UNVOTE: Idiotking

D'oh I knew I'd forget something. It's 7 to lynch right now, and that information will be included in VC's from now on.

1. When are you most likely to be posting?
2. How would you describe your play style?
1) All day really. I have comp access during the week almost constantly; weekends are more busy, but I'll get posts in.
2) For the most part, I comment on things as they happen. I'll quote one post, make a comment and leave. Wall-o-texts aren't my style.

Yes. That was precisely the idea.

1. How could you have possibly thought that he was in lynch-range? That sounds suspiciously bad at counting.
2. What does "idiotscum quickhammah range?" mean exactly?
This goes to both you and Jahudo:

First off, I thought this was 6 to lynch, so sorry about that. Second, I wouldn't say three scum is out of the question. Third, with three votes and three potential non-scum on, plus the presence of several...sub-par players in this game, I was worried, that's all. I didn't want a Random Voting Lynch.

I agree with Cecily. I think this claim has put us in a weird position, but there are really only a few options today.

Option 1: Lynch voidedmafia today

If he's scum, pappums is both clear and an obv nightkill target.
If he's town, pappums is the D2 lynch.

Option 2: Lynch pappums rat today

If he's scum, voided is most likely town, unless this is a fucking brilliant gambit.
If he's town one-shot cop, voided is mafia.
If he's vanilla town, he's a moron.

Option 3: Lynch somebody else scummy

If pappums is legit one-shot cop and voided is mafia, scum have to keep him alive or out voided as mafia.
If both are town, pappums dies, voided is mislynched.
If both are scum...???

To me, the best plan appears to be a voided lynch, as we're more likely to catch scums. VOTE: voidedmafia

pappums: Lynching you is/was an option where we believe you are liarscum, so we lynch you to test. Obviously this is sub-optimal.

Also, voided's defense is...better than I expected, actually. He hasn't laid down without a fight.

jeez pappums, and here I thought we had a scum wrapped up 100%. Now it's only, like 50% or so.

My reaction: pappums is town. If he were scumgambiting, he would have no reason not to let the wagon run its course and then claim "lol insane cop my bad lololololol." So yeah.

Voided...is iffy, I really need to reread his postings.

Also, UNVOTE: Voidedmafia

neil1113 wrote:Xalxe, your argument seems to be "it's TOO scummy to actually be a scum move." That's a fallacy, and it's one you (if you're town) need to be VERY careful to avoid. It's not town oriented, and you can't possibly clear him because "he did such a stupid, anti-town move that he can't possibly actually be scum (anti-town)." As scum in my previous games, there's been certain instances where I SPECIFICALLY did something (like completely push for a day 1 lynch on one of my partners who wasn't active at all that game) that if you thought about it, there's no way I being scum would actually do it. But I did, and I did it to bring out that exact reaction. The town bought onto it, and I rode my way to a victory. Don't be so close minded to do it this time with him, Xalxe.
No, my argument is that there is no scum motivation. Rather the opposite of what you're arguing.
Voidedmafia wrote:Quite frankly, I'm ticked off (or pissed, if you don't mind that) that andrew has so far made nearly no sense whatsoever in his posts. The only two that made any amount sense recently are the post asking me to claim, and the post that says that neighborizers aren't always town-aligned.

If he'd try to make sense with this case against you, then I wouldn't be so up about it.
PROTIP: andrew94 is what we folks refer to as a Village Idiot (VI). Easy vig-target please.

I don't think that's necessarily true in this case. Scum could easily hop on the wagon and then say "lol I followed the cop, not my fault!" I get that usually, but in this case I think it's null at best.
