I have an awesome plan for the bomb day one, and an awesome plan for it day 2.

I want it day one because I want to play outguess the mod regarding the first deadline and pass it to someone right before it goes off.

After that we force it on a suspect.

While I have no intrinsic problem with Jack's plan, I think the town as a whole should have a hand in picking the "someone" Jack will pass the bomb to.
It's not good to let people use any kind of town consensus as a crutch. I want to see each person who has the bomb making their own decision on what to do with it.

I have played with a similar deadline mechanic, and considered setups involving them at one point. I have an educated guess as to when the first bomb will go off, so you should give it to me and let me take a shot at vigging with it. It's worth a shot.

Other than that, having a clear standard for how to use the bomb is just handing the mafia a big note saying HERE'S WHAT TO DO TO BE INDISTINGUISHABLE FROM TOWN. People should do what their townie instincts tell them to do, and mafia can scramble to try and keep up.

Early bomb movement is pretty meaningless.

Hoopla, you aren't working with the information I'm working with.

What the heck is this Hoopla? I revealed nothing about having any role related info.

There really isn't that much to say about the bomb. It explodes and kills people, so you don't want to keep it, and you want to pass it to someone you wouldn't mind dying.

Hopefully I will get it to start.

CES, pass the bomb to me.

I have played in a game with almost the exact same kind of mod-predetermined deadlines, and it should be obvious that it isn't entirely random. I have a decent chance at guessing close to right.

I have a bomb activated PR. Depending on how long I hold it, I get different abilities. Longer is better.

My
perfectly legitimate
guesses about when the first deadline will be are relevant here. I wanted to get it ASAP on day 1 because it would be bad from a design standpoint to have it go off before the game is up to speed.

@Jack: To be clear - your PR has benefits based off of how long you hold the bomb, but you actually have no information on when it goes off, correct? You're relying on your personal insights for that?
I have empirical data and inferences from the role information, in addition to the "personal insights".

I don't understand that "thing". What I suggested was reasonable (I really was in a previous game with the same kind of mechanic) and it was annoying to have it called role related information, even though I did have separate role related information.
