The roles I sent in were the kamikaze pilot, the voyeur, and the role cop. The kamikaze pilot, if there is one, can select one person to kill and they both die; the other two have Wiki pages.

I think your handwriting is a bit like mine, zoraster. I see differences, but it's close.

Internet Stranger, why are you making a big fuss of massclaiming submitted roles? I don't see how town is hurt by turning this game into a semi-open.

I know. In fact, I recognize the language. "No habla español" isn't talking about the speaker, though—it is either a statement that a third party doesn't speak Spanish or an instruction to one of your friends not to speak Spanish. To say "I don't speak Spanish", it's "no habl

A standard cop, not unless there are multiple scumteams. I sent in a role cop, though.

I'm not sure I'm interpreting this correctly. The signup thread warns that you are not guaranteed to have any of your submitted roles in the game, which implies that it's possible for somebody to have more than one of their submitted roles in play.

If there are multiple scumteams and one of them has a standard cop role, they can use that to get rid of opposing scum since they can get guilty results. The likelihood of other forms of cop aren't affected by the number of scumteams, though.

Xalxe, I'm sorry, but I agree with the consensus here. You're obsessing over the list of claims rather than scumhunting, and when the wagon on you started forming, you freaked out. I like vote reasons too, but your reaction doesn't read as town.

Allow me to rephrase.

Why do you assume 2 scumteams instead of just 1? The natural assumption, I'd think, is that there's only 1 scumteam.
I'm not. Just throwing the possibility out there.

In other news,

English is not your first language, is it? You refer to Olinea as male and female in the same paragraph, and I'm not aware of anybody on this site being a herm.
You look as nice as your case on Xalxe sounds :)

Just in case you do a video on me, the heaviest accent is on the first syllable. You should be able to get the pronunciation right if you know what "coug" is short for, though.

I believe the Yosarianite story. Weird role name, but unless there's crazy stuff going on I don't think any more should be said about the detonate issue.

Zoraster knows that not everyone can use youtube to be able to watch it, this makes it a different improved, some might say, version of lurking. There is also too many "ehrmm's" and "err's" in his point to actually believe any of this he needs to get telling the truth as an ehrmm is definitely a sign of lying and ever heard of LaL? I have.
This is a very lame vote reason. Of the two computers I use, YouTube may work better on my sister's computer, to which I only have access a few hours of the day, but that doesn't mean I can call out zoraster for using a site that works poorly on my home computer. In addition, you have to remember that, when you're trying to speak and think at the same time, there may be delays from one part to the next. This doesn't obviate in most writing. You are making unreasonable expectations out of zoraster here.

I couldnt have said it better.

It answers why you asked the question very clearly, but it does not answer why your answering yourself (that you did not submit a vote-manipulating role) contradicts an earlier statement you made (that you submitted the Yosarianite, which is a vote-manipulating role in that it keeps one person from voting another).

I'm not following your train of thought here. I felt like I was just setting it up for his wagon to easily be disbanded, when I feel he has been the scummiest player in the game. Do you not see how me helping him would conflict with what I felt I needed to do, lynching the scummiest player? Because, if you don't, I'm all ears.
Now

If your read on Olinea is different from mine, fine, but remember that role is not indicative of alignment,
ESPECIALLY
not here. We eventually proved he was telling the truth, but the test failing would have confirmed him as fakeclaiming scum, which would have meant your read was right. It may still be.

I am voting you for claiming that you submitted the Yosarianite role, which prevents one person from voting another, but later claiming you did not send a vote-manipulating role. Lynch All Liars.
populartajo wrote:i know you are a well reasoner so this is not looking for you, did you miss the massive explanations that have been provided, even the guy who supposedly "caught" this has apologized for not understanding what I was doing and confusing it with a contradiction?

Top 3 town: Olinea and ender241 are the only two people on whom I've had a strong town read. Forced to pick a third name, I'd say Plum.

Ok so the first post is SC explaining why he is voting populartajo. Stupid reason but whatever. The second post is populartajo defending himself and saying that WIM has already backed off his "catch" because he was wrong. Derp!
I already agreed with PT that the reason for asking if anyone had submitted a vote-manipulating role made perfect sense.
I am not bothered by the question itself or the motive behind it.
However, I have yet to come up with an explanation of how populartajo thought the Yosarianite wasn't a vote-manipulating role. My vote's not going anywhere until I see it. Again, Lynch All Liars.

Hold on, I don't understand this list. You have me as Town and Tajo as scum. If that were the case, wouldn't the best move for tajo been keeping quiet about sending in the Yosarianite role?
I am not a strategy expert and I don't see how one of claiming submitting the Yosarianite role and shutting up about it is preferable to the other as scum. Explain in further detail, please.

Fishythefish wrote:@SC: you're voting tajo for his supposed contradiction. If you actually read what happened, it's pretty clear that the spirit of his question was "did anyone submit anything other that Yosarianite that could explain theses goings-on?", and so his response of "no" isn't a lie.
Then he should have mentioned "other than the Yosarianite". I'll allow the benefit of the doubt, but it messes me up if things are not crystal clear. UNVOTE: populartajo and switch back to a VOTE: Internet Stranger.

There are no hard and fast "rules" to scumhunting, only guidelines, and Lynch All Liars has its exceptions. Kokusho's Gambit is one of them, and certainly there are others of which people can think.

Oh dear God, posts like this are worse than Osama bin Laden.
NEVER
refuse to post or explain a case on someone just because you think the person is scum. That's counterintuitive.

And yes, I read on after what you posted. All I got out of it was circumstantial evidence.

Way to be cheap about buddying to another player. The object of the game is to kill off the scum, not to appease to everybody.

You just did two things: 1.) prove that you had no reason to suspect Xalxe and 2.) made it easy to answer Plum's question to me in her video at 1:17 asking if I still have a town read on you: No.

Wait, despite Amrun's response, didn't the mods say submitted roles have to work as either town or scum?

A standard cop, not unless there are multiple scumteams. I sent in a role cop, though.
Warning flares errywhere in here. Didn't like the "multiple scumteams" speculation the first time I saw it and the "Mafia C" strongly indicates SC's flip will likely be a Mafia B or Mafia C.

Vote: StrangerCoug
I feel I made a reasonable deduction here. A standard cop only makes sense in a multiball because roles have to work for both town and scum, and I don't see how my post indicates that I took the possibility very seriously.

"Assuming he's scum"? You clarify the rest, but this part of the post is still weird. Why are you softening it?
