Whooooooooooooa Katsuki. What's the deal? LLD and Katsuki jumped on me hard for one post:
Surye wrote:Woah, Fate at L-3 already? There must be some meta I am missing
During RVS everyone is talking about Fate, fake dayvigging fate, etc, etc. I have no idea what's going on, and I post. Suddenly OBVSCUM!!!1!!!
I like Nopoint's analysis of GI:
GreyICE wrote:BTW
My genre is "Epic Cover Rock"
I'm wondering based on the two roles we see up there if the scum is non-Rock music.
Or am I totally off base?
Pretty hardcore fishing right here.
GreyICE wrote:Lady Lambdadelta wrote:Glass wrote:Well, I am a rock-rap blend so it is possible. Is anyone NOT rock?
Also, can we not flavor speculate on Day 1? Thanks~
I'm honestly just curious if anyone isn't rock.
And he pushes harder...
GreyICE wrote:Lady Lambdadelta wrote:
GI, you seriously want to start this game on my scum list?
This isn't a pro town question. At the VERY best it's null. In any case, it shouldn't be answered.
I honestly don't care. I'm curious, and I want it answered.
And harder (note, he says he doesn't care, just curious, then demands an answer, sounds pretty disingenuous.
GreyICE wrote:Katsuki wrote:@Grey: I suggest you divert your efforts elsewhere. LLD and I are alignment confirmed masons.
Hmmm? I'm just curious if everyone is Rock or if there's other music genres.
Okay, last one as this quote barrage is getting obnoxious.
And his role name confirmation, assuming that's what MoI did, doesn't really tell us much. As we still don't have a clear connection between alignment and role flavor.

Well lets see. You voted for me for rolefishing afteryour own analysisconcluded that the town wouldn't give up any useful information by giving out what I was asking about. So basically you quoted a bunch of stuff, concluded it wouldn't hurt the town because there is really no discernible connection between genre and roles (which is what I suspected anyway), and then voted me.
Just because I think there's no connection doesn't mean you weren't scummy for pushing hard for it while trying to pretend like you didn't really care.

Where did I say "scum don't learn anything" or "isn't bad for the town"?
I said:
Surye wrote:And his role name confirmation, assuming that's what MoI did, doesn't really tell us much. As we still don't have a clear connection between alignment and role flavor.
Which is to say, we as town don't have a clear connection, that does not mean that scum does not. I don't see how you got that it "isn't bad for the town" or "scum don't learn anything". If anything, saying there's no clear connection, and that your ambivalent push for role information, is showing that I think it's not in towns interest, speculation is not in towns best interest, and you're twisting my words like crazy to justify a vote.-

But pray tell, demonstrate that I'm wrong. Explain what it might tell the scum.
"Dream On" - Epic Cover Rock
Funktastic Rock
Southern Artistic Rock
Rock-Rap Hybrid
"My Soul, Your Beats"
Quick, use your magic and divine something interesting that scum would definitely want to know from this information. If you can figure out concrete information scum would like to have here, then tell me and I'll self-vote and you can lynch me out of the thread.
Because if it doesn't exist, then you're FOSing me based on hypothetical magic.
Scum have shared information town does not. The fact that you KNOW this won't help, and won't even entertain the idea, are using it as a crusade against me, and say scummy things like "I'll self-vote" tells me your level of confidence can only come from information. And your push for something you are now running me up the flagpole with in TONS of your posts in this game is all the more scummy. I love my vote right now.
Glass, I'd say GI is probably the most outwardly scummy on my wagon. And he took his time getting on there till I showed some apperent "flaky"ness even though my sig has shown V/LA in Las Vegas all weekend.-

Recent flurry of posting after the wagon looks to take some form is ugly as fuck. V/LA ended the 8th, it is now the 10th. You went the entirety of the 9th without posting. Now he's blaming inactivity on the V/LA. That ended on the 8th. What happened the 9th?
Back-and-forth overall on the genre-claiming is ugly, and one of the cheaper-tricks in the book (He wants to claim something? He must be scum!), and he's actually just waffled on the issue wherever it's been convenient for him.

I articulated it just fine. I articulated what I originally said, not what you said I said.
All I originally said was that we have no idea what the role/alignment correlation is. I never said anything about how helpful/unhelpful, protown/antitown it is, but you preceded to try and make that my argument, and then argue against your false statement.-

I think you're anti-town by trying to misrepresent what I say. Also, that you are confident that the information has no relevance or anti-town aspects makes me suspect you have more information that townies have, like a scum would.-

Town tend to react more or less like Glass/LLD - either agree or disagree, but overall evaluate the intent. Scum react much much much more like Surye - "Oh, look, a nice safe scumtell I can park my vote on and do NOTHING ELSE AT ALL."

Because I've been the target of many all caps posts, with no cases. And it's frustrating to play on a L-1 wagon with no case, just LOLOL LYNCH SURYE, WE ARE CONFIRMED MASON SO EVERYONE LISTEN TO US LOLOL.
I guess at L-1, claim time:
Song: Tuesday’s Gone, by Lynyrd Skynyrd – Melancholy Southern Rock, I'm a gravedigger.
This game has gone retarded, everyone's following LLD and Katsuki off a cliff.-

This is scum wanting to comment on a wagon, but afraid to put their vote down for fear of drawing attention.
It's also a good way to draw others onto Fate's wagon, without having to incriminate yourself by being on it.
THAT'S why it's scummy.
Alright, I can see that, but I was half confused why the wagon exists, and half jokingly commenting on the WAY everyone was voting on her, hence the ":P"-

Further AGar's vote looks rather opportunistic. The grave digger claim seems a bit absurd, but scum claiming such a role would be ballsy (Wifom? maybe...)
Still, he hasn't done crap apart from defending himself.
I still like my GI analysis, though the timing made it look OMGUS, unfortunately. I did get into defensive mode, but I was trying to derail my wagon as I approached L-1, and ended up being forced to claim. It happens.
I also want to keep my Katsuki vote, the way she wagoned and pushed so hard over what I still see as a weak case was pretty scummy, and when the wagon turned on her, and her "alignment confirmed mason" turned on her, the response was way scummy to me. Looking like she doesn't really care, ";_;" post, the lack of trying to defend herself or asking what the scumtell was. This was all really bad to me.-

2nd kill on N1 was potentially Nikanor protecting a scumbag. Or an SK. Don't think vig really, although Nik has a tendency of flaking/lurking so it could have possibly been a vig shot.
Again, something else Fate has not even once considered, the weak doc function.
This is why I'm leaning Fate double-bussing scum.
Assume the NK framing.
Consider, what is more likely, Fate doublebussed, and is the scum who NKed. Or scum is someone else who NK to frame you? We have a lot of lurky players. I don't see Fate as scum in this game.
Granted, I have double bussed before as mafia and won it, but the second bus has to come later (less people alive) to be effective in my opinion.-

I don't really see the point in massclaiming yet. If AGar flips town, we might as well give remaining power roles an extra day or two to use their abilities.
I still think the vig should claim, so we know what we are hunting. If no vig, we have to find the SK.
SK could easily claim vig, though.
And we would play on that possibility.-
