And here I thought we were dealing with a game of informed minority versus uninformed majority. Simple scum pm usually leads to maximum alignment knowledge in a Newbie Game.

My, my. Somebody's getting feisty over one vote. Frosty being the main wagon at the moment indicates that people obviously do care about his shenanigans.

For people who haven't yet noticed and who have yet to post: We're already steering into srz bzns, so don't pretend otherwise.

Hold your horses there.

No need for L-1 with several people not having said anything.

Twisted, why did you answer something that was obviously aimed at jindori? On that note, what do you think of jindori so far?

Alright, what's all this then here, eh?
KittyMo wrote:Making unneccessarily vague posts is the key to victory? I'm not quite so sure about that.
It takes all kinds, doesn't it? ;)

First off, ajolin's #68 and #69 are just terribad. He comes in with a vote on Ray (RVS? Or maybe the biggest wagon from where he left off reading?) only to switch over to the biggest wagon, putting him at L-1, with a lot of words but zero reasons. Lots of scumminess in this one.

From what I've seen so far of the Ray and Twisted exchange, this is usually town vs. town. There's a lot of "No U!" and "tunneling" going on because both are simply convinced the other is scum and they're doing everything to prove themselves right, no matter how much stubbornness is needed for that.
Twisted comes out worse in the exchange, but then again Ray is the more experienced player.

Where #103 ranks in the greater context, remains to be seen.

ajolin's lining up lynches continues his saying bad things streak. We do not line up lynches without info. We do not draw connections between two players and treat them as confirmed without any flips. We do not offer ourselves as lynches if we are town.

pedit: *facepalm*

Alright, let me stop here about ajolin. Post's getting long enough as it is. Just a couple of things and then I'll jump back in on a regular basis.

- There is way, way too much setup speculation and far too little scumhunting going on in this thread.

- KittyMo: Quick question. Why do you put things into spoiler tags that are a) obviously relevant to your post and b) include your own responses instead of simple rehashings of old things? It's really irritating.

- What do scum like to do, when there's a huge One-on-one going on? They're staying under the radar and slipping on one of the wagons.

- Voidedmafia is happily joining every setup discussion but has done zero scumhunting so far.

It's also a super way to appear active, a good way to not mess up and a nice way to avoid scumhunting.

@ajolin
Why would you wanna die? Bored of the game? Or are you simply penitent scum?

@Ray
I always look at the intent. You can be wrong in your reads, you can be wrong in your way of scumhunting. But the most important thing as town is that you try to work to find scum. And Twisted comes off as town who's trying badly to prove to anybody that he's found scum in you. And toxic.

Who do you find shady apart from Twisted?

Voidedmafia wrote: As for your accusation, I'm simply focusing on dissuading Ajol and anyone else of that course of action. I tend to focus on one subject at a time, but please don't take it like I'm not trying to scumhunt
Then by all means, do everyone a favor and start scumhunting.

Also, I said it's town vs. town because they did resort to tunneling and "No U". Just look at Ray, he's so tunneled into twisted that he completely lacks of other reads.

@Ray
According to your Iso, one might get the feeling your read on toxic is more than "slightly townish". Any reason why you left Kitty and me out of your null fest?

A propos, Kitty: Good to see you back. IC input always appreciated.

You weren't afraid to put toxic at L-1 in your second post. Seems contradictory to your caution now.
As a general rule, don't be afraid of voting to make a statement. And Voided is an especially good place to make a statement.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I got my own Newbie Game to prepare :D

My point is that your focus on Twisted has hindered you in getting clearer reads on other people.

Did anyone get a town read from Voided's unnecessarily long rehash of the game that is nothing more but building up a case on Twisted based on hipocrisy, and fencesitting on everything else?

The effort is immense, I'll give you that. But then again, momentum seems to be shifting towards a Voided wagon. Better to start showing some effort now before it's too late.

Anyway, I'll wait for the others to join in the discussion for now.

Lurking doesn't help either alignment.

As scum, you will be called out on it sooner or later.

As town, you get of your way on getting your opinions out. In return it's harder to get a read on you. And that will cast suspicion on you.

Voidedmafia wrote:Well, if you actually bothered to look at the quotes from Ray I linked, there's your answer -_-.

And Kitty asked me for elaboration on what I thought of the whole Toxic argument, and I gave it. You also asked (well, told) me to scumhunt, and I just did. If you would like me to give my reads, you can ask a little bit nicer.

And, mind telling me where exactly the momentum for my wagon is coming from? Only vote on me is yours.
I don't want quotes by Ray. I want to hear it from you and in your own words. And keep it concise, please.

Yes, I'm not asking people in a game of mafia to scumhunt, I'm telling them to. Dealwithit.

If three people were voting you right now, it would be already a wagon and not momentum.

@David
What Ray said. Any posts that substantiate your reads?

Input by Toxic and Twisted is in order, I think we all agree on that. Also, jindori seems to be slipping under the radar.

@jindori
How up to date is you ajolin vote? In your scenario you claim our best bet would be to vote Twisted today. So why's your vote not on him? Also, do you think it's wise to line up lynches on Day 1? And do you think it's wise to base your hopes on a cop in the setup?

pedit:
Why, thank you, ajolin! But you should really finish that re-read and give us your opinions as unbiased as possible.

Jindori, answer the questions in #197, please. Additionally, is it pressure you want or are you content with a lynch now that you've put him at L-1? What games of Ray are you referring to seeing you haven't played a game with him so far (unless you're an alt >_>)?

Voidedmafia looks better for now. It looks like a sincere case on Twisted.

Kittymo, time to make some statements. Your game so far has been sort of passive and cautious. And your vote on Xanatos looks like a safely parked vote in the middle of nowhere considering you haven't addressed Xanatos in quite some time. Still happy with that vote?

And you didn't answer my question whether you would be okay with seeing Twisted getting lynched soon.

Ajolin, playing for fun and taking this game lightly does not mean it's fun for the others if you ruin the game for them. Something to think about.

Oh, a chainsaw? I feel flattered. GG Ray and Voided.

Thanks for modding, Tasky.
