I am quite suspicious of FD as I've mentioned, but I am not participating in this claim frenzy nonsense. Someone wake me up when we're ready to lynch someone. I am happy with my vote.

Not voting for people you find "quite suspicious" doesn't seem to be a winning strategy. Anyway, Flying Dutchman has been run up quite a bit, so I think we'd all like to hear from him before we lynch him.

FD, you obviously know why I want to lynch you, but I believe there are other people who have complaints about the things you have said during the day. We'd all appreciate it if you addressed them before we decide to lynch you.

With regards to mith, I don't know what to make of his "nice play" tell on PeaceBringer. mith, could you explain that tell to me? And has anyone else heard of this tell? And mith, why didn't you follow up with it if you thought it was a tell? If you can't tell, I am not too subtly suggesting that you were scum with PeaceBringer. He is pretty well known for not saying a lot and bandwagoning on day one. I am surprised you didn't give him one of your assignments (yes, I know Coron and MoS are worse).

About the current Pookywagon: I can't specifically point to what, but something about Pooky rings true with me. Even with his lack of defense, I suspect he really is a protown role. Voting him probably isn't the way to go today.

Pooky's pretty good at making a fuss even if he is scum, so I wouldn't put too much stock into it. I think if we have anything on him, though, I'll get a better read on him.

The more I think about lynching Pooky, the more I like the idea. His defense hasn't been particularly convincing; his self-analysis seem just as much like a scum listing off reasons why his posts were acceptable pro-town posts as they seem pro-town.

Also, Pooky hasn't weighed in on anyone besides DP. He didn't give us much information in his early other votes either.

Pooky's defense also seems over the top. Like we're morons for thinking he's scum. That doesn't seem fair since he hasn't done anything in particular to clear himself. In my opinion, if you haven't been incidentally cleared before day three or had a particularly strong voting record, it's time to step up and find some scum. Pooky hasn't done that. I've managed to slog through all of the mud, and it was interesting that the two people I thought were suspicious (flying low and looking at post 359 & I don't remember the other but I'll try to find it) ended up as anti-town. Question to all, after it was discoverd that CA was lying, why was there not more of a to-do made about it? Or is no one here interested in the LAL bit? From what I can see of Pooky, it seems he did not start posting anything of any length or detail, til someone called him on it... which is why he caught my attention. But, I have one other person/correlation to look at in detail before I cast my vote.

Yeah, I'm going to have to reconsider that whole strategy, since I don't think we learned much through it during this game.

I did make sure to say that I wasn't a cop with a guilty on FD before the lynch, though. I didn't wait until after.

I believe I can explain some of what is going on with Fritzler and LML.

I had a one-shot ability, but I didn't know what it did. I targeted Roadbird night one, and I don't remember who I targeted the other two nights until I targeted LML night four. My targeting of LML was successful, so I no longer have any ability. I learned this last night.

I believe Fritzler recruited LML at some point. My guess is that Fritzler was blocked or something when he attempted to recruit VisMaior, but he thought that he couldn't recruit VisMaior because VisMaior was scum.

I may be wrong about Fritlzer being a cult leader. Maybe you can draw some other conclusions from what is going on here. I think it's also possible that Fritzler didn't even know that he's a cult leader, or that he didn't tell LML.

I'm still not quite sure what my role does. I thought I was a resurrector at one point, but that's because I thought I was Matthew 10:6, not Matthew 10:16. Now, I am fairly certain that I bring someone back from the cult.

VitaminR, there is no way you and I can share this victory or share a draw. Similarly, you cannot strike a deal with the cult. You are doomed.

However, you can help out the town. Some day they might do the same for you.

If we "no lynch" and go to night, will you kill mith? You would be lynched tomorrow.

At best, Ameliaslay and I win as town (this assumes mith cannot recruit). At worst, Ameliaslay and I draw (this assumes mith can recruit).

From a flavor perspective, it's best for both of us to do this. I've clearly got it in for the cult, and would like to see them die. You happen to like killing people. I'm giving you one more chance to do it. With this play, we both get a little more out of our flavor.

This is the best anyone in town can offer you. There were a lot more townies this game than cult members; more people who would like to return the favor for you in a future game. Your loss is certain. This is the best you can get.

You could backstab me and night-kill me. That would give the town a loss over a win. It would also make people angry with you in the next life. If that's what you want to do, I can't really stop you. I see a way to win, and I take it. Do we have a deal?

Your plan will not work. I can recruit, whether I die or not. Ameliaslay will become cult, and VitaminR will die, and we have our draw either way. You gain nothing from this, CA.

In fact, VitaminR, I'd rather have a three-way draw than get killed. Dead or not, I'll still be a part of a cult draw, but so what? I like surviving. I'll offer you one better: so long as you don't kill, you stay alive; eventually Cadmium will declare this a draw. As soon as you kill me, you get lynched. CA won't lynch you with me alive, and I can't lynch you without him. If I die, you're dead, and you lose. You've played a great game, don't settle for a loss just because of some ridiculous grudge against the cult (where does that come from, anyway? we're both evil! we should be working together, if anything).

Why don't we all just go down to happy town and roll around in the happy hay with our big happy smiles on?

We don't know what tricks mith has up his sleeves. And it's possible that he could recruit both Ameliaslay and I and lynch you anyway, VitaminR. Then you'd be handing the game to the cult.

My guess is that Cadmium will force you to make a kill before calling his game a draw. You know where that kill would go anyway. Might as well take out mith earlier, rather than later.

However, the other member (and I will say this.. it's NOT mith), isn't pro-town. However, since he/she is at my mercy, We have the cult working for the town.

I had to reread this post 4 or 5 times before I realized I was probably going to have to start lying in order to get the town to win. I thought at one point that I was already doomed, and that at best I'd be able to choose the winner.

I would like to debate the use of the phrase "good game" here, at least as applied to the town.

You guys were lucky to escape with a tie. Lynching me without giving me a chance to say anything was one of the most incredibly stupid things you could possibly have done. Had Fritz known his role earlier, it would have ended the game right then and there, with a win for the cult.

I am still in a state of disbelief that with a potential three cult out there, ADMITTEDLY still with recruiting ability, that you rushed a lynch which could have killed the town in one swift blow. LoudmouthLee had

about regaining his cop ability and given a false result. He had been proven cult, and people somehow took his word for it that he was pro-town. (I know he was telling the truth, but it was SO UNBELIEVABLE.) And lynched me without giving me a chance to argue my case.

I was fully aware that I was going to be caught, but I wanted to take out as many cultists as I could in the process. I was convinced mith was cult - sadly, I was also convinced that recruiting mith, VitaminR, and Roadbird would have been the first thing a cultist would do, and killed the ONE player of the three whose death would not have benefited me.

The play worked for you, but it was not "good".

(OK, OK. I'm bitter. Seriously bitter. Not about getting lynched, that was inevitable. But getting lynched within two hours of my going to sleep, without the chance to make an argument? With a super-scary cult looming, which nobody seemed to pay attention to? That SUCKED. So take all this with a grain of salt, I'm still not over it.)
