Because that completely helps things. You have no vote down, an FoS on the main driving force behind Kast's wagon, yet you have no problem with the people on the wagon AND find Kast mildly scummy, but npt enough for a vote or even an FoS? Yeah...

As for Amrun, what he did is a scumtell. I'm quite sick of this debate but I believe its a scum tell, and worth a vote at that stage of the game. Why is it a scumtell? Because of an offhand cult mention, that may or may not refer to a previous game? At the same time, you've switch to grey for his mention of masons, which is attributable to almost the same thing Amrun did?

Doesn't help that you vote right after you get criticized for it too.

No I voted GreyIce because yesterday I posted that if he did not answer my questions I would vote for him. He did not answer my questions. I am voting for him.

I'm pretty sure he answered you, actually.

GreyICE wrote:Also, how many games have you played before Stevie? Legit question, because I'm curious as to you knowing what you do to people who are tracked or watched targeting a night kill. Watched really makes it a 'throw in the towel' on me trying to just play super town and get night killed fast as I can be town enough not to get copped/tracked but I can't dodge a watcher.

Firstly, the entire post is trying to answer a question with a question. That is scummy behavior, I'm not going to answer the question for you.

Secondly, he again ignores my second question asking why he didn't reveal his flavor name. This is a legitimate question, and if more people jump on the wagon then we should force him to reveal this - that's really up to you guys though. This is also scummy - even if he doesn't want to reveal his flavor name (there are valid reasons for feeling this way, i just wanted to hear what he had to say) there is no reason he should be ducking the question.

I also think that if this wagon for GreyIce grows we should eventually demand to hear this flavor name.

The second point first: It was covered, actually, though admittedly not first by GI (though I think he did get into it at some point). And it was obvious. He had no reason to go ahead and claim the name. Scum may accidentally use the nameclaim if they need one later and it's fishing for a rolename that you actually really don't need yet. Miller D1 claims are protown. Miller rolename claims D1 without enough suspicion on the player are downright odd. And scummy.

The first point: You said he didn't answer, not that you didn't like his answer. Big difference. Huge difference. The misrepping kind of huge. You don't like the answer, fine, then say so. However, he says that he claimed because he cannot hide his ability if there's a watcher in the setup and doesn't want to cause confusion when they see multiple people in a result. Is it typed that way? Nope. But reading between the lines is a wonderful ability to have.

Also, you're right: if GI's wagon gets to the size that he becomes a strong lynch possibility, his rolename should be claimed. It was never to that point, though, so why mention that? Just makes you look even worse.

If I hear one more person use this bullshit "he plays like he's new" excuse, I'm voting them. He's played at least 7 games, mostly themed. On the archives if you care to actually look. Which I did before voting. He knows how to play. It's not newb mistakes, it's scummy behavior.

Barring some real scummy stuff happening, I doubt this is going through. If the claim was enough to make you all back off after how he's been playing, then he's not going to hang today.

However, Ace is looking nice.

Pushes the wagon, never gets on, states it's due to the speed of the wagon, continues on to say it's the best choice for a lynch, and then drops iso post #15. You don't want a speedy lynch, yet you're pulling the "give me good reasons why he shouldn't hang right now" speech
while not on his wagon yourself?
And, yes, I know you didn't literally say that. However that IS what is implied here.

I also have an automatic distrust of voting bloc groups. If invited into them, I decline the invite. However, the wording of what was said is what gets me. I distrust voting blocs. But you are freaked out by town voting blocs. Nice slip, bro. I'm all for a possible vig shooting you.

This is a funny post, because you seem to agree with me here, but you think I'm scummy because I said "freaked out" instead of "distrust." I didn't slip or misspeaks; the idea of scum in a large voting bloc is bad news. But you want to distance yourself from me and align yourself with said voting bloc, so you say you want me vigged. Hmmmmm.

I think you're scummy because you said "town voting bloc". "Town". Which you are no longer doing.

Also, why would I, as scum, want to distance myself from you, as town? No motivation, as I was not close to you in any way before. And I don't particularly care to be aligned with a voting bloc that isn't voting as a bloc. Actually, I don't particularly care to be aligned with a voting bloc anyway. I prefer to do my own thing. I can get enough support to have scum lynched once I've found them, I do not need to get into their good graces.

The use of the word "might", honestly, makes that too weak to use. It'd be one thing if this were like before with Stevie, but, as GI said, this is page 30. And Kast isn't anywhere close to winning a scummie for best townie this game. He's scummy, on the same level, to me, as Stevie and Ace. It's a good lynch. And a mass of followers onto it show that a lot of town think so as well, even if there is scum hiding on the wagon.

Of course I can, I'm American, which is the point. I assume you don't have the major holidays of other nations memorized, because I certainly don't. And I don't think anyone really said what was going on so that others would know why there are a lot of people not paying much attention to the game right now.

Regardless of claim, regardless of CJ's claim providing a way for you to confirm yourself, regardless of you insisting you shit rainbows that smell like freshly baked cookies, your play actually IS terrible, Kast. The fact that you actually believe your wagon formed mainly from people who are tunneling, playing bad, not rational, blah blah blah should be a sign that MAYBE you can't read anything when it comes to people attacking you. Also, how are Iec and I key votes if LLD is voting irrationally, Stevie and Lobster's votes are opportunistic, Tajo is tunneling, Ace is simply returning to his old vote, and Spyrex is following the bloc?

You may be town, but you are, by no means, playing as an asset outside of your ability.

Rolling on like, no sleep, after raving, heading to work in 3 minutes, but read some of this on the ride home. Cannot even fathom touching Kast's post right now, but I want to make sure I remember to say that if either Stevie or Malth ever flips scum, the other is most likely also scum, based on Stevie attempt to make Malth mod-confirmed even though any good mod would have done the same thing, regardless of if it's faked or real. The mod note was a nulltell as far as Malth's alignment/role. Playing it off as anything more connects them if either flips mafia. Get to the rest of all of this later.

You know, I said I was gonna answer Kast's post, but I actually won't even be doing that. There's no point to it. I think he's town, I'm not bothering to argue with him anymore about his playstyle. There are better things to do. Though I will say me questioning the key vote thing wasn't out of fear, it was out of confusion. My vote hardly seemed key to anything. You answered why you thought it was, and that's about the only non-playstyle thing in the post, so whatever.

But Malth? Lynch him. We lose, what, a 1-shot vig at most? 1-shot? Nope, not interested.

I was rereading, and wondering what the fuck was wrong with so many of you, up until LLD's page 42 posts.

Why. The fuck. Does Stevie have. Investigative mod pm's?

Possibly.

Or Stevie's scum. Which is so much more likely. Time to hang.

Your faction needs town a allies right now, so WIFOM shit was a bad play. Especially since we don't need you, seeing as you cannot recruit away mafia members, but recruit or kill townies.

Thank you, GI.

Iec, you're asking him questions about things that don't add up for you, meaning that he's causing you to question things round and round, yet don't know what WIFOM that I'm talking about?

While he's probably not scum, the messages he's receiving most certainly have something to do with scum. The fact that they all start the same way is most likely due to mod flavoring of the way you receive the messages, and doesn't stop it from being from scum. So, in essence, I couldn't give a shit what the hell it says, and you can stop telling them.

Tl;dr: The messages Stevie gets are from scum (either he's scum and makes them up, or scum is using a power to send them to him), and I don't care to hear them anymore.

I'm totes scum, guys, and I bussed twice. ITT Stevie is still butthurt from D1 and ends up coming fairly close to contradicting himself in the same post just to make me look bad.

Also, if this Ace wagon finally gets going good, I'll be jumping on it. Been waiting for this pretty much since the beginning of the game.

Has it ever occurred to you that perhaps, just perhaps, it can cause adverse anti-town effects in various characters who are not supercomputers, but some kind of upgradable role?

Been a bit busy, doing some catching up in a bunch of games. Saw something though:
Starbuck wrote:Night 3 - Kast targeted Nocmen

Doesn't Kast have a day use only ability? Just want this on people's minds, since the obvious choice is to hang Amrun today, as that will either give us another scum today or one tomorrow. However, if Starbuck is scum, then that may have been a slip to make her investigations look more realistic, not realizing that Kast targets during the day, not at night. Which, of course, would clear Kast 100%.

Unvote

You mean the one where he admits lies and backtracks? Yes, yes I did miss that. As you stated before, I hadn't caught all the way up, but didn't really need to to place my vote, since it's pretty much a 1v1, and the course of action is obvious. If Amrun's a VT like she says, then it's definitely acceptable to risk her lynch now in order to catch you tomorrow. If she's scum, then another one bites the dust.

Stevie's initial read was hella wrong. GI's definitely town. You may want to refrain from becoming incredibly ridiculously defensive when trying to argue that you aren't scum and your attacker is scum.

Also, Stevie didn't claim BP. He claimed to be able to come back from the dead.

Incredibly ridiculously defensive huh. Coming out guns blazing are we? Feeling threatened?

Nice misrep bro. Like somehow my attack on GI is invalid. Like somehow what he said is acceptable on any sort of level. Stevie had a bad feeling about you and GI. I agree after ISOing you.

90% chance I've already been investigated so I'm not worried. You seem worried though. It really bothers the scum (e.g probably you) that they dont know exactly what my role is. Its an area of weakness to be exploited, a point of vulnerability to be chipped at. Which is obvious. Stevie was correct in his play and I'm not going to ruin it.

@Icerint

Why not Ace?

Your entire attack is ONLY OMGUS reasoning. Nothing else. You say nothing else of GI's actual play this game.

Antifinity wrote:I didn't say I was trying to draw the NK, though I guess that would have been nice. My main reason for wanting the mass claim was I was hoping the scum would claim a pilot (like Asuka) and claim to have some sort of ability relating to piloting their EVA, which I could then shoot down. Anyway, I'm off now, so if I don't get hammered, I'll answer questions and change votes in a couple of days.

You based the fact that your character, a fairly smaller pilot in importance to the series thus far, didn't get an ability and assumed all the others did not as well? Really? Fuck it, guys. Lynch Anti today and then lynch Ace tomorrow. Best case scenario, easy town win. Worst case scenario, we only get 1 scum out of the two.

Ah, yeah, that makes sense. GI night 3, Star night 5, GI night 7. I reverted to GI due to no kill on night 5 making me think I had stopped the kill and thus had the mafia expecting Star to be protected every night and would leave her alone. Unfortunately, I forgot that a Bodyguard had just died, and that they'd assume the blocked kill came from there. So I fucked up big time and cost us our Tracker after possibly having saved her the first go round.

I didn't trust any townreads I had strong enough to protect them nights 1 or 2, so I opted to not use it at all. Night kills can provide insight into mafia intentions at times, so I preferred to do that instead of possibly protecting scum from vig shots. By N3, my townread on you was strong enough to protect you. N5 was Star for obvious reasons. And N7, I mistakenly thought Star was WIFOM protected.

Going off of Star having once stating being redirected, I agree that a PR claim is most likely to be the fakeclaim of choice for scum redirector. Also, I am well aware that I am the next in line of most people's suspicions, for fairly good reasons.
