I would like to contradict MoI on the Spike thing. Vampires are either a species of demon or demon-human hybrid in Buffyverse depending on who you ask.
You could certainly call them "demonic".

about Toasty:
I don't consider the claim bad, since the pressure was negligible and 2. post is soon enough.
It does however concern me that he held back his name due to lyncher fear.
It might be to make people reluctant to advocate his lynch - scummy.

Well a claimed miller acting scummy:

about LL:
His reason for voting Jason is flimsy at best, I don't see why Jason's comment on the Angel series should be a claim.
LL claiming that he is
sure
Jason is scum takes his craplogic up a notch.
And he is speculating on scumbuddies without a flip - again craplogic.

And he is rushing us into night...

Yes wouldn't we all - unfortunately trying to do that will result in town loss 9/10.

Elaboration on my reasons for voting Toasty:
I was saying I did not find his claim badly timed, a null tell.
The
only
thing I found scummy about Toasty was him throwing out the idea of a lyncher right at the moment of his claim, possibly to throw suspicion on anyone who would advocate his lynch.
But the additional reason was that he is a claimed miller-that is basically two reasons 'claimed' and 'miller'.
I didn't feel very passionately about his lynch so moved on.

@MOI about the me contradicting him on vampires being demonic and in his opinion focusing on something irrelevant:
You asked if anyone would contradict you.
I did feel like contradicting you, because I you cast suspicion on the use of the word "demonic" which I think is wrong. No doubt vampires are demonic. As far as I understand it only a handful of demons in the show are really DEMONS (the mayor, as one). Other players might take your word for it and take it as a scum tell even if you did not.
I gave my own account on what I thought of the claim so I did not focus on this contradiction.

@LLMarble:
LLMarble wrote:Threat of quicklynch produces Real Pressure (tm).

You can keep your brand of pressure, feels generic to me. Genuine Pressure (tm) comes from actually making a case why someone is scummy. Advocating quicklynch could end up with an actual quick-lynch with a VI on the trigger.

@Jason: Why on earth did you claim so early, shouldn't you protect your PM a bit? - especially since your a PR.

Guess that's twilight then. I suggest people keep all suspicions, comments and ideas to themselves until 'tomorrow'.

about possible second scum group:
Nothing in my PM suggests a second scum group but due to the mod-text I consider it likely. Makes sense in the Buffy-verse as well, vampires mostly go after the Scoobies (Buffy and friends) while the other (:-)) demons try to bring on Armageddon.

@MOI about your bad gut feeling about my question to Jason:
You ate something bad.
I had a null tell on Jason, I believed having him answer the question (about his premature claim) would give me a read.

@MOI about suggesting that I claimed/fakeclaimed Twilight:
Twilight is the common term for the time between lynch and night, it also happens to be the Big Bad of season eigth.
Do you seriously suggest that scum-me would crumb a claim/fakeclaim as a Big Bad?

about me suggesting people say nothing in twilight:
In my opinion discussion during twilight hurts town. You need to give reads during the day to come to an agreement on a lynch, but as soon as that goes through your only helping scum pick an NK/Roleblock/whatever.

about LLMarble: The fact that he pushed hard on scum has cancelled my scum read on him.

I need a re-read to find my lynch candidate.

Just wanted to say I've changed my mind about the multiscum possibility:
Sample Townie wincon wrote:You win when all those threatening to open the Hellmouth have been destroyed.

This indicates to me that
all scum
are trying to open the Hellmouth which cancels the idea that one group is trying to kill town while the other wants to open the Hellmouth.
In stead I guess we are dealing with a single group with a dual wincon, kill townies or open Hellmouth(somehow).

Why not just demon-non-demon claim? We risk outing a potential doctor by the flavour.

People, people relax take it easy, I think we are getting sloppy.
First Ethos drops the
really good idea
to let his suspects claim before result-claiming, then we jump right into mass-claiming before people can give their 2 cents and now popcorn is breaking down. And I also think we should not discuss the claims before everyone has claimed.

@Acro: Who's next to claim?

MOD: A prod for Locke

But this is really drawing out, let's just discuss.
@Ethos: Does your role indicate anything about the possibility of non-demons being scum?
@Toasty: What do you think about the 'Anya' miller claim?

Joyce Summers, VT, although I officially know about my daughter's slayer-stuff I'm basically clueless.

@Ethos: It is not really the opposite statement, just a different statement. But the fact that the mod did say demons could be town but did not say non-demons could be scum counts againt it.

Let's just end it:

GG everyone, it was a real pleasure to play with you guys.
Town was very lucky with the minionizer.
Btw, kudos to Locke for keeping his head cool.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me to improve my game?

@smargret: Good luck with the wedding, you could do a mish-mash to keep you occupied.
Btw, I agree with Slaxx, if anything the setup was favorable to scum.

@Ethos: My favorites are seasons 4 and 6, so the best is yet to come:-)
