Emp: No, I'm positive you're scum for doing some of the things we've done PLUS some other things we haven't done. You seem to be so focused on the fact that we're finding you scummy for something we've also done that you're ignoring the scummy things that you've done that we haven't.
Pine: It's not, Pie just holds an unhealthy grudge against you that I can't seem to break him of. Zeus knows he's gone on in IRC about it far more than I'd like to hear.

Like being second on a Pine wagon. Oh waitb that can't be it. What scummy thing did I do and not you?TwoHeadedBoy wrote:Emp: No, I'm positive you're scum for doing some of the things we've done PLUS some other things we haven't done. Mainly because you're the one talking.
And you're scum.
We've had like not-EmpKing for four days, a day of you being irritatingly wrong isn't gonna convince me that you're town.
May I ask why you're being deliberately anti-town?Can we wait for the remaining twits to claim before the finger pointing starts?
(Seriously is it too much to ask that at least one other player (even before we get to scumhunting) not needing another round in the newbie queue. Wraith telling scum what to claim was bad enough, then THB and C-Worl decided that half-way through a Massclaim was the best time to get out of the woodwork without you playing like this.)Plus, if you guys want to make a point, skip the walls, because everyone else in the game does as well. - Magister Ludi-

Why did you answer your own question and then dismiss it as though that wasn't it?Empking wrote:

Clever (if it worked), but I'm not going to let you slide that easy.
If you want reasons other than that Pine vote with the 6 person wagon then I also don't like the safe"ish" Pine vote Day 1, and that has nothing to do with us. Your play style in general factors into the vote and that has no relation to the VCA. You're unhelpful and not vocal until you have suspicion and then you're overly aggressive and OMGUSy. Definitely a common scum play-style I've noticed over a lot of games.

Unless you want to argue that my vote belonging to scum would cause the Day 2 wagon to speed up (compared to if my vote was town) then the fasct that you were also the second vote on a Pine wagon is a very real factor.TwoHeadedBoy wrote:

The competing wagon that had every chance of going through is now a "safe"ish"" vote now? I guess with VCA anything goes.

I would like to again register suspicion of Hiraki, for reasons already stated. Further, he seems to be the definition of an active lurker in this thread, while I know for a fact he is being active elsewhere on site."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

What the hell are you talking about nothing in that post is WIFOM. Hiraki has been lurky but posting elsewhere, and I've already stated my reasons for suspecting him. He hasn't said much since D4 started outside the massclaim."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

You are completely disregarding any other possibility on why he could be lurking. You can't assume because he's inactive here it's cause he's scum.ShowTown 8/4

Pine wrote:And it still doesn't make any of that WIFOM. But you're probably just mis-using the term rather than intentionally mis-labeling.
It's kind of WIFOM because you are inferring motives, just like saying "X was suspicious of Y and X died, this means Y is scum!"ShowTown 8/4

You know you have the second greatest number of posts, and the most posts devoid of content, right?C-Worl wrote:

aaaaaaaaaaaaand Pine is the winner of this set. (by a pretty lofty margin too if I do say so myself)
diddin brought up no valid points and if he weren't practically cleared as town I'd find his soft defense of Hiraki rather suspicious. It's not WIFOM to infer that a scummy action, like active lurking, could mean someone is scum, bro. The example you gave of WIFOM was WIFOM, but that wasn't even remotely similar to what Pine had said. I'm stepping in to call a winner because I'm 82.6% sure that this is town v. town and nothing even resembling productive discussion/argument has come of it.
Also, C-Worl got called out big time.

That said, I'm the top poster, so...yeah. Whatever that does or does not mean.
And yeah. diddin's last few posts have made me re-consider him as "confirmed Town". I've never heard of doublevoting scum, but I'm starting to suspect him. Technically, by Normal game parameters, it's legal."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

CLAIM LIST:
Diddin = Double Voter
Wraith = Town Bodyguard
ICE = Town Neighborizor
Pine = Vanilla
C-Worl = Vanilla
Hiraki = Vanilla
TwoHeadedBoy - Vanilla
Empking - Vanilla
Silver Bullet - Vanilla
Nhamen - Vanilla
Not Claimed: Romanus, Antihero, ConfidAnon
Ok, so 7 VT claims so far. We should probably focus on them for the time being.
The case on Emp is very nice but I do agree with Emp's logic that THB is suspicious for the same logic. Though THB has been more active throughout the game than Emp (except when Emp is under the microscope)
Silver Bullet seems a bit over eager at times but seemed to provide a good case against Rom. Pine's been tunneling on me in both games I'm playing with him. Not sure if that's just a clash of our play styles or what but it's starting to look scummier to me. Of course, I say that in reservation bc Calcifer flipped town.
Hiraki came in like yay, and saw what I saw in Calc at the time. Then after the first night kill he seemed to agree with ICE that Calc prolly wasn't scum. Yet, at the end he had gone back to thinking Calc scum. Also, the way the player before him played was suspicious in it's own right.
I don't really know about Nhamen. He just doesn't feel right but I don't really have much for a case against him.
And of course, I'm Vanilla as well so if you want a case against me, go ask Pine for one of his many.Show... Even when C-worl is providing no content, C-worl is providing no content. Feat considered impressive. ...
