The way the posts keep pouring in already in pregame, this game seems destined to become a juggernaut of pages. I've read two pages, and I've seen some good ideas and bad ideas, some things I've wanted to comment on, and someone saying exactly what I wanted to a few posts later. I have my own thoughts about all this, but clearly I have to read first and then summarize just about everything. If all the good ideas are scattered in short posts all over the thread this is going to become a madhouse. We're going to have to agree on some form of centralized planning, or we're just going to get in each other's way. Posting all moves in public is only part of it, we're also going to have to cooperate if we want to put the people we want where we want them. The chit cost of moving other people heavily favors teamwork over trying to move yourself.

For starters, I think we need to agree on a clear format for posting moves. I already saw Fate posting a move to monastery - does he intend to spend two chits to move himself there? Why not have someone else move him for half the cost? What about insurance? I want to keep track of not only moves, but chit expenditure, and for that I will require accurate data.

Suggestion: every time you move yourself or anyone else, you do so by filling this form, posting it in thread and sending it to zoraster:

Fate don't you want to go QT / Rage with Reck & Elli?

7 people are accounted for by door / Villa / Rage rotation.

1 more each for security and move checker

5 for campfire
Which means 6 left. I guess 2-3 of those can go in tipping land but we have to be REALLY careful about that.
And we can use the war room too I suppose because we just plain have enough people to.
May as well toss an obvtown in the panic room as that can't hurt. And we lynch / chair

But yeah we have alot of people compared to the size of this place, which makes sense for D1.

I am good with Feysal's suggestion.
I am also good with Klazam to move checker.
Him nomming me-town for that makes him probtown in addition to his other stuff.

We should probably change players in the movechecker and the security rooms, though. I dont want the scum landing there and staying the whole game. I'm ok with Marble for the first shift in security.

I'm not in favor of putting people in tippy room. We have to leave some people in the nexus for D1.

I don't want anyone in the villa NOW. I want LB/myself/Andrius/whoever else in the Rageatorium. Reck is right in saying we have no particular reason to believe it's an all-town group. But when you take a group of people who can read each other very well, and let them aim doublevotes at each other, it tends to get business sorted out one way or the other pretty quickly.

We don't need to have Door Control before Villa. 3 people go in to the villa, one goes out to door control (I have a plan that should pretty much guarantee it's a townie - I don't want to get into details specifically, though I can say that if we could leave 'time capsules' with cryptography it would accomplish pretty much the same thing).

Potion Room and Tipping Point should be off limits because a.) Going for Potions leaves too much wiggle room for 'accidental' pileups at the Tipping Point and b.) I trust scum to have the coordination to get someone to Potions a hell of a lot more than I trust town.

In fact, as a general rule, the more complex a plan gets, the more likely it will only succeed with significant scum assistance, in which case we probably don't want it succeeding. I want LB and whoever they can read best (I don't believe I've seen Andrius as scum, so I don't know if he's always obvtown as town only, or just convincing no matter what) to saunter with me - not dash, saunter - leftwards. And I want anyone that is either default hard to read or looking scummy to stay on the Nexus for now and head for the fire on their last move. That's it.

I think LB and I should move each-other to Rageatorium. And Andrius and someone else should do the same. R2 or thereabouts we can get Fate/xRx/whoever those two can read well into the Rageatorium. Then we can do a little dance around door, rage, villa that is awesome and wonderful.

how the hell does a double vote help in reading each other. the villa WOULD help. the rageatorium is useless for that. seriously.

Hito- The door controller does not need to be town at all. In fact it would help if mafia is in there. We dont have to worry about replacing the DC if he/she dies, and we can lynch quickly if he/she doesnt listen to the town with opening/closing doors. I dont really care who we send there, but we should do it ASAP in my opnion.

I think we should suggest moving EVERYBODY out of the Nexus/Rageatorium/SecludedVilla/Door switch, then lock every door around that 4-room line. Why? then the scum can't kill me to force-replace the door switch operator!!

I am happy to spend my 3 early-move-chips to double move Maruchan to the villa. Somebody should do that, in any case.
I think we want to open / close a LOT of doors today and he should save his chips for that.
I'd be happy to be in the security room for shift #1.

Okay, here I go:

So this should put Maruchan into the Ragetorium fast and then send him to the villa uninsured.

I actually think we should do this with 2-3 more players to MAKE SURE scum can't screw up all of them, cause if I were scum I would definitely give interfering with door control a shot in this situation.

So maybe the butterfly neighborteam should all do this too? I think getting there one turn sooner matters because scum are probably going to get away with not preclaiming moves, allowing them to just sit in place and use chips to screw things up. Which makes whoever it was that wanted to sit at the nexus awhile probscum.
