I agree with the logic of a D1 no-lynch, but since it was the first thing brought up obviously all scum has to do is agree. Of course a lynch would benefit them more, but now they are just along for the ride till the end of day 1. How do we gain any suspicions if there is not people getting on and off wagons and pushing for a lynch? Who would be willing to cast a vote (for us to analyze and over analyze) if we all just agree on a no-lynch. Yes, a no-lynch is better but I wish we had had some discussion before somebody pointed it out.-

Funny, how does it appear that I know you are town? For all I know you are scum and just trying to appear town. I just think it was silly to bring it up before anybody had a chance to begin discussion.bvoigt wrote:Stefunny wrote:I agree with the logic of a D1 no-lynch, butsince it was the first thing brought up obviously all scum has to do is agree. It looks like you know I'm town, since I brought it up first and you're saying that scum are going to agree.
Well I don't think anybody would be quite dumb enough to completely disagree with a no lynch, since a mislynch d1 means a scum win, but I feel it's now to easy for the scum to hide out until end of day 1 because we aren't going to end up lynching anyone.brokenscraps wrote: -Please explain how disagreeing with a no-lynch would've been a scumtell
That's just the feeling I got from the first few posts, do you feel we can now have realistic, productive discussion if everyone knows we most likely will not end up lynching anybody D1?-

I may be incorrect but with this set up is it even possible to go longer than 2 days?brokenscraps wrote:If scum lurk or hide today they can still be lynched on later days. Just because we're having a kill-free night phase in between doesn't mean what happens now won't count tomorrow.-

I've never played in a game where a No-lynch was even considered D1. When I count out deaths I count 2 a day, so I was sitting there eating lunch reading the thread on my phone and all I could think was in 2 days 4 will be dead, how does that make sense? Duh, no-lynch, that's how.
Also, discussing who we want to be investigated MAY not be a bad idea. I guess the way I read the cop position is they can only investigate ONE night, and instead of them secretly finding out the targets role it is published in the thread. I think using that N1 would be better than waiting seeing as how the scum only have 3 targets. There is a 1 in 3 chance they will kill cop.-

No, just slow -_-;;bvoigt wrote:Slow reader?
After rereading the thread (and the set up, good grief) I think I understand how this is going to play out. Honestly if nobody else has counterclaimed it is pretty safe to say Broken is the cop, which makes it fairly easy to narrow it down to two scum. I honestly think BVoigt is probably scum. He was the first one to suggest a no-lynch and when I asked about the no lynch he seemed to get really defensive. To the point where he seriously wanted to vote me because I thought a no-lynch suggestion was not a great idea (Granted, it was a good idea, I just was being a dolt.) It was just a quick vote that seemed sort of unfounded.
I know it's not a great case, but I don't think bv310 is scum (just a feeling) and Scraps isn't scum, so honestly I think it HAS to be Cthulu and BVoigt.
Either one of those being investigated would benefit us. Yes, BVoigt does want us to CSI Cthulu, but with only 5 people it's going to be harder for them to not fake suspicions of eachther without looking suspicious themselves. I actually think this set up is harder for scum now that I've rethought the set up. Once cop claims it can narrow down pretty quick.-

Due to lack of posting I'm wondering if we are going to get much more out of this day. I know I haven't really helped, but I don't really feel there is a whole lot to go off of yet. I think Cthulhu is the best person to investigate at this point, so we could probably begin voting for No Lynches, yes?
Vote: No Lynch-

This game is not holding my interest as much as I'd hoped, I spent some time thinking about it today, trying to figure out the best way to determine who is scum. Right now we pretty much all have 3 candidates; everyone except ourselves and brokenscraps. This bring up an interesting point, if we investigates somebody and find them to be town then at least a couple of us will know for sure who the scum are. The scum obviously will try to mislead us.
For a little bit I was starting to think Cthulhu and Bvoigt were going at each other too hard to be scum buddies, they are really having a pretty heated back and forth and it sort of made me think maybe I was wrong about my suspicions.
HOWEVER, I think that with the limited amount of players, the cop claim, and a pending investigation it would BENEFIT scum to convince everyone to investigate their scum buddy. If player A and B are scum together and player A convinces us to investigate player B, then it would make sense that they weren't scum buddies, making player A look innocent while they kill us all off.
I vote that we investigate BVoigt. Honestly if somebody is not scum then why would the be against being investigated? I understand it is a potential waste of an investigation, but at the same time it narrows it down dramatically. I really think Cthulhu is scum, but I'm not sure WHICH BV is more likely to be scum mate. Therefore an investigation of one of them seems most logical to me.
Did any of that make sense?-

Cthulhu at this point a "feeling" about who is scum is all I really have to go on. I think most of us agree that Cthulhu really seems like he is scum though. It seems like every one of your posts is defense and no actual scum hunting. Any of your candidates for being investigated seem to only be candidates because of OMGUS. I would be happy with either a Bvoigt or a Bv310 investigation. Regardless of who we hit, town or scum, we should be able to figure it out. I still think Bvoigt and Cthulu were really going after each other but I still stand by the idea that it would be best for scum to direct town to their scum mate in order to look town.-

SO I'm trying to figure out the numbers in my head right now. We know Bvoigt is scum so do we lynch him end of day after trying to figure out who his buddy is? If I'm thinking this out right we technically are in mylo, so we'd have to be sure if we were to lynch somebody OTHER than Bvoigt.
As of right now it's between Cthulhu and Bv310 at least for me. At first I really thought Cthulhu was his scum mate because of their going back and forth but after bvoigt realized he was close to being investigated he threw out this:
From this I think he is bussing his buddy bv310. He says he'd prefer to get a guilty result (Which we got anyways) But if he had convinced us to investigate bv and he was wrong then we'd be after him. I think he offered up BV knowing that we'd get a guilty result and it would take some heat off of him. Also he really wasn't pushing for a bv310 investigation until late in D1, he barely mentioned him because of the interaction he had with Cthulhu and he still called him his number 1 suspect but was pushing for a bv310 investigation.bvoigt wrote:Naturally, since I'd prefer to get a guilty result, I'd rather have bv310 investigated. He could be town, of course, but IknowI'm town.
From your perspective, brokenscraps, it also might be a better choice because bv310 hasn't posted as much as me. For that reason, I think he'd be more difficult to read.-

I think it's fairly obv we are going to end up lynching Bvoigt end of day but I'd like to evaluate who his partner is before that. I'd like to hear from Cthulhu as to why it's bv310 and not him instead of restating the numbers game.
What I'm trying to figure out myself is if bvoigt pushing for a bv310 investigation late D1 was him bussing partner for a guilty to keep him alive a day longer, or if it was him trying to get heat off of him AND Cthulhu.-

Cthulhu I stated quite a few times my logic behind the investigation vote. It feels like you don't read other peoples posts thoroughly, or you don't care, or you don't comprehend.
I will reiterate again... We know Brokenscraps is town; if I am town then I know there are 3 people left and 2 are scum. It almost doesn't matter who we investigate. If we hit town I automatically know both scum, if we hit scum then I know one scum and have another day to figure out the second one. It almost would be better to push for somebody you think is town to be investigated if you are town! I said a couple of times it didn't matter who was investigated, with only 3 options you would figure out at least 1 scum with ANY investigation. If YOU are town you would have felt the same way. The fact that you didn't really really makes me think you are NOT TOWN. I'm still working on comparing your interactions with Bvoigts and bv310s interactions with bvoigt. I'm also kind of waiting for bv310 to come back.
My defense is based on my stupidity and not paying close enough attention to the set up. Obviously if I was scum the info would have been in my PM thread and it would have been hard for me to ignore. Yes, I'm pretty much claiming VI... If it wasn't for others pointing it out I probably still wouldn't understand the set up because I'm a dumb ass. =(
You can believe it or not, but trying to launch a case against me when bv310 is definitely more of a threat is just silly.-

I don't think the defense is strange, I think it makes sense. I did slip up in terms of scum roles and I know that doesn't automatically rule me out. However everyone that is town, with exception of you, only really had 3 possible suspects, Yes I switched to bvoigt at the last minute but it REALLY didn't matter who got investigated because of how the numbers fell. PLUS we weren't voting to end the day so when Cthulhu says I voted and didn't give him a chance it really didn't make any sense. He could have just as well disagreed with me and voted bv310 and we could have discussed it. It was HIS vote that achieved the no lynch, he didn't have to end the day.
He was the only one who didn't want to give a straightforward answer in who he wanted investigated and once I switched my vote he decided to just end the day instead of trying to present a case. I still don't feel he has really ever made it clear who he thinks is scum with bvoigt. D1 he said he was "struggling to pick someone to be investigated" and D2 twice he has said "I'll come back and reread tomorrow" I feel like he does a lot of fence sitting and is extremely noncommittal.-

Once again, can you show me these questions? Because I can't seem to find what you are referring to. I'm pretty sure I responded during the last day phase to anything you had asked me.Cthulhu wrote:You know, I can't beleive it. Stefunny you seemed very scummy at the end of the day, by asking for bv310's replacement while simaltaneously voting to end the day? What is that about? Especially since I had once again asked you questions, which you seem to ignored.-

Wow, I am retarded. I'm sorry I'm getting games mixed up. I am done with this game, it is obviously dead locked and I would like to end it. It irritates me that Cthulhu logged on today but never responded to my question. Bv310s avoidance of this game through it's duration also irritates me. Therefore I am going to just end it and hope I'm right.

I'm terrible at this game, I really had a weird feeling about bv's vote but I couldn't convince myself. The game had dragged on so I assumed he just wanted it done and over with like me. I had considered coming out of the gate just voting but bv actually beat me to it.
