Umbrage, not random voting aside, stifling conversation is bad, and that's what you've done by playing this out before it happens. Can you explain why you thought that would be a good thing?Umbrage wrote:*doesn't random vote*

I've decided to play a game not using my typical style just to prove to myself that I'm still right. The majority of you can disregard this, but to the few who do know me (TheAdmiral, CyberBob?), you can expect me to explain my votes this game.

Have you ever thought about why games have a tendency to open like that?Umbrage wrote:Every game I've seen has started with someone who doesn't do RVS, and is then bandwagoned. I wanted to shake things up a little.
If you wanted to make things open differently why the deconstructive approach instead of a constructive one?Taking a break from the site.-

I don't mind that you answered this one specifically, and I know you claim to hate doing so, but in the future please don't answer questions directed at other people. You have no way of knowing if I would mind or not, and far more often than not, I will.Olinea wrote:I hate answering questions for others, I've been called out on it, but this should bring us all up to speed.Taking a break from the site.-

I wasn't being coy, you quoted someone else when asking what you asked, the content of that quote was about me, so I assumed you were asking me the question, but generally questions below quotes are directed at the poster of the quote. I was mildly confused so asked for clarities sake.ThAdmiral wrote:
Yes. Don't play coy. This is the second time you avoided giving a reason to your vote.chamber wrote:Are you asking me?
I see you have since done so. Thank you for that, but why not state this up front?

Post count doesn't mean that much, many of the posts in here are fast 1 liners. Clarity is important enough to justify all of the posts I've made that you seem to find useless, I shall continue to make them as long as people aren't clear. Scum and town DON'T approach the RVS the same way.Umbrage wrote:
The "is this question rhetorical, are you asking me, I thought that was the other guy" posts can go. For Pete's sake, we're already on page 3. It's Christmas, people. Relax.
Also, people shouldn't have to explain their random votes. That's because they are random. Scum and town approach the RVS in the same way. It's all null, people.Taking a break from the site.-

I actually found that throw away line at the bottom to be incredibly scummy. He's framed his post in a way to attack you but isn't committing to it. It looks scummy as hell. Fewer people should be scummy in this game, I can't vote for all of you.el simo wrote:unvote: Umbrage
I just made another ranting post about how you don't understand, and then noticed at the bottom of the post you said, "I just don't what to think," which implies I'm right and you don't understand, I guess that can be townie motivation.

This looks like an admission that the vote was legitimately RVS without any reasoning and now people are attacking el simo for it.ThAdmiral wrote:

The type of 'proper case' you seem to want is incredibly anti-town, so there is no way I'm giving you one. My ISO is likely a faster read than yours, you can deal with reading it. A bunch on 1 liners >>>>> walls of text. Add this ultimatum to the list of things that make you scummy.Umbrage wrote: @ chamber: Either make a proper case on me or get off my wagon. @UmbrageI'm not going to argue theory with you. You are wrong, but you can learn that by reading MD or something. Until then I wont hold you being wrong against you.
I really don't understand your inability understand that 'random' doesn't actually mean random.

Your previous post suggested you thought ScumCyberBob was on the lynch because he thought it would be easy. This one suggests you think hes on it as an earnest policy lynch. Which is it?el simo wrote:
Because as soon as someone votes him he will reply with a wave of OMGUS which someone else will think is a scum tell and will vote him and then he will start complaining about how he should be replaced or how he should be mod killed or how it's all unfair or how he is going to vote himself or AoE the hell out of us and then someone will decided this is a scum tell and vote him for that and then you have genius' like Cyberbob who will push policy lynches on him because he doesn't present his cases in the most coherent sentences and then next thing we know we will have lynch of someone who actually hasn't done anything scummy.chamber wrote:@el simoWhy do you feel like furcolow is an easy lynch? It happens every game. Literally, if he isn't shot at night he goes down in a ball fire, guns blazing at everyone after scum decided to push his wagon off a cliff. He is like a magnet for them.

The "genius'" used there is clearly intended as a tongue and cheek attack on cyberbobs intelligence, if he's scum he wouldn't be unintelligent for pushing a policy lynch on town.Taking a break from the site.-
