It depends what you mean by 'kamikaze.' Roles with the goal of dying, perhaps to take down some other role, have been used before, but they tend not to be scum, per se, just neutral characters with totally different goals. I believe I've seen a scum role in which the final person to vote for his lynch ended up getting killed, as well. So that might constitute a kamikaze scum role. And, of course, none of these are on the "normal list of roles," but this isn't classified as a normal game, so they needn't be.

I agree that the CA action falls under the category dubious play, but I don't think scum would try this.

I'm going for Roadbird right now, mainly because I don't like post 257.

, if only for bad play. I'll have to take a closer look at him later, along with everyone else on the bandwagon. One thing I am particularly curious about is those players that didn't post at all between CA's post on the 12th (denying he had an investigation) and FD's death on the 17th: PeaceBringer (dead scum), Fritzler, and Coron. Both Fritzler and Coron were active during those five days, I find the lack of comment disturbing. (Could also throw in Roadbird here, who posted but didn't address CA's comment.)
Why? It didn't change anything. I was pretty sure he didn't have an investegation.

Uhm....

Wouldn't it be a better idea to get some people talking iso lynching a townie without any reason accept putting in ninth vote?

Imo I did exactly what I said I would do. I followed a bandwagon.

I believe he's trying to discredit you for pretending to have a guilty investigation, not simply because you voted to lynch someone who wasn't scum. And while the sharp tone of it is uncharacteristic of DP, I totally agree with the sentiment.

Here's the deal: I'm still not on reliable access, but I've found a place I can actually log on to the site from. My participation will be sporadic, and late (CST) - please bear with me as I await the valiant ITS people to solve my problems.

That being said, I'll be back on later tonight. I just don't have the time now.

The runup on RoadBird is moving kind of fast... [/Zippy]

Looking at how the votes settled, I'm going to throw out that there's probably at least one more baddie on the lynch train.

Right now I'm going for the vote, unvote, hammer, in a short span of time -

I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention to the game.

Have read all the pages quickly now.

Roadbird is suspicious on quick glance. Later a better argumentation (and maybe more..!). Gotta get home now.

inHim, I can't fault DP for what he did yesterday. FD was dead anyway, and was suiciding. (I do agree that there is likely at least one more scum on that wagon, I just don't see any strong reason to suspect DP over anyone else, including you.)

Fritzler, I sometimes forget that there are players that just jump on any bandwagon that forms. So, for now, I will withdraw my objection that the three of you didn't comment after CA's statement. I am tempted to vote for you on the grounds that your constant bandwagoning works against the town. But I'm not ready for a vote yet, so you just get an
FOS
.

VisMaior, any particular reason you voted for Pooky?
