I have not. I have two fully completed games and another one that I am dead in now. Out of those I have one scum game and two town games. I have played with these players:

My reasoning for Seraphim: I can't actually say, precisely, because [REDACTED] is an ongoing game. But his activity here SUCKS. Iso him, you'll see. Then check his other site-posts.

The other two are also lurkalicious: Let's clear out the deadwood first, and then the people who are actually CONTRIBUTING can help us find scum tomorrow.

Yosarian, re: your point on LL, it is true, I am finding the odds of her being recruited rather low right now, however I don't think she is acting very town either.

Yos2, no, never. I haven't played with many people in this game even. (I had barely completed my role in a large theme game when sign-ups for this had closed.)

ThaD suddenly popping up from nowhere/lurking to suggest a three man lynch list is weird. (I'm even a little nervous that he was in fact recruited and knew that he wouldn't be mentioned in many lists and thus make it to day 2) Why did it take 30 pages to say this?

I'll repeat, top three candidates for lynch are Yos2, Batt, and Chrono.

Do you understand why this is scummy :O?
Lets lynch the lurkers, because the cult recuriters will go after someone who actually has a chance to be lynched and leave alive the people who contribute who probably are recruited and therefore has a higher chance of been scum.
If this wasn't a cult game, your thinking would be correct. Because this is a cult game, your thinking is wrong.
Cult plays differently from scum.

No....... recruitees are likely to lurk.

Yeah, that makes sense. If your goal is just to get through day 1 without getting lynched, you are likely to lurk. Lurking doesn't work as a long term scum strategy, but semi-lurking is a good way to get through until day 2 or 3 without anyone really noticing.

Yes, I've been lurking.

And yes, that one game is now over.

So.

Um.

Content.

Yes, LET'S TALK ABOUT THAT. In that game, where you were town, you had 6% of the game posts (living through endgame).
This game, however, you only have ONE PERCENT. And NO CONTENT FFS.

You, sir, need to hang.

Hey Yos2, which lurkers are the most likely to be cult in this game? Whats your take on chrono?

Your list of four (xvart, tajo, me, cobble) doesn't seem to include any major ones.

Also, what was the point of your question?

I figure if I am the one who suggested the plan I should probably be the custodian of the results. So here is a running tally:

Which means...
chronopie - 6
xvart - 5
springlullaby - 4
populartajo - 4
cobblerfone - 3
magister ludi - 3
seraphim - 3
thad - 2
herodotus - 2
lambadelta - 2
ruadhrgarm - 1
battouasi - 1
yosarian - 1
nobody special - 1
bunnylover - 1

In a bit of a surprise chronopie, who has been on the receiving end of some late scrutiny, is out current leader with 6.

There is still a long way to go folks with only 13 of 25 (27 if we include the mob leaders) people putting up their lists. Watch this space...

@ThAd: Why in god's name would we include the mob leaders in this?

Also, while I can understand the lurk part of the recruit play - I certainly don't see a recruit posting in other games and not here - since he obviously knows someone will look it up ..
You lurk and post just enough so that you're not called out for lurking .. Something like this list ..

Under 1.3, but at least 1:
Tajo
Ooba

Thad
Chrono
Katsuki

I'm moving one of my votes from Sera to ThAd .. And I thought cobbler was a wasted vote but apparently not - so moving vote on spring to Cobbler .. So my list is

Tajo
Cobbler

I do not think Ludi has been recruited. Someone can correct me if I misremember, but Ludi was one of the first people in the game to really stick his neck out with original content or pushing a way of cult hunting, which is something a recruit would not do so early in the game. The risk is too high especially considering the IoA meta that some people push. I have no intention of voting Ludi today.

Nobody Special, 678 wrote:Hmm. While I'd love to get mod-confirmation on this, I doubt that will happen. Perhaps we should lynch xvart just for testing purposes.

How many recruits do you think are on each team at this point in the game?

Jester speculation is totally worthless as it has no flavor fit in this game and it serves absolutely no purpose for the intent behind this game; plus it is antithetical to the object.

My list:
Chronopie
ThAdmiral
NobodySpecial/Spring Lullaby
(to be fair, both of these pinged up during my catchup and haven't looked back at them longitudinally).

Let us make this Chronopie wagon happen. Do I need to outline his case again?

O god I love this. This is even better than one of my patented name claims. Please, get 100s of useless results. I mean, seriously, at BEST there are two people who MIGHT respond to this that knows SOMETHING, and they won't name themselves. Who in the world could really know ANYTHING.

What are these names going to accomplish?

hahahaha

Carry on. I mean, haven't you realized yet? If you do not kill one of Albert or myself today the game literally becomes a choice. Either choose between myself or him. We will both recruit faster than you can lynch, even assuming you get one every night thereafter. There is no amount of killing roles or unrecruitables that could stop that without greatly effecting the actual gameplay.

Day One is the day of the town.

Day Two begins the day of the cults.

Run your town as you will, tomorrow, your only hope becomes to hope you get recruited and not lynched by the other side so you can provide more numbers for your team.

Dance little puppets. Soon your strings will be cut.
