I call BS. He has a ton of suspicion on him already and claiming VT would not suddenly make his wagon collapse, it would probably get him lynched. So why, why, why would scum claim VT in that position?

The problem is this time he's hitting major targets with lousy reasoning, not scummy targets getting too little attention with no reasoning. And he's not doing it nearly often enough.

I still like my GI analysis, though the timing made it look OMGUS, unfortunately. I did get into defensive mode, but I was trying to derail my wagon as I approached L-1, and ended up being forced to claim. It happens.

I also want to keep my Katsuki vote, the way she wagoned and pushed so hard over what I still see as a weak case was pretty scummy, and when the wagon turned on her, and her "alignment confirmed mason" turned on her, the response was way scummy to me. Looking like she doesn't really care, ";_;" post, the lack of trying to defend herself or asking what the scumtell was. This was all really bad to me.

Kats is being attacked by Fate/LLD for thinking of two different gravedigger role variations. As far as I've gathered, that's the "scumslip." This is tantamount to :moonbeams: as a tell. Gravedigger isn't some commonly used role, and I've never actually seen the mechanic used in a game I've been in. I've only read on a few games where I've seen it as far as I can recall.

Fate's attack here reads honest, LLD is still questionable. GreyICE wandering off to attack Raivann is kinda strange for him - better options here.

ThAd, meanwhile has been acting strangely. Opening with lots of jokes and next to no content, he moves to buddying up to Surye. When Surye claims, he automatically writes it off as town, because Surye "wouldn't claim gravedigger [as scum]." (I finally figured out what the fuck those brackets mean in articles /facepalm.) He is then asked "Who would claim gravedigger as scum?" to which he responds "Gambitting people."

Really? Uhhhhh... no.

Scum claiming gravedigger is a high-risk, low-reward gambit. Too much can go wrong with a grave-digger gambit. His claim should be fairly provable in the future. A scum-gravedigger is uh... brutally OP would be the best wording I have? "Here scumbag, have all these town powers I put in to combat your team." Doc? Great pickup. Watcher? Excellent pickup. Vig? If the mod allows it, wicked pickup. Roleblock/Jailkeep? Nice pickup.

Vote Thad. Best choice. Hands down.

Then Fate jumps on her, and she offers no defense.

Also, her attacking of Surye now looks bad, because she attacked me for voting him early on, and then jumped on the wagon when Fate came in the game, trying to play to my ego saying:

The flexibility of it.

Universal Backups usually help aid against the swinginess of town PR being eliminated right at the start.

Selecting feels off for me. For example, in the game I played where my partner had this ability, he could even copy the "Innocent Child" role if he wanted to.
Copying the cop role would also be a nifty way of clearing yourself as scum.

The only factor here is that those are large theme games. I don't think the general principal of it changes though. Flexibility like this favors scum in my experience.
