Hihi. Glad to meet you all

I don't usually play open games, at all as I find most of the fun in figuring out a closed setup (although this particular open game does counter this disadvantage to some extent), but I was persuaded into this one, and the temptation to a game newly starting was too good to resist.
from monday my time allowance may drop a a little, but I have all week this week pretty much.

Hi SV; why are you playing in your Alt today? :?
If you'd rather I'd not reveal your main head though, that's fine with me :wink:

It would be so nice to VOTE: PinkFloyd
Shine On You Crazy Diamond

(no more pinkfloyd puns, I promise :P )

what makes you think our maverick friend conman is scum, hoppyfred, or are you just trying to get an RVS wagon going?

I'm not going to blindly sheep you anyways when i don't see why conboy is a greater RVS wagon than any other (and the pinkfloyd puns are irresistible as well).

@RedFF, post #22:
An RVS vote on a confirmed townie does nothing to get us out of RVS and into real scumhunting

@conman, post #21:
why did you feel the need to mention it was a random vote? Surely that's already assumed :?

@Pinkfloyd, post #27:
so what does this self-vote achieve? How does it help us to catch scum/get out of RVS? Who does it put pressure on?
As for the music question I'd be glad to answer but don't want to kill any momentum at this moment in time

If someone is put at L-2 during RVS, something is very off. Either the person who put you at L-2 is scum or something else...

so you voted for yourself rather than the person you suspect to be scum? :neutral:

game
, don't be such a sore loser. >_____>

Wouldn't suprise me if this post was actually completely true. If it is, you've ruined the whole game because... you're bitter that you're so terrible at scum? ... Seriously?

this isn't a scum post imho.
Only town can be this genuinely annoyed when they think a game is broken/spoiled. That's just my take anyways
In post 45, Johhog wrote:

Scumslip?

not really
it's assumed when you're outing scum buddies (or at least claiming to) that it's against the win con as you're either trolling your damaging your side's win con, neither of which are favourable to that alignment.

either way, pink's behaviour is odd....
not sure if scum or just town troll (I've seen more town trolls than scum trolls in my time. It seems more of an inherently (albeit anti-)town thing. Scum wouldn't gamble the game away so early methinks.) But I haven't seen much so far to persuade me to place my vote elsewhere, so I'll leave it on the questionable pink for now

Imho, anyone who isn't voting themselves shouldn't really be complaining about another wagon and the votes of others; at least they're voting (and thus not fencesitting, partaking in RVS, building momentum etc.)

you can't dismiss everything as wifom. This isn't a newbie game. Wifom isn't the holy grail of mafia anymore

it's still far more likely that it's a town thing and you have to asses the probability when you evaluate these instances
