[1] I participated in these ways:

• I engaged in dialogue when the group was trying to decide which aspects of Mish Mash games ought to be included in the essay.
• After Cybele had drafted the essay, I tried to assist by reviewing and editing to the best of my ability.
  
• I proposed three game ideas: Spider-Man Rumble, Diva Royale, and Luigi's Mansion: King Boo's Revenge. Of these three, the last was adopted by the group for this challenge and further developed in our QT.
• Once we had all decided on King Boo's Revenge, I created the Title Graphic; wrote and revised flavour for the opening post; collected ideas within the QT to write and revise the ruleset/mechanics for the opening post; and, lastly, I created both the Character and Star Boards.

[2] Yes, I think it was definitely if not smart for Cybele to post the QT. In one sense, I suppose openly demonstrating our group's cohesion and progress to that point could have possibly frazzled the other team. Sure, it gave them an all-access pass to our plans, but it also helped set the bar (in my opinion) for this task.

[3] Yes.

[4] TornadoSwirl and JDGA contributed the least to this task. Even after prods, TornadoSwirl was a nonexistent presence in our discussions. I don't think he's even made an appearance on the site since signing up for this game, which is not very encouraging.

• What do you think of your opponent's submission?

I think it's interesting. The game more or less a classic example of an RPG, so with that in mind I don't find it to be groundbreaking. Even so, I think members of the Mish Mash community would definitely sign up to play, which gives credit to the game and its creators.

It's sort of a Fundamental when you realize that all your players have been ignoring the game outright.

To me, that would suggest that there is a larger problem with the game. If players are ignoring the game or disinterested, would continuous prods/bumps do much to reinvigorate them? If it were a case of one person dropping the ball activity-wise, then I think prodding/bumping would help serve a larger fundamental of moderator oversight. If all the players decrease in activity, I'm not sure your factor helps.

• What did you do during this task?
• Are you satisfied with your team's final submission? Is there anything you think could have been improved or that you would have changed?
• How do you think Cybele performed as Project Manager?

[01] For this task:

• While conversing with Cybele, I designed the banner that was selected for Assignment 4. It was my idea to place the ferris wheel within an eye, and after posing the idea to my PM, I made several drafts from which to select.
• I worked from 12:01AM-5:05AM trying to place text on the image in such a way to enhance the banner. In the end, both Cybele and I agreed that the resulting decrease in resolution diminished the aesthetic quality of the graphic, so we scrapped the text.
• I engaged in conversations both within the QT thread and with individuals via PM. I was very vocal about my opinions with font selection, post arrangement, and the overall color palette that was selected for Assignment 3. I provided praise when it was deserved, but was also quick to argue against concepts that I thought would negatively reflect on our final product.
• Lastly, I made additions to the copy that was provided for the task and helped to revise the layout of our Assignment 3 submission.

[02] Yes, I am pleased with Team Eucleia's submission. As a matter of preference, I would have liked to make the ferris wheel a little more prominent in the eye, but I think the provided work serves its purpose just as effectively. I also wish that I had been able to solve the image-text issue. With the photograph's size and the ppi level, I assumed we would have no issues with further manipulating the image, but it proved more difficult than I had anticipated. This may just be because it was almost four in the morning and I had been staring at a computer screen very closely for hours.

[03] I think Cybele was an exemplary Project Manager. Once our PM decision had been made, he immediately organized the group by creating a second QT. As the details of the challenge were provided, he quickly delegated tasks to each team member and exercised considerable creative oversight throughout the process. He provided content of his own, while at the same time ensuring that each active member had the chance to voice his or her own opinion.

Papyrus but Cybele said that's a bad font but animorpherv1, Thomith, and of course myself agreed to it and only Cybele rejected.

EBWOP: Cybele wasn't the only one. I disliked the idea of using Papyrus as well, for reasons I can explain outside the War Room. This in no way means a great deal in the grand scheme of the team, but I just wanted to state that our PM wasn't a lone wolf opinion-wise in this case.

Thoughts, anyone?

Team Excel's banner image appears distorted. I like what they were going for with the traces of red, but I think any menacing quality the banner might have conveyed was/is obscured by the filter they placed over the image. Aesthetically, I personally feel the noise detracts from the image and makes the splotches of red look haphazard. This, coupled with the rainbow letters and the alteration between red and blue text gives the whole submission a sense of separation. I understand the introduction being in red to tie in with the banner, but why are the rules separated by colors? Why is 200 three different colors? There is no definite unifying element; the color scheme is thrown off by "FERRIS WHEEL" and the red/blue/off-black combination clashes.

I don't mean to insult any of you--I'm just giving my critical opinion.
