I'll VOTE: No lynch as well. No likely situation here makes lynching right, and frankly the less said today the better - don't want to tell the scumbags what to do.

A very short day at the shore. Winter is coming and the New Yorkers are going home. So you think. The group goes to the local police station to work on ways to keep the outsiders out next year. When they at the station, they find a dead Rain. He suffocated in a pile of hair gel. So not all the New Yorkers have disappeared....

Llamarble and Fishythefish turn towards themanhimself and smile. themanhimself tries to draw his gun but he is blinded by 2 bottles of spray tan. He cannot see anything, and acquires skin cancer and dies.

Rain,
Town Cop
,
has been killed![/b]

Therefore,

themanhimself
,
Serial Killer
,
has been endgamed!

Llamarble,
Mafia Roleblocker
wins!
Fishythefish,
Mafia Godfather
wins!

Muahahahaha!
MW, I thought your defense was really good; I would have considered defending you had I logged in before you died.
I'm surprised IS didn't counterclaim against or shoot TMH.
I was afraid TMH would think "they'll roleblock me unless they expect me to target someone else" and shoot Fishy or me instead of Guderian.
I'm glad that gamble paid off.
I totally believed TMH was vig after N2 because there was clearly an additional killing role and nobody had counterclaimed vig, so I found IS' flip confusing.

Fishy/Jase was investigation immune not NK immune by the way, or at least that was what we thought.

I like swingy setups (obviously). If I had to do it again, I might make it 9-2-1 as 8-3-1 is pretty tough on the town. However I thought this was a winnable game for town. I was sure IS was going to use his shot on Jase/Fishy at some point so it was pretty heartbreaking when he killed xsrk. Mafia was debating who should send in the kill N2 which could have been blocked by chkflip. Rain's investigations kept flipping soon after which didn't help. If mafia had attempted to kill TMH who was NK immune, that also would have helped the town. I realize the setup was difficult on town but I stand by that it was a winnable game.

I figured with the 2 roleblockers, some of the kills would be neutralized and mass confusion would ensue. This kind of happened with TMH's claim D2. I like when people are in the dark about the setup with kills coming out of nowhere. Even the mafia agreed that there was next to no chance TMH was actually the serial killer up until the end.

I didn't want to say it in thread, but I wasn't starting D2 early even though I had all the night actions well before deadline. There is a certain WIFOM that can come with starting a day early with 11 people still alive (seeing if anyone was possibly offline for that period). Everyone had sent in their actions well before deadline but I will still adhere to 72 hours for the first few days. When it's obvious the remaining players are active, I don't mind opening the thread early. But reading into why N1 went the entire 72 hours was simply because I wanted it to.

Fishy was not NK immune. I was toying with the idea of NK immune or investigation immune. Given all the killing roles, it might have been a better idea to make him NK immune although neither ended up coming into play.

Anyway I welcome criticism, praise, or personal attacks on NJ. I'm really glad the game didn't drag on until Christmas. The participation was excellent, my only prods were around Thanksgiving which is understandable. Special thanks to Fishy and Mr Wright (who pretty much nailed scum, SK). It's amazing what a fresh perspective can do.

Well by the time day 4 rolled around, the town had lost. Day 3 was make or break. I think IS claiming was the right thing to do, considering he was one shot. Would of made lynching TMH very easy. And with a cop still alive, I would of liked towns chances if we had lynched the SK on D3.

To bad no crosskills, which would of helped =___=.

Yeah there was still a chance however for TMH to win D4 which is why I had to keep the game going. If scum didn't RB him for whatever reason, they could have attempted to kill him, he kills scum, that leaves 1v1v1 situation.

Well, I was sure that TMH was an SK, but I wanted him to shoot some mafia and have him lynched last. So I kept my role secret for the time being to see what people came up with.
Looks like I was right on Jase/Fishy after all. Oh well, excellent work.

Oh and I killed xsrk just so we wouldnt try to waste a day arguing whether to lynch him or not. I wasnt expecting TMH's kill to fail that night yet again, so that threw a wrench into my plans as well.

Yep, the only bit of bad luck we had was TMH trying to shoot carrot N1 and Carrot getting lynched as a result.

Actually, I would say that almost worked in your favor. Had carrot been shot, I think a lot more suspicion and talking could of taken place on that second day. Instead, we got the vig claim and a little bus and still some confusion in the town.

Here's the scum QT. I think the only biggish decision we made was not blocking TMH on N3. That got us down to a winning endgame, a Guderian kill seemed likely, and we wanted to block the real SK (turned out we were wrong there).

I'm guessing IS wasn't claiming because he thought CC was a better lynch than TMH, and perhaps that the town needed crosskills. Personally, I think I'd have done the same but then shot CC with the 1-shot.

Cop had an unlucky time of dead targets.

What immunities did the SK have?

Thanks to SB for modding and to everyone for playing.
