"sticking with my vote"
The reason I'm voting for you is very simple. When I came into the game to replace, as I was reading over the entire thread, your posts caught my attention - much moreso than DP's. When I came to the Day-Three Shenanigans and saw that much of the town seemed to feel the same way as I did, I decided that my suspicions probably hold some significant merit.

I obviously didn't voice those suspicions very well earlier, because you sortof blew up about the lack of argument against you, so I tried to explain why I had suspected you in the first place. In doing so, I re-convinced myself that you are scum. Hence the vote on you.

Just because I'm voting for you doesn't mean that I don't have my eye open elsewhere. I'm sticking to my guns because, regardless of anybody else's actions, I've seen enough to believe that you're scum (damn, I'm starting to feel like a broken record...). Either way, I think we have a couple of very good lynch candidates.

except all the reasons you've applied to me also apply to DP,

in fact even more so to DP than to me.(shorter posts, fewer posts, less insight, more useless stuff, heck all the things you've accused me of doing wrong and even more bad stuff to boot)

Not even going to bother to respond to my refutation of your case?

Doing the whole I'm convinced you are scum and I'm going to cross my arms and stick with my position thing?

1. After my exam this afternoon, if I feel so inclined.

2. Basically, yeah.

I'm shutting my trap right now for two reasons. First, because I don't want to get into an extended argument at the moment. Based on your response, I feel it'll all fall down to interpretation of your posts, and a good deal of rhetoric. I've never been any good with rhetoric arguments, so I'd rather stay away from them. Second (and the more relevant reason), I'd like to hear from other members of the town. Like I said, there are very good cases against two players right now, and a Glork-Pooky discussion won't be nearly as fruitful as a broader, more inclusive discussion.

@CA - I'm a replacement. Mith was Iammars choice, Vis was a random choice (missed by Iammars), and I picked InHim because he seem scummy (but alas, so did I), with the LB wagon.. that one still confuses me.

I'll preface this with saying I'm only going by Cadmium's counts (with the exception of the lynches.) If anyone would like to revise these - as far as if there were anymore voters in the mid-Day segments I show - feel free to do so. I have only bolded confirmed GGs and colored red the BGs - based upon death as the only confirmation.

DAY 1

Besides the lynch votes, I think these are key spots:

2 Flying Dutchman (Commodore Amazing, PeaceBringer)
- I'm willing to clear CA of any ties with PB.

7 VisMaior (VitaminR, RoadBird, Fritzler, PeaceBringer, mith, Flying Dutchman, LyingBrian)
- This is a tough one to call, but - at most - there's only one additional scum on this wagon, in my opinion.

4 RoadBird (EnderX, Thoth, VitaminR, mith)
- I really think we've got a scum in here.

8 RoadBird (Dragon Phoenix, Thoth, PookyTheMagicalBear, LyingBrian, EnderX, Coron, Kerplunk, VisMaior)
- I can't see this getting as high as it did without a scum on the wagon.

@inhim.

That's a lot of info which I don't understand fully but maybe if I stare at it for another hour it will get clearer ;) I have a few questions though
inHimshallibe wrote:I'm willing to clear CA of any ties with PB.
What exactly are you trying to say?

Furthernore I would like to hear the arguments you have against Thoth. Let me point out post #389
Thoth wrote:Yes, missed the hints. Sorry.
Which is an answer to mith's post about the hints he made towards Psalm 107. I wrote him down as being one of my fellow townies together with mith and VitaminR. Please correct me if I'm wrong here.

I also think we should be careful with the assumption that LyingBrian was pro-town. That he was town is true but I consider him a mafia spy of some sort. Considering the fact that the bad guys seem to die when they attempt a nightkill, the scum might end up with no collegues in no time which would make it possible that Cadmium build in some sort of replacement system. LyingBrian's verse would be a nice description for that. Again please correct me if I'm wrong.

PookyTheMagicalBear wrote:I guess ur suggesting that I calmly fold my hands and sit down and try to use gentle logic to bring you guys around so that we can actually get a game going instead of shouting at the top of my lungs in fustration at the screen?

Oh wait, that's what I was doing for the last three weeks before I got angry and started ranting! As I remember, you guys just nodded alot and said vote: Pooky without actuaylly giving any reasons or logic.

Shoot that path sure turned out to be a winner no?
Could you please show me where you used to gentle logic to bring us around? Especially where you did over a period of three weeks.

For the record, my suggestion is that you stop ranting and play the game. Yes, the atmosphere isn't the epitomy of productivity. Well, let's try to change that by getting rid of some of this unnecessary hostility and actually looking for scum. This discussion isn't getting us anywhere.
Pooky wrote:If you want me to stop trying to wake the town up? You want the town to keep stumbling towards its grave in some sort of lethargic trance?

IF you don't, then post something more than a 3 lines which talks about productivity(which you haven't shown), telling me to quiet down(when really the problem is you being too quiet), and telling us DP isn't the only one guilty(duh we know, you're guilty of it too).
Simply ranting is not waking the town up. Productivity is waking the town up.

My statement about DP was meant to indicate that I don't think we can pin the dichotonous thinking on him when it is a prevailing attitude. Also, where have I shown it?

I don't like how you say "the problem is you being too quiet." It's a valid point about my productivity, but it is unrelated to the case against you.

InHim, could you outline some of your conclusions more clearly? I'm not sure I follow all of them.

Interested to hear from inhim and LML what it was exactly that they saw? I voted RoadBird for a good reason (placing vote 9 of 10 for a complete nonreason coupled with not addressing FD's defense) and next day I immediately put my vote on him again as the same reason still applied (and even got stronger when FD turned up innocent).

The more I think about lynching Pooky, the more I like the idea. His defense hasn't been particularly convincing; his self-analysis seem just as much like a scum listing off reasons why his posts were acceptable pro-town posts as they seem pro-town.

Also, Pooky hasn't weighed in on anyone besides DP. He didn't give us much information in his early other votes either.

Pooky's defense also seems over the top. Like we're morons for thinking he's scum. That doesn't seem fair since he hasn't done anything in particular to clear himself. In my opinion, if you haven't been incidentally cleared before day three or had a particularly strong voting record, it's time to step up and find some scum. Pooky hasn't done that. All we've seen are excuses and shouting as to doubt ourselves.

vote: PookyTheMagicalBear

@Pooky - I don't care how stupid my vote seems to you; what I need from you before I can move past you is some analysis on other players. What do you think of LML's claim? What do you think of Vis's role? Who do you think are other good scum candidates besides DP? Are there any players you feel have been leading this game in the right direction? Is inHim's plan a good plan or not?
