Chess, don't be a dick, just because you wouldn't have made that decision in lylo (apparently), many of us would have. So calm the hell down.

I'll get in now and thank everybody for playing I had a lot of fun writing this game with Faraday and watching it play out.
But I'd also like to say a big thank you to Faraday. Unlike in aCoK in which I like to think we shared the burden of the game pretty well, Faraday did all the heavy lifting here. Real life attacked me like a fiend over the last months, I think I did like two or three vote counts and a couple of mod scenes all game. Faraday managed to run the game fantastically. So thanks buddy.

Despite the fact I agree with MoI over Chesskid.
I'm calling an end to this discussion right now. Let's discuss the game's set up, pros and cons of how people played, but lets not get into what was 8 pages of the graveyard QT of MoI and Chesskid yelling at each other.

So, just to summarise for people.

We had:

17 Lannister Aligned roles (town)
5 Stark Aligned roles (mafia)
2 Brotherhood Without Banners aligned roles (kind of a mini-scum/SK team)
1 Self aligned lyncher

Any questions on what different roles did? How they related to each other? etc

That's fine Chess, except that Shadow didn't follow a claimed result

Cow had an opportunity to hammer, twice, one of them at least was a proven opportunity as he posted without hammering.
Shadow interpreted this to mean that Cow couldn't be scum, because he would have ended the game.

I would have made the exact same assumption. As others have admitted they would.

Cow won.

Clearly whether through luck, skill or a combination of the two, he did exactly what he needed to do to win.

Also, on the topic of faking. I think Zdenek's fake claim was pretty tops.
The fact that he took a pretty damning rolecop result and turned it into something that fit perfectly in with aSoS flavour. Excellent. Because it's true, if Tyrion was killed, Tywin would have been alive by the end of the book. Faraday and I didn't forsee that when we gave Beric Dondarrion the Tywin fake claim.

Heh.

So back up roles like Nurse and Deputy, those are bad roles? This is just an extension on that.

I'm currently writing a game that revolves around town being rewarded for town dying. In my opinion it adds a self-balancing component to the game.

You can
blame
thank Faraday for the majority of those terrible
awesome
titles. Although towards the end the ghosts were asked for ideas.

Yeah, I will, possibly without Faraday due to his cult-hate, run a walkers attack the wall game. And it will be a cult game.

But this will not be FfC.

While you guys are giving us love about how fun aSoS was, let us know what your favourite characters and/or scenes were in FfC

Just a heads up, my mini-theme is coming up soon. Faraday, I expect a pre-in from you, since I'd love to have you in one of my games. Other pre-ins are also welcome.

If Faraday and I have accomplished nothing else in life, we've created a game that lead to cow's new avatar.

And that satisfies me.

The flavour component of Joffrey's role was that he's pretty shit himself, he's just s whinny sniveling brat, but people always try to get in his good books and are willing to do him favours. So he had a couple of one shot powers to represent that.

:o Spoiler!

Spoiler:
But yes, I'm looking forward to the little bastard (and technically he is a bastard, one born of incest in fact!) dying in the HBO series too. I want to see it. With my eyes.

yeah, but remember how fake claims become real claims if Varys activates the Day 3 theme?
