Mod thoughts:

Under the Table Dealings:

So all of the antitown roles could communicate anonymously. The idea was that they could use this to maneuver around any breaking strategies the Town might come up with. Actually usage was a little different: bobsnox and Ghostlin both claimed who they were via UTTD messages D1. This proved particularly problematic for Ghostlin because after WeyounsLastClone was lynched, he was still outted to the other mafia. This meant that Lady Lambdadelta (who replaced bobsnox) and GreyICE both actually knew that Ghostlin was mafia D2, and GreyICE knew that Lady Lambdadelta was mafia after that. GreyICE and LLD do use the UTTD messages to collaborate D4/D5ish in terms of who does what, but it's a pretty one-sided relationship since LLD knows that she's outted.

Setup Information:

Yeah, this sucked. I never figured that it'd make it to massclaim, and the gamebreaking of it at that point was pretty obvious. I talked with Andrius about changes to it as early as D3, IIRC, but did not actually step in to do anything until it was *actually* used to try to break the game. I guess I figured if I waited, maybe Seacore would've asked a non-breaking question like he did on D4. I like the idea of town being able to glean parts of the setup, but in future versions it would need to be a lot more limited -- maybe to specific pre-determined pieces of information or something.

Investment:

Oh, boy, 50% return was broken. Although it was intended that some people would do nothing but invest, it wasn't the intention that *so many* people would do this thing, and the investment returns just became obscene at the end -- Seacore wins for investing $514 D4, getting him $771 D5. Similarly, had Ghostlin (who invested most of his money D2), lived to D3 instead of being lynched, he would've had more than $600, more than double the next leading player. This needed to be much lower or removed entirely.

Advertising:

I'm still surprised this got so little used. Even when GreyICE pushed for things to be Advertised (because he'd get a free usage of that ability), it never really happened. This was put in so that the Town could play around the unpredictability of the marketplace, or that the mafia could drain Town's money by Advertising things like "Investigation Immunity" or "Ninja" and then forcing Town to counter-Advertise. Just mostly got ignored, though.

Moderation Error:

If you missed it, when Voidedmafia used Forensic Accountant on IceGuy, I had omitted that IceGuy won the Night-kill auction from D1. There was a second moderation error when GreyICE Gravedigger'ed IceGuy and I gave him one too many Roleblocker usages, but I didn't announce that one publicly (but you can see it in the Communist Saboteur QT).

Grey, you played outstandingly, you really did. There were a lot of points where Slaxx and I would consider you being mafia but your play was good enough to make us always list you as town and move on to looking elsewhere. Congrats on the win, especially after the position you were in upon replacing in.

Wasn't mine or Slaxxs best game but at the end of the day but I wouldn't consider it my worst either. There's not too much about my play that I regret, the only thing I wish I did more was insist upon no one voting and hammering more often though I'll learn from that I'm sure.

Magua, you are a troll and I never will join your games again. What sort of mod gives me a win condition that lets me only win if I am last alive with money when I get no income!

Wow, great play GreyIce! And Magua, thanks for this great set-up and modding, although I could only play a little part in it. I wasn't too big a fan of outing ourselves to the other team, but I'm too easily convinced

I do feel the lynch on me was a bit lucky, but I guess I could've participated more/better to prevent that.

The biggest gamble for me was day 2. MS had already claimed to bid on an auction he clearly couldn't have bid on, and thus was obviously scum. He also wanted a ninja for no comprehensible reason. Furthermore, I was pretty much at L-1, and if I wasn't lynched, was going to die.

The 1v1 with Ghostlin was my big gamble. I knew from the UTTD that the last will would toss it to RC/Voided, and that the cop was actually on WLC. With the cop NOT showing up on the scumbag, my claim of 'shenanigans' regarding the cop bid did make it look like scum 'sekret powahs,' especially since NO ONE SANE would claim to bid $97 on an auction that went for $95, scum or town. Claiming I didn't bid on the Ninja he bid on (He really did bid on it) made his play look even MORE skitzo, and helped sell the 'he didn't immediately counterclaim scum' insanity. I had to gamble Ghostlin would react exactly like scum, but he had no idea what was going on (since the mysterious scum power I claimed obviously didn't exist, so he was like 'waaaaaaaa'), and reacted exactly like caught scum.

Throw in me shipping 'all my money' to Voided, and I had my fingers crossed I'd move from day 2 as 'L-1, lets lynch him' to 'nigh-confirmed town.' Or, well, get lynched, but if I didn't do something dramatic that would happen ANYWAY. After that it was a matter of doing exactly what Ghostlin accused me of in the QT (bussing LLD without voting for her or trying to get her lynched in any strong way) and letting the town drag me to weird places.
