Just to speak as a Computer Engineering student, these forums (Not Mafiascum, but those based on the forum software) have a reasonably lengthy delay between someone actually logging out/closing the window, and the activity shown at the bottom. The actual amount of time varies, although typically it lies between 10 and 30 minutes before it will remove someone from the list.

Back to coursework.. if anyone can code Delphi, feel free to let me know.

I really don't like this "rolefishing" accusation. It's really not always a bad thing to share information.. for example, a Vig claiming means the Town can discuss shot placement, and an unclaimed Doc can cover him at night. A claimed Cop means that people can be confirmed as non-Scum (Not Town, there's always the possibility of third parties, and I suppose GFs too, but those are somewhat rarer.)

I honestly haven't seen much warranting such a heavy response against SP..

Why should Town be concerned about who does or doesn't suspect them, beyond answering any questions/responding to points.

If someone votes me, asks questions, and unvotes after I answer, the natural assumption is "I answered what he wanted to know, he now understands my stance and his concerns were abated". The natural reaction is not "OMG THANK YOU FOR UNVOTING <3<3<3".

Okay. I'll be honest here.. I've had some shit to deal with in real life lately.

I've had a lecturer claim a coursework piece was late which has meant I need to resit two seperate modules in second year, meaning I need to delay third year by a year, I've been trying hard to get this overturned but it simply hasn't worked, I'm shitting myself about my dad getting home from his fortnight away with the Territorial Army because he's going to kill me, I feel bad because through all this I haven't been able to get a part time job since the last place sacked me because of an error on the payroll department's part (I was booked for 3 weeks holiday, they put me down for 2, so I was classed as AWOL for the last week and rather than fix it, they sacked me.) and all in all, I've been feeling pretty shit about things. I'm telling you all this because yes, I haven't been putting as much effort in here as I should be. I intend to fix that, starting now. So, I'm asking for a little time to re-read, draw up some proper thoughts et cetera. I will give the focus required here from now.

Because Town don't think about "outing" people when there's been a guilty. It's a lynch, and unless the flip happens to be either Miller/Townie with Gun/Vig/something else that's a legitimate false positive, the next day's lynch is obvious too. Scum want to "out" the Town PRs for elimination at night if they can't be lynched during the day.

Gunsmith's typically have one, maybe two false triggers. The fact a Vig's gone make it a very low chance of a false positive.

And you said "out another PR", which if it's the case, is already true. It's non-standard to not get a claim, and evaluate that claim based on the person's prior play. For you to talk about them being outed seems to me a slip. Scum thinking about the fact two NK targets have appeared..

I doubt there's an odd-night Vig, and Cops rarely flake. In my experience, the most common flake is a Vanilla or either faction. Followed by Doc.

Even-Night could be as simple as not wanting to have a random shot fired N1, when the chances of hitting Town are highest.

There's likely a Doc or JK around. Pray for Doc, so you can investigate again. Regardless, this is a normal, more than one false positive would come under some inspection from the review group I feel. Yes, it's outguessing, but this isn't a bastard-mod or a Theme, so by looking at the Normal guidelines you can draw some semi-reasonable conclusions.

Frankly I'd level the SK line at him. It's not unheard of for the SK to, instead of being BP or similar, be given a method of finding those with NK actions. Gunsmith would fit that to the letter, as it would detect Vigs and Mafia.
