My second favorite number is 13. I've noticed you stole it, mafia steal things.

1. None, this is my first game of Mafia.
2. I am 18.
3. Town seems like more of a challenege because your playing the game blind. But mafia seems like it would be fun too, allowing one to fool people all game. Not really sure which I would perfer untill I try them both out.
4. My greatest suspicion at this point would probably be Panda, but I can't really find too much to go off of at this point.
I would also like an answer to tarsonisocelot's question. You should answer the questions too Grey.-

Since not too much seems to be going on in this game so far I'll attempt to build a case.
FOS: Panda
In the beginning of the game panda seemed one of the most eager to play because he voted the person who took too long to confirm, in order to let out his frustration. In response to question three (would you rather pull scum or town?) he responds in favor of scum. This leads me too believe he would be anxious and excited to start to play if he pulls scum, which is how he acted at the beginning of this game.-

My main reason for not voting for you is a lack of evidence; my reasoning behind suspecting you is particularly weak, definitely not enough to place you at one vote away from being lynched. In retrospect, my unvote was unnecessary. However, at the time, everyone else had removed their random votes and I noticed mine was the only one left, I assumed it was just the end of the RVS. I figured it was time to get rid of it as it served no purpose.-

I'm still pretty unsure of what to look for, so that’s the reason my list of suspicions is low. Then find a vote that has purpose. Is panda your only suspect? If so, why is everybody else reading town to you?
Traveller caught my attention in the beginning with his rhetoric. That made him seem pro-town to me, because I mafia would not want to make themselves stand out from the crowd.
For the same reason, King seems town to me. A mafia changing their vote like that does not seem likely to me.
Grey proposed the list of questions, which showed initiative in looking for town. Same with Nacho.
Thil, Tars and Bri have not done anything suspicious but haven’t caught my attention being pro-town either.
I forgot to bold it.
Vote panda-

To answer Nacho: I vote him no because I realized not having a vote at all benefits the town in no way. Panda is still my strongest suspicsion and since my vote no longer placed him at L-1 I decided to vote for him.
Tars. The people who I find suspicious... Panda, obviously. Also, you and thil. At the bottom of my last post I gave my reason why. I think Bri is town soley on gut hunch. So panda, tars and thil.-

I believe claiming town that early in the game is scummy becuase it lacks a purpose and does not help the town at all, since scum will also claim town, while making it sound like the poster mainly has his or her own survival as their primary interest in the game.-

It does not mean they just want to survive, only that it makes it sound like survival is their primary interest. I believe that because claiming town that early provides no other benefits but trying to improve your survival chances.tarsonisocelot wrote:
I believe it is null because it is the only role people would realistically be willing to claim on page 1. I do not follow your train of thought - how would claiming to be town on the first page mean that you just wanted to survive?Sn1pe29 wrote: I believe claiming town that early in the game is scummy becuase it lacks a purpose and does not help the town at all, since scum will also claim town, while making it sound like the poster mainly has his or her own survival as their primary interest in the game.

Your vote accomplishes neither of those things though. You're not seriously suspecting her of being scum, the only reason you voted for her was because no one had pressured her yet. Also, she has nothing to defend her self from, you have made no accusations against her.Traveller wrote:
This game is tougher than if we were playing face-to-face - no body language, no tone of voice, no facial expressions to help discern the scum. I voted for tarson for two reasons, because no one has seriously suspected her of being scum before (again, I suspect partly because she is female), and to draw her out an (maybe) force her to defend herself.Herodotus wrote:Traveller, I like that you're taking a look at a player who hasn't received much suspicion. But I question whether you're voting her because you think she's mafia, or just to make the votes more rounded.
