NS flips scum, kill Maxous (and I'll block anyone BUT Zepher, who proves likely JOAT). Max has slipped by too easily today.

NS flips Town, kill Zepher. I'll block...someone. I have an idea in my head, but I don't want to tip my hand, I'd rather outguess the scumteam and nail 'em.

Agreed?

Interesting...considering that it IS a pretty reasonable plan for you if the person you're voting for flips scum, that comment just reeks of self-preserving worry and foreknowledge of the flip.

I swear to god, this game is the bane of my existence.

UNVOTE: Toon
VOTE: Nobody Special

If Zepher is lying, kindly vig him. If he's telling the truth, scum will probably want to get rid of him.

Either way, I'd like Zepher's thoughts as well as NS's before hammer.

Toon Fighter wrote:Just one more thing: What about Pine? He claimed RB and lived for 2 whole nights. Instead of him, scum killed a possible cop and a confirmed VT. Why? Why would scum give away the possibility of killing a town RB just to kill a VT? It doesn't make much sense to me. That, plus the fact that he blocked me, puts Pine back in the suspect list (plus, his attacks on mastin and his defence of NS)

Umm, how about the fact that 1) They killed someone they had spotted as a Cop (I'm going to have to ask them how they figured that one out, I didn't see any crumbs, not counting the possible one with NS, and then only after he was dead). Cop > RB. Then they killed Confirmed Town. Role is not as relevant compared to confirmed status. Town's never ever going to lynch ConfTown, they've gotta kill her. Their other options last night were claimed Vig and claimed RB. Both of whom could have merited Doctor protection and screwed their kill.

Was this quote serious? Or was it only intended as WIFOM meant to push your agenda? Trying to outguess scum in their kills is almost as bad as trying to outguess the mod. Especially when there may be a protective role on the loose.

Can we please, PLEASE lynch this scum tomorrow?

I'm sorry, what was the result you desired from me? An immediate Zepher vote? No. He's a claimed JOAT, and deserves a chance to prove himself. He gets vigged if he's wrong.

If he turns out to be telling the truth, we probably still have a Doctor, considering that I highly doubt that a picture like this one:

Not especially. But you don't lynch the claimed PR unless it's LyLo. You give them one chance to prove themselves, either by demonstrating their role or by attracting the night kill, and you vig or lynch their ass if they prove false.

This is basic game theory. Worried that your mate is going to go down?

Are you kidding? Zeph was lying, or at least forced the lynch off of himself and onto a Townie. I thought we were clear on this.

It is now apparent that the KoC clear on NS was legit. It's common for scum PRs to claim JOAT.

If I were scum, I'd have claimed to block my buddy, and nailed Zepher for "lying" and failing to protect Toon.

Zepher is SCUM. Uite is proven beyond doubt to be Town, for not hammering me for the win.

I blocked Zepher because I am absolutely convinced of him as scum. Think about it. A scum JOAT makes more sense for scum power when arrayed against the Town power.

This thread needs more nhammen.

What the hell, Zepher? You think a two one-shot JOAT plus a Godfather would overpower scum? Yet you find GF + RB realistic?

And when did you become a 2-power JOAT? I can't dig it up on my phone, but I swear you originally said three.

I think that's a scum softclaim from Silver, but survivor can deal with Silver vs nham tomorrow. I'm tempted to say Silver + Zeph, given no hammer on me, but I can't be sure.

Except for the fact that you're unmitigated, lying scum.

I have perhaps made foolish roleblocking decisions, but I've openly claimed them and explained my reasons. Zepher has LIED to us for his own agenda. At least twice, one of those being to deflect a lynch off of himself and onto A COP CLEAR.

OF COURSE I BLOCKED HIM.

Plus, I've got a good shot at blocking the scum kill and CATCHING THEM IN THE ACT tonight.

Lynch Zepher, and we've got a great shot at winning. Lynch me and we lose.

Lie #1: Claimed to have three powers, then changed his story to two. Of his three/two powers, only one was ever stated...

Lie #2: ...And that one power that was claimed magically removed the COP CLEAR on Nobody Special, throwing the lynch off of himself and onto a confirmed Townie...who, guess what, flipped Town.

Also, this is the most damning scumslip of the game (BRAND NEW EVIDENCE!):

Suck up a little more, Zepher. We all (and by that I mean me, the dead QT, the mod, and apparently no one else) know that it behooves you to encourage without qualification those who agree on your one real point. You only need one Townie to vote with you.

...Which thought just completed the game for me. It is only possible for Zepher and Silver to be scum together. Scum would have hammered by now I there was one outside that pair. Choose correctly and this is a Town win in the bag.

Scum choose who they take into LyLo. They weed out those who are on the right track and those who have a clue, and leave the people who are advocating a mislynch. This is the case here.

The extreme speed with which Silver and Zepher voted is indicative of scum confidence, not Town caution. Town wouldn't ever dare to rush like that. The caution of Uite and nham is exemplary Town behavior, but they've obviously been left alive for their dearth of strong reads.

I'm the scum mislynch planned for the win. Double vote me early, and all they have to do is convince one person. The final vote in LyLo is easy, but putting someone to L-1 is risky. They've taken care of that. Commendable strategy, really.

Silver, are you dense? I don't have access to a dead QT, I don't even know for certain that one exists. I was stating that everyone OTHER than your buddy and the other Townies you hand-picked for LyLo knows exactly how guilty you are.

But thank you for confirming that my realization is correct.

"Even for me"?

You've played exactly one game with me, Silver. Do not presume to know me. I read that statement as a bald-faced attempt to paint my every word as something it is not, and ascribe false motive to my actions.

I'd say 'shame on you', but you're just scum trying desperately to win, and frustrated that none of the Townies are falling for it.

No, really, where the deuce are nham and Uite? I feel like Luke Skywalker, in the garbage mashed with two walls closing in around him, shouting into the commlink "Threepio, come in! Where could he be?!?"

Just got off V/LA. In the car coming home now, only skimmed, but have to respond to Silver's last..."supposedly" in LyLo? For us NOT to be in LyLo AND me as the last scum, as you would suggest, there must have been a horribly-underpowered scum team of three, both of whom I promptly and effectively bussed into oblivion, despite my well-known despisement of bussing, and then making AND ADMITTING to unpopular and risky blocking decisions.

No. We're in LyLo, because four starting scum are all that makes sense. Your flailing and desperation become more and more obvious as we go.

Seriously?

To insert the idea that we might be able to afford a mislynch. Hell, if we could afford a mislynch, I'd self-hammer in order to prove you and Zepher as the final scum, and produce a Town win.

But we can't afford a mislynch.

Three scum is entirely too small when stacked against the Town power of a Roleblocker, Vig, 1-Shot BP, and THREE Masons. Five would not only be overpowered against our starting number, but if there were three remaining they'd already have won. No, it's 2v3, and the fact that you're pushing doubt into that when the
safest
ONLY safe course is to assume we're in LyLo is a ludicrous scumslip.

If you people aren't prepared to lynch Zepher, I'm more than willing to settle for his buddy.

I would like to point out that the above post does not contain the panic and frantic requests to unvote that a Townie about to lose would contain. Instead, it is composed of desperate last-minute flailings and attempts to besmirch BOTH of the people now voting for him.

Caught scum is caught.

Please make sure to take down Zepherscum on D6 if I am NKed.

That is all.

Wait, never mind! With only one scum left, I can roleblock Zepher again and prevent the nightkill!

Town super-win!

Slips? What are you, high?

With you gone, there is one Mafia member left, and we know exactly who it is. I roleblock him, and he's unable to perform the NK. Town wins by a wider-than-anticipated margin of 3 survivors.

Why would we lynch you before LyLo? It's so easy to fluster you into making scum slips.

Even when you're Town.

Hate yourself, Silver, if you have to vent your rage at anyone.

This LyLo was a competition of you and Zepher versus me to convince Uite who to believe, with him favoring your side right out of the gate. Don't blame Uite for going with the more convincing arguments, he only had the evidence you gave him to go on.

Uite, well played. You chose wrong, but you played a cautious and well-considered game.

Actually, I never seriously requested replacement. He and nham appeared to be flaking, so I played the pissed-off, raging Townie that you ought to have been playing.

Seriously, you need to chill out. Log off, go have a smoke, and get laid or something.

Not really, no. Not when it is part of a campaign of feigned outrage (which you failed to point out to the one swing voter) and neither person in question was actually in danger of being replaced.

Quadz knew I wasn't serious. Or do you still think I had magical knowledge of the dead QT?

I'd love to hear from dead players.

PE: Oh, and I've been preparing the "If you won't lynch Zepher, can we compromise with Silver?" card for days.
PE2: Yeah, I thought we were terribly obvious. Especially with your lurking and waiting to quickhammer when a second vote went down on a Townie.

Silver, I could tell already, when I wrote that post, that Uite was being swayed away from your side and towards mine. Scum never, ever, ever want replacements if they can help it. Replacements look at things in a new light, and my jury-rigged case probably wouldn't have stood up to new, objective scrutiny.

Also, this is the first game where I actively bussed a mate. My rage against bussing was genuine, but so was my playing against meta ;)

I was not lurking to wait for a quickhammer, I was lurking because I didn't want to put any work in, and I had stupidly told everyone I would put an IMMENSE amount of work in, so I had to do that. That megapost took me a total of 9 hours over 3 days to write.

Appearances are everything, mate.

Silver, please grow up. You lost a game, not your first born.

PE: You'll note that I never lied to you, Uite.

(Correction: I lied to you a LOT, I just did in a way that you couldn't PROVE it. While pointing out contradictions in my opponents' posts.)

"You fucked up" meant that you played the Silver/Zeph vs Pine dichotomy badly. You made mistakes, got overly emotional, pushed too hard, alienated the voter you needed, and failed to make your case. Uite screwed up too, in that he chose wrong, but all three of you share the blame. Equally, I'd say, though for different reasons.

Scum played the hand that was dealt, DY. No way I'd have pulled some of the ballsy shit I did with other people.

That said, we took who we wanted into LyLo. None of our NKs were random.

Yoshi, I think that if you re-read your statement, in light of the fact that I won in LyLo, my point may be made clear.

I wouldn't have let us NK Mastin N1, I was 3/4 convinced he was a PGO at the time.
