As for the question the doc and Cop always seem to be the most hax combo in the land of Mafia- right? I mean I always see people either praising it or bitching about it, so idk.

Wonder why some people are so quick to dis Advertising- From what I can understand from the rules, with the obvious exception of the Night Kill, no ability is really guaranteed to be in the auction the next day, because it seems like new ones are added as the game goes on, but whatever. I guess having the Oracle ability and wanting to Advertise seems like a good combo.

Because Ms thinks that me wanting the investigation immunity, is scum motivated. When it is far more likely that they would take the cop instead, since nobody could possibly outbid them. Essentially making investigation immunity null. All ms is doing is digging for something that is not there.

Don't be so naive.

Your basically saying scum have absolutely no motivation to acquire Investigation Immunity- when they are the the only roles it that it would even remotely be useful to. Townies, and even the proverbial TP, would have no use for it, other then to keep it from the mafia- because Cop Results come back, "Mafia" or "Not Mafia".

Also, don't be so presumptuous.

Mafia will be far more concerned with getting the NK, then any other ability.

- I don't understand why you continue to feel like Advertising is not to the Town's best interest. Do you not understand that only the NK ability is guaranteed everyday? We have every reason to use it- especially with Doctor and Cop abilities, simply because the ones today won't last forever, and then where will we be?

That said I agree with most of what you said, with the exception of Advertising and stating of transfers.

Or maybe it's the fourth option of, he actually did bid for cop like he said, with the amount he said, and was fucked at the auction- royally.

As for how it might alter it- it wouldn't be to far out of the ordinary to wonder how you say you bidded 99$ and claim to hold said ability, when said ability was won with $95...

If your asking for exact times- you can forget it. That's dangerously too close to Rule 6 for my comfort.

I will say though, that I waited a couple days(Early 30th to be exact) before I went for it, seeing as it seemingly had no one bidding on it at the time I sent it. It was only a matter of short moments that I got a reply back from the mod saying my first bid didn't take, so I tried again, and a short time later, and the same thing happened- so I tired going for something else, because third time's the charm was just not going to cut it.

And yes- I lost a dollar each time I bidded for that mofo.

I just said I re-bid shortly after I got the pm stating I lost the bid the first time...

Also- alarm bells did tingle my insides: but since I had no idea at the time, if it was another Townie that bid much smarter then me, like Bidding 99$ straight out instead of playing the poke-it-with-a-stick-and-see-if-moves game, or a scum who bid way more then that to get it right off, I couldn't know till later.

But seeing as how shortly after I bid for the Governor auction, I lost inter-web connection for almost an entire week, I couldn't very well do anything about it till after I got back.
