on earworm: I chose you because you were the inactive I didn't know very well. I know orangepenguin from elsewhere, and I've talked to PBug on Facebook ScumChat. Mist7676 was just prone to create drama, and I think she likes me.

on Horde of Spoons: cjdrum is meh, Framm 18 is very nice, Kcdaspot is over-the-top, orangepenguin is inactive, Quilford is inactive, SleepyKrew is lulzy, T-Bone is horrid and mean, Tragedy is likable and amazing, and Twistedspoon is the leader of this messed-up tribe. However they will probably do very well against us so :S

on animorpherv1: he's going to be an oppressive ruler of this tribe. He probably has an alliance already, that doesn't involve me. WAAAAAAAAAH!

What will HoS do:


I will PM each player a word and a name of a player.
If the player is able to make the player say the word I PMed, then you will be able to tell everyone the word you got.
But until otherwise you may not say the word aloud.
You may not ask obvious question to the person.

For example:
"What starts with S ends with E and has I E N C in between?
"What do scientists study?"

Are obvious questions.


You may ask the player questions like:
"Isnt university fun? What did you study?"

Isnt that obvious.


I decide whether a question is "obvious" or not.
So dont test me.

The words people get will form a sentence.
If you correctly guess that sentence by bolding the sentence in this thread, you win the challenge.
You are given 2 guesses.
If you you fail both guesses you then lose the challenge and the MPs win.

What will MPs do:


Similar to above, but everyone will have to do it to a single person.


Everyone will get the same person and a word.


That person wont get any word, but he will have to guess everyones word.

They will also have 1 guess.
If they fail that guess they lose.

(they are less people = less words, thats why it will be a bit harder.)

Missile - Wherever your opponent is, you may throw him a missile which will put him at -1 next turn. - 100
Send Cop - you will send a police car to your enemy, which will detain the opponent for the next turn (doesnt work if someone is in a helicopter) - 120
Helicopter - You will automatically get roll a 6, though you will be vulnerable to missiles (If a missile hits you, your helicopter crashes and you only move 1 space) - 100
Land Mine - You may place a little bomb on your space, if your opponent lands on it, he will be thrown back a space (dubique) - 30

Each team starts with 200, you will post what you want bought in your QT (since telling your opponent wouldnt be smart), the race starts in 24 hours.

Dubique = If you actually buy it, you have a limit of 2. That means you cant buy 3 or 4.

GUNZ BLAZIN

Its basically a King of The Hill game.

There are 4 zones.

NAME - POINTS GAINED PER HOUR - TIME IT TAKES TO CONTROL THE AREA

Alpha Beach - 100 - 1 hour
Bravo Mountain - 75 - 45 minutes
Charlie River - 50 - 20 minutes
Delta Valley - 50 - 20 minutes


Each team strives to gain the most points.
To control an area a person has to say "CAPTURE: PLACE", and in X:XX time it will be captured.
If an enemy member tries to capture the same place a stalemate occurs, unless a team member helps you capture it
(or a teammate of the enemy helps the enemy capture it)

For Example:

Joe tries to capture Alpha Beach, then comes Josh(from the enemy team) and tries to capture it aswell, then a stalemate occurs.
A stalemate stops once a team has a majority trying to capture a place.


Once a team has a zone captured, the enemy may attack it to try to capture it. But if there is an equal amount attacking and defending then the defenders wins.


Also, each team will have 2 people become "SQUAD COMMANDOS"


A squad commando can choose 1 special ability:

Disable - You choose single enemy player to disable for the next 4 hours (Meaning they cant capture, attack or defend)
Shield - You choose 1 person to become untargettable from attacks for whole day (may choose oneself)
Scout - If a stalemate occurs (Only works when capturing) you win the stalemate.
Roots - You may root a single enemy player to stay in a single zone (they can only attack,defend,capture that zone, nothing else.) the whole day.
Vanguard - You may choose a single enemy player and he will only be able to defend zones, he wont be able to attack and capture for the whole day.

(these are all one-shot abilities)

Each team leader (tspoon and animorpherv) have until tonight to choose there Squad Commandos (they can choose themselves) if not they are randomed. And unless im mistaken TBone is the temporary leader until TSpoon returns?


For those still confused:

Capturing - IF a zone is controlled by no one, then you can capture it. (you have to say CAPTURE: PLACENAMEHERE)
Defending - If you control a zone and its attacked, then you can defend it (you have to say DEFEND: PLACENAMEHERE)
Attacking - If you want to control a zone thats already captured, you may attack it. (you have to say ATTACK PLACENAMEHERE)
(the difference between capturing and attacking, is that there are no stalemates, if theres a tie then the defender wins)
All of this occurs in this thread.
Though choosing the Squad Commandos is secret. (you do that in your QT)

Moving on...

Due to the complete dominance of HoS, and most MPs declaring white flag. HoS seem to have won

Heres my attempt at flavor:

It was early morning.

Both teams stood at each side of the map.
The trumpet sounded...

.... it was time for war.


The gates opened, but in one side it seemed some of the members dozed off.
in that side a lone figure named Gandalf stepped out...

He rushed to the beach and tried to capture it...


on the other side... a few soldiers seem to come out ... looking for places to capture.... they soon realized Gandalf was alone... and decided to attack him...

They tried to attack the Beach but Gandalf defended, he was about to conquer Alpha Beach which would of brought his team lots of power...
but he soon decided that...

maybe he should go attack somewhere else....

He attacked the Delta Valley... which was now HoS controlled...
he failed...

he then decided to flee...



Thats when the Ani, leader of MPs, appeared.
He was a squad commando.


He took out his taser and decided to electrocute Tragedy, which was currently defending Delta.

She got shocked and appeared to be half dead.

She was soon taken to the hospital, but as they took her she screamed for help.


Ani felt victorious as he soon started capturing the battlefield.

Suddenly...


...


Through the HoS gate... emerged 4 soldiers.... ready for war...


They soon started overpowering Ani...

Ani soon fled.....

The 4 soldiers... soon controlled the whole area...


...

Team MPs waved a white flag..

It was utter chaos...

They where all in disarray....
