly. jack's points against you are valid. etc.

Then what were you WOWing over? The only one of those which can be considered new is a bit of inactivity, which is fully explained by out-of-game factors; and I don't think I've been lurking apart from that. I don't see how the mason gambit thing is supposed to be scummy. And I like how you say "Jack's points" since it is very revealing - although Jack's case has 1), 2), and 3) in it, those are just used to indicate a timeline and it's just the one point he made. I didn't notice this mistake until I re-read Jack's post but this is a clear sign you're just piggybacking off of Jack.

My personal guess for the set-up is that your group had extra information of some sorts like an elaborate fake claim which ties in with a town role (Bible Verse Mafia had an SK with this) or just simply the entire set-up. You could've alternatively had a more pro-active information gathering role such as role cop. Those both sound fairly balanced to me (although I'd assume Zang was insane if the mafia did know the entire set-up) whereas nightless 7p with 2 paranoid cops does not; if you posit, as d_j seems to do, that the FSB-CIA link provides strong evidence for d_j being town, then this game is insanely balanced: scum need to either have a member look the towniest of all or scum need to have the 2nd and 3rd towniest-looking members. Sure, you might think the paranoid cops give the scum a free mislynch, but cops have a nasty habit of investigating scummy players anyway (e.g. Zang would've almost certainly been lynched before endgame) and I don't think the mislynch happens without one of the cops investigating the other one.
