I've been scum with IS on several occasions (including my first flawless victory), and I don't think I've ever seen him white knighting as scum. I don't see this reasoning as valid at all.

By the way, Roleblocker vs Roleblocker isn't that difficult to figure out. Unless they target each other, the RB that blocks the other RB takes precedence. If they target each other, my personal opinion as a mod is that the first one to send in their choice would take precedence. This only matters because one would be a Jailkeeper in this instance, so that ability is also a protect. In the case of straight RB vs RB, there would never be a problem, because if they both target each other, then they've wasted their abilities anyway.

Moral of the story is, I'd say that mafia roleblocker is a hell of a lot more common than mafia doctor. In fact, I don't think I've ever actually been in or modded a game with a mafia doctor. I know the role exists, but I certainly wouldn't call it common enough to think that's what was going on here.

If anyone was wondering, the reason we blocked StefanB was specifically to set up the StefanB vs Amrun scenario where they would try to lynch each other. It was purely bad luck that teamsleep got thrown into the mix by StefanB claiming he had tried to kill him. Fortunately, we still had the numbers to pull it off.

I told Vifam I would lynch him if he played stupid. He played stupid, I lynched him. He even had a chance to survive the ring until that ridiculous claim. I couldn't believe that I didn't catch any flack for wavering and trying to save Vifam after I threw him up into the ring.

Well, that logic is partially what cleared me for much of the game, since I had been running up Vifam as well.

Vezok, IS, ckd, and PeregrineV have played with me before, but vezok doesn't have a completed game with me.

IS and I have been scum together, which was part of the reason I was ok killing him off the first night.

Vezok slipped up early about being a power role, so we blocked him when we weren't blocking StefanB.

In other news, I just realized that Vezok's claim should have given StefanB away. Why would there be a doctor that can only protect on the nights that the town get a kill of its own? That's like a self-nerfing role almost...it'd have been a great argument for StefanB being an SK. Unfortunately, by that time I wasn't interested in lynching anyone in particular, as long as Lowell and I survived for my endgame strategy.
