Rules:
1. This is a game. Don’t break the game. That means no quoting role PMs (paraphrasing is fine), no invisible/hidden/hard to read text (spoilers are fine), no talking about the game outside of provided quicktopics, no editing/deleting, and if you find a loophole that allows you to break the game, don’t do that either. Also, don’t pretend to be me – I post in

2. Those of you with quicktopics may post in them only at night.
3. Be civil. I do not tolerate the use of “gay” or “retard” as slurs. Be civil. I do not tolerate the use of “gay” or “retard” as slurs.
4. Please vote in bold in the following format: Vote: smargaret. You must unvote before voting a new player. Use of the VOTE: and UNVOTE: tags is encouraged but not required.
5. Lynches will be accomplished by majority vote. If a majority has not been reached by deadline, there will be no lynch. You may also choose to Vote: No Lynch if you so desire.
6. Votes and unvotes will not be counted once a lynch threshold has been reached. If you are the target of a lynch, you may continue to post until I reveal your role and post a modscene.
7. If you die as a result of a night kill, you are allowed one “bah” post.

11 players have confirmed!

The sun rises one the peaceful little village, and the villagers rise, expecting another day just like any other.

But today is not a day like any other.

It is a small child who notices it first, the absence of the town's mayor and only police officer. Curious, the townspeople set out to investigate, but the horror they find will not soon be forgotten. The mayor is lying in his bed, looking for all the world as if he were only asleep, but he has been shot, brutally, right through the head. The villagers rush to the home of the police officer, fearful of what they will find when they arrive. As they feared, he is dead as well - but he was torn limb from limb and mauled viciously.

A panic sweeps the town. "What are we to do?" asks one villager. "We are in danger from both the mafia and the werewolves!"

A messenger is sent to the nearby monastary and masonic lodge. The residents of each come down to join the townspeople in their hunt for the murderers. "We know the monks are not werewolves, and we know the masons are not mafia," another villager suggested. "So let's use what little information we have and hunt down these vile creatures!"

To clarify the setup: There are two mafia members and two werewolves. One mafia member may or may not be a monk. One werewolf may or may not be a mason. Magnetic's vote does not count as it was neither bolded nor within the VOTE: tags. Please do not discuss ongoing games in this thread.

A lynch has happened!

Suspicions immediately begin to fly around the town, seemingly at random. Nobody is safe from the suspicious glares of their friends and neighbors. Finally, all eyes turn to focus on one: parknourie.

"What? NO! You can't do this! You know me, I'm no killer!"

His pleas fall on deaf ears, however, and Budja sneaks up from behind and savagely bashes parknourie on the head with a hammer.

"There, now that that's taken care of, we can sleep easily tonight." Budja wipes the blood from his hands, and turns to go.

"Wait ..." another villager says. "Parknourie wasn't mafia. Or a werewolf. He has no gun, no weapon of any sort - and he has no wolf-skin belt."

"He was just a plain vanilla townie, like he said."

The villagers, realizing that they had just savagely murdered an innocent person, leave the scene hastily. Everyone knows that tonight will not be easy - who will they find dead in the morning?

Dawn breaks. The sun rises on the no-longer peaceful village, and the townspeople emerge, anxious to see who has survived the night.

Parknourie's usual place in the village square is empty, of course, except for the bloodstain that hasn't yet washed away. There is another vacant spot, however, and the villagers immediately begin trying to figure out who it belongs to, who has gone missing in the night.

God Is Dead is nowhere to be found.

The villagers rush to his home. The door has been broken in. The furniture is torn to pieces. The kitchen is trashed. Finally, the villagers reach his bedroom. Blood slowly drips from the ceiling, from the walls, from every surface in the room.

God is Dead is dead.

The villagers search his room, finding a set of monk's robes and little else. "The poor man," one villager says. "What are we going to do now?"

"We're going to find the scum that did this. And then we're going to give them what they gave him," another shot back. And with that, the villagers return to the town square, ready to exact revenge.

God is Dead, town monk, has been savagely mauled to death.

Day 2 begins now.

StrungOver, if playing with aaah400 is something you didn't want to do, you should have said something in the queue. I will replace you if you'd like, but I won't replace someone for their behavior in another game.

That said, I will not tolerate those types of jokes, and aaah make any rape, retard, or gay jokes in this thread after this post, he will be replaced.\

A lynch has been reached!

Almost immediately, the town rounds on aaah400. "You did it!" they cry. "You're the one responsible for the murders!"

"No, it was you! And you! And you!" aaah400 wildly points at the crowd, flinging accusations left and right.

"Actually, we're pretty sure it's you."

"You guys are stupid anyway. You don't know what you're talking about. Screw you all." aaah400 begins to stalk off, but collapses before she's gone more than 50 feet.

"Sorry about that. He was cheating. You don't want him in your town." A stranger appears behind aaah400's unconscious body. "Replace him, smite him, lynch him, whatever you'd like, but he's outta here." The stranger fades away into the mist, leaving the villagers alone in the square.

"Eh, he's scum anyway. Let's just kill him and be done with it." Someone produces a knife, and aaah400 is swiftly dispatched.

"Well, that was easy. What was he, anyway?" one villager asks.

The villagers search the body, but they can't find anything of note - and the search of aaah400's house comes up similarly empty.

"You're kidding, he wasn't part of this? Oh well, he was still a jerk." And with that, the villagers return to their houses, satisfied that their small home will be a more civil and honest place, if not necessarily a safer one.

aaah400, Vanilla Town, had his throat slashed day 2.

The next morning, the villagers begin to emerge from their homes, fearful of what has happened in the night. Today, there is not a single empty place in the village square - there are two.

The villagers rush first to the home of Budja. The door is ajar, and a nervous wave sweeps through the crowd.

"He always locked his door," said one.

"The lock is broken - it looks like it was shot out," replies the person closest to the door.

The villagers decide to investigate further. Calling out for Budja to answer. "Maybe he's asleep!" someone shouted.

"No, there's no way he's asleep," came a voice from the kitchen. "Look at this."

Budja was slumped over the table, his face flat in the bowl of stew before him. Blood was spattered behind his body, but he - unlike the victim of the previous night - was not mauled. When the villagers examined his corpse, they found two small holes - one in his forehead and one in his chest. They searched the home; he had no gun, no wolf's fur belt, nothing to indicate his membership in either the local masonic or monastic order.

More anxious than ever now, the villagers rush to the home of StrungOver. This time, there is no doubt that he is dead - his corpse is in the entryway, as though he had been ambushed upon entering the home. The scene is so gruesome that nobody wants to stay for long - especially not after they notice the gun in his hand. "He was a member of the mafia!" they exclaimed. "He was one of the people responsible for these mysterious deaths!"

With this small measure of revenge, the villagers set to finding the remaining villains with renewed enthusiasm.

Budja, Vanilla Town, was shot in cold blood.
StrungOver, Mafia Goon, was savaged.

Day 3 begins; no more talking in quicktopics.

Once again the villagers turn on each other, flinging accusations left and right. One name keeps coming up, though, and that name is flinter.

"It's not me! I'm innocent!"

"Yeah, right. I bet you are," SnakePlissken says. He grabs for the hammer and swings - but flinter dodges out of the way.

"But I'm telling the truth! I bet it's you - you're the scum." Flinter continues to dodge.

"I don't believe you," SnakePlissken responds, and this time the hammer finally connects.

After everyone has settled down, the villagers examine the body - and once again, find nothing of note.

As the sun peaks over the horizon, the villagers warily leave their homes. They know that their days are growing short - unless magically the mafia and werewolves have killed each other during the night, in fact, they will not live out the day. Once again, two people are missing from the morning assembly: HackerHuck and ThAdmiral.

The villagers head to HackerHuck's home first. The hall is filled with the obvious signs of a struggle - but they are relieved to note that HackerHuck's gun is lying next to his hand. They also notice for the first time that he is wearing the traditional habit of a monk.

The villagers then rush to ThAdmiral's home, hoping to find that he too was responsible for some of the deaths - but as they search futilely for a wolfskin belt, their hopes are dashed. When TwistedSpoon points out the masonic ring on ThAdmiral's finger, SnakePlissken points out that the other two surviving villagers have disappeared.

"I have a bad feeling about this ..." he begins.

Indeed, he should be worried, because moments later two enormous wolves burst through the front door. After the carnage is over, the wolves twitch and revert to their human form.

"I think we managed that quite well," says MrTrow.

"Indeed," replies andrew94.

And that was the end of the little village in the mountains.

HackerHuck, Mafia Monk, was eaten!

ThAdmiral, Town Mason, was shot!

TwistedSpoon, Vanilla Townie, and SnakePlissken, Town Mason, were endgamed!

The werewolves win!
