The case on brokenscraps was just idiotic. farside completely hit the nail on the head and I think antB comes off looking bad in that little exchange. I mean seriously, who pushes something like that? I also feel like he's panicking for absolutely no reason, and that doesn't sit well with me.

That can be taken to mean any number of things, depending on how you read it. I read it as "CN confirmed 2nd. Scum!". You and farside read it as "CN

2nd scum". This has to do with the psychology of how people interpret written word, not "interlect".

This is weird to me. Why push it farther when you know you're wrong instead off attempting to twist it around and make it into something it isn't?

My vote was serious, in "serious times" as I felt (and still do feel) he was(is) trying to cover for a slip.

I don't understand the overdefensiveness on his play so early in the game. It doesn't make any sense to me, what can you possibly be worried about that you're so freaked out over others not understanding your case? And then going on to break it down completely was just so unnecessary. It doesn't sit right with me.

Oh, you mean the unnecessary attitude? I suppose you can categorize it as "defiant", although that's a little bit rich of a word to use for a snarly little side comment.

I half agree with Egg though. Meaning I don't believe in half-jokes but not for the reasons Egg threw out there. I think anybody stating that they're "slightly serious" or they "kind of" agree or are "pretty sure" are all just cop-outs. Ways to excuse themselves if they get attacked over it.

It's weak. What on earth could I be planning in the QT that it takes me FOUR HOURS to plot over? Why wouldn't I confirm beforehand and then make my post in the QT? This isn't a theme game, and it's not that difficult to say "Hi I'm Nacho my experience with players on the playlist is x and I think we should y". Hell, even if my scumpartner had questions for me, it wouldn't take FOUR HOURS to discuss them. What do you think I, as scum, would think not confirming would do, anyways? It only takes 9/13 people to confirm, which is a little more than half. Is there really any tangible advantage in delaying one out of nine confirmations? No. Not at all. It's a good RVS discussion starter, yes, but it's not a real tell.

His vote on AntB stroke me as particularly bad. When I read it, it seemed like one of the worst cases of scum bussing that I've ever seen. This is my best lead for now.
