Yeah I messed up with the balance of this game when I reacted to miscounting the number of /in'd players (remembering that it was even numbers but forgetting that mislynch wise it was essentially night start).
I think that everyone played well with the scum that weren't Cobblerfone managing to avoid suspicion throughout and with scum know when to bus and when not to.

Mafia:

You, XXX and YYY make up Cthulhu. You can’t speak with each other ever but you know that you’re on the same side. You have (as a group) two abilities.
Any player that takes an action during the night dies.
During the day one of you can PM me with a target for your day kill. You have one day kill per day.
You win if only your faction remains.
Town:
1 Player
You have delved into things that man was not meant to delve into. Therefore you are a Cop. You may investigate a player each night and will be told if they are “Scum” or “Not Scum”
You win if the scum are eliminated.
Two Players:
At least you know one other sane voice during this wretched time. Actually, where is he? You are a Seeking Mason. Each night send me a PM with a name. If they are the player that you seek then you’ll be able (starting from the next night) to talk to them. You will also have their alignment confirmed to you.
You win if the scum are eliminated.
1 Player
You knew the horrors (the horrors) that were coming. You saw it in the stars, but it’s too late for that now, you’ll have to put your telescope to better use. You are a Watcher. Each night, send me a PM with a target. You will be informed of any actions that that player made.
You win if all the scum are eliminated.
2 Players:
You are The Cop’s Nephew. If the Cop dies then you’ll be able to read his notes and continue the work he started. To be clear, you are a Deputy who knows that there exists one and only one cop in this set up.
You win if all anti-town factions are destroyed.
3 Players:
Oh goodness! What have you done! Why oh why would you do that! Now almost all your comrades are dead and why? For something that doesn’t care for no man! Formerly cultists; you are now a Mason along with XXX and ZZZ. You know each other to be town and can talk to each other at night.

Wouldn't it always be in the towns best interest to policy lynch one of them once they claim? If you force someone scummy to hammer, you not only check the claim, but you get rid of the scummy player as well.
