I totally realized that was prooobably what it stood for on my way home from work, but it was an acronym I had not seen before.MrTrow wrote: for confusing unicorns by speculating about a point-by-point-analysis

I did not say I wanted to extend it, I simply asked if lane was getting impatient. I think RVS is a good thing to be able to look back on. I don't, however, think that you can tell who is obvscum and obvtown by post #24.ThAdmiral wrote:

I think this is SORT of useful once the cop has a few investigations under his belt. Give them a couple days and then when they feel the time is right, or when they are in danger, we can jump to a follow the doc type situation. It's more helpful when they know a bit too. But until then the cop AND the doc, for that matter, should not be claiming.mozamis wrote:btw, this is my first basic 12 player open. so looked it up in the wiki. And saw the "follow the cop" thing. what do people think about that. AND NO I AM NOT ASKING FOR CLAIMS,just what people think about the general idea -good idea or not?
And @ Mozamis, I've heard that 12 player tends to be a little unfair to scum unless they can catch a PR, that's why I've always thought it would be more balanced if there was a Mafia Role Blocker.-

=( Giving up so soon?mozamis wrote:looks like i am for the chop
could we have a vote count please mod?
Vote count is updated on the first post of every page. You are at L-3.
I actually have the opposite experience in games. I for one think that more people enjoy scum positions and PRs and are therefore less likely to drop out. Plus, I've had to drop out of games, regardless of my role, due to real life circumstances. SO I understand where you are coming from but I don't think it's quite the reason to cause a lynch so early in.
@Nacho, after being gone for 4 days do you have any input other than seemingly randomly throwing out names? You could at least give a little reasoning with all of your reads. I suspect you are just trying to gauge reactions and that is your way of scum hunting, yes?-

I was inclined not to agree with nacho on the Kingpin vote, but his lack of argument is really sad. Thank you for posting your reads Nacho. I see where you are coming from on most of them, but the only person I'm sure is town is Mozamis, based on her follow the cop suggestion.
I have strong town reads on Iecerint, Nacho and Ranger. Nacho may not do things the way I normally would agree with, but he IS scum hunting and I think he is right that we have found scum.
I was inclined to vote Lane with Mozamis, but the fact that Kingpin did not come up with any sort of an argument kind of drove that nail home. We also have 2 players who have not posted in 6 days. At this point it doesn't look like either of them have been back to site in a while so I don't think they are "lurking scum". Just people who abandoned site.
It does make me a slight bit uneasy how Nacho is in such a hurry to lynch him, but I can't disagree that Kingpin is probably our best lynch at this point.
And no, I haven't really done as much scum hunting as you have, Nacho, but it is only page 6, and I am asking questions to gauge where people are at. I haven't really had any responses that I wasn't happy with, and to be quite honest, I hate D1.
UNVOTE:
VOTE: KingPin-

Speaking of which.@Mod: Do we have any word on the Hero or Lynchking spots?
Hero replied to my prod. If he doesn't post in thread by Wednesday I will see about replacing him. Still looking for a lynchking replacement.Last edited by saporovirus on Tue Apr 12, 2011 4:10 am, edited 1 time in total.-

Ah! Mr Trow pulled out a WIN! I'm impressed, I thought for sure once follow the cop started that it was hopeless. I'll be the first to say Mr Trow pretty much won the game for maf. It was fun to watch at least, too bad I couldn't have been around longer...
not for lack of trying
And yes, if Empking hadn't stepped in I was just waiting for everyone to vote No Lynch again just to delay it another longer. Darn, you ruined the fun for me.-
