Yeah, me asking questions to better understand the roles, that's so scummy. If I was scum, I'd probably just be discussing the roles with my buddies in QT.

Speaking of which, while scum will have more cash, there's likely only 3 of them. So lets assume 9v3 (allowing for a 3rd party of some kind). They'd have to have x3 the money we have, which is possible, but they'd have to go crazy with it.

I agree that somebody should throw down a 99 bid on the NK, just to make them bid more.

Also, while I like the already proposed questions for the Set up Knowledge, the one that I want everybody to ask is "Are there more than two different win conditions amongst the PMs?" Then we can fuck around with the money questions.

I agree with this, and am kicking around an idea: I'm thinking, for the sake of knowing exactly who has it,

that any protown player that ends up with NKx1 should claim it so we can dictate how it should be used

(sort of like a second lynch). If no one comes forward, it'd be safer to say scum snapped it up. If the person who gets it doesn't follow our instructions, the idea that they might be scum would be

Agree with the first three. The last two I'm queasy about incase scum do get the NK and don't claim, we could be making it easier for scum to kill off abilites that could be useful, particularly if muitiple use.

It is confirmed that mafia sniped at investigation immunity at the end of yesterday meaning that they feared cops investigation or wanted to remove a chance of having cleared players. This essentially means that they themselves didn't hold cop, therefore Ghostlin is town.

I don't see how this makes Ghostlin town.

First off, this assumes that scum was 100% on getting the cop investigation?

Secondly, this assumes that scum would not benefit from having the cop ability?

Thirdly, this assumes that scum wouldn't take the investigation immunity AND the cop ability to achieve just this reaction? The fact that the scum can co-ordinate their purchases makes this likely.

Okay I just got my answer. So as you'll recall, my questions was

"Are there more than two different win conditions among the role PMs sent to players?"

My answer was in the

(just in case quoting = copying a one word answer)

So, there's the win condition in the Entrepreneur Role PM. Then there's the scum one. Then there's at least one more.
Unless there's a hole in my question, but I think I've covered it.
So, that could mean there's a 3rd party. Or it could mean that members of one of the other two factions have a different worded win con. So if you're town and not an Entrepreneur, check your win con. Don't answer anything in thread, but eventually, I might want to know.

Tomorrow I might as about how many people are in the same faction as the Mafia Zaibatsu Member.

As I stated, I was unaware of Hiphop bidding on NK as well. I thought that NK was likely to be bid on by scum, and I wanted to keep it away from them. I figured, as I had invested money, that I may have had enough to win it outright, if not I would at least drive the price up on the scum.

Had I won it, I would have claimed it in thread, and used it as a de-facto 2nd lynch (voting on who I used it on).

Ok, I understand the Newman wagon now. The only issue is... who is he scum with? If he's SK like I think, then this isn't a problem...

But if it is as I suspect... and there are two scum teams... who is he connected to?

His WLC vote was pretty damn bad... there;s a bussing potential there? Beyond that, he actually has NO CONNECTIONS to anyone else left in the game. Not that I can see.

I think it should.
Yes the scum get 'input', but they get input on the lynching and we get to learn more info that way, while still having accountability.

Hell, we know I'm town, how about I direct the NK every night? How's that for a compromise? It forces our NK winners to do what I say or claim scum, and we know the scum aren't influencing the decision.

Reading kills is unreliable and pretty useless. Vig voting gives us a second lynch vote which we badly need, given the Newman and Midnight inconsistencies.

My strongest scum read is Icey by far, his actions throughout today have included obvious contradictions, changing of reads with minimal reasoning and insistence that Newman is scum when he was very quick to drop suspicion of Newman earlier in the day when the wagon seemed like it might die down.

I didn't drop suspicion of him. I just changed my vote because of your chainsaw defense of Newman, and because he had an explanation which seemed consistent at the time being.

I brought up my feelings on the lack of an SK twice, because it was brought up twice. I feel that an SK is unlikely due to the setup. An SK has an adherent disadvantage from the get go. He can't die and win (as town/scum can). He has to kill EVERYONE else. To offset that disadvantage, he gets unlimited NK's. If he has to bid every day for a NK, then his chances of winning become almost none (IMO).

Since somebody can steal money, maybe we have a "robber" who doesn't need to kill and/or survive, but simply amass a certain amount of money at some point.

If I get the kill, I am not killing newman. Catching up.

Because I don't think he is scum.
