“Here it is, sir” the mayor’s advisor said, presenting a small stack of papers, “The regional news.”

“Great!” said the mayor with glee, “I love reading the news!” He began to open the paper.

With a smile on his face, his eyes darted from headline to headline, until his face fell to a distraught frown when he saw one headline.

“What!” he exclaimed, reading again. “Mafia attacks Turroville? Town Population Decimated? Casualties numerous? AGGHHH!! They’re coming for us next!”

“Oh, relax. They did get rid of the problem, right?”

“Yeah, but there’s a rumor there are more mafia out there, planning similar attacks. WE’RE NEXT!!!”

“Seriously! We aren’t next. Go to bed, and we’ll see.”

And so they went to bed.

The next morning, the advisor slipped on his slippers and grabbed his coffee.

“Ah, mornings!” he said, as he opened the front door. Sitting there awaiting him was a large wooden box.

“Oooh! A package!” the advisor giggled to himself. He opened it.

There were two contents: the mayor’s bloodied body, and a card. Ignoring the former, the advisor grabbed the card.

“A card! Yay!”

He read it.

“Hmm, let’s see... ‘Dear Advisor, Enjoy. From, the Mafia.’ Oh boy! A present! From the...the...the MAFIA??”

Then he saw the body and ran off screaming. After sufficiently alarming everyone, he pointed out the box to the town.

People fret all day. The advisor, at sundown, finally decided to take control of the situation.

“Don’t worry folks,” he began, “just go about your nightly business. I’ll brainstorm a way to end this threat.”

Relieved, the townspeople headed to their houses. What would happen next?

9- Each night, there is a deadline. You must get your choice in before this deadline or no choice will be made.

The town quickly heads to the town square to see what the mayor's advisor thought up overnight. On the way there, they encounter a robot, with it's circuits ripped and burnt all over the place, and the chasis cut into four parts. Looks like some sort of robo-drawn & quartering but nonetheless he was The Killer Robot with (from left to right), a saw, shotgun, laser rifle, and grenade launcher/Daykill Vig. Rather long name. The robot was evidently wearing a nametag that read "

."

Also, you come across

's smouldering body, apparently struck many times over with lighting bolts. In his hands were a keg of beer and a medical bag. While that may sound like a malpractice suit waiting to happen, he was your Doctor.

You arrive at the town's podium and the mayor's advisor tells you all the plan.

"I've been looking in the Regional Records and I found a small summary of the problem in Turroville. Turns out, they actually resorted to mob justice to solve the problems. Which got me to thinking: why not? We're already in a pickle as is."

One person spoke up, "So, we vote on who to lynch each day?"

"Precisely. While you're out doing that, I'm going to alert the capital of Capitalismo. They seem to be the most at risk for mafia attacks with what with crime rates."

"Hey, look!" shouted another citizen. He was pointing at a small letter nailed to a tree, which nobody had noticed earlier. Actually, it wasn't even there earlier, but at any rate, it read:

"Dear Town,
It has come to my attention that you have decided to use a mob justice system to root out the wicked mafia. This is all well and good, yes, but please do not choose

. She's a good citizen who certainly wouldn't be behind such nefarious acts. Surely she's just an innocent, and I'm quite certain you'd all be very sorry if you lynched her. Plus, she's good friends with you all, no? So, in short, please do not lynch Pink Princess today.

's house, you know, the one that is a slightly blue-ish color with a small amount of peeling paint above the picture window which is shaped sort of like a fat oval. They started out by getting out of their limo and making sure everything was OK. The limo in question was black and there was a crunched potato chip in the back seat, next to a walkman and an empty soda can, which I believe to be Pepsi. He then walked over to the house, and he started out with his right foot, and on the way he stepped on the newspaper, which was from two days ago. The headline was about an unknown robber wearing a clown mask robbing the 411th national bank and stealing $500,000. Anyways, he walked over to the door and pulled out a small red container of gasoline, which, as you recall, is explosive. It dripped about three times on the front step and once on the welcome mat, which slightly smeared the bottom left of the 'E.' Then, they poured explosive gasoline all around the house, particularly near the oblong shaped puddle of water near the side of the house. Which, to my understanding of the properties of octane fuels would dilute it to some extent. Anyways, they then took out a matchbox; I believe it was from Chuck E. Cheese's and if I recall correctly one match had apparently already been used. He was standing slightly to the left of the garden hose, and was wearing a red shirt and a mask. His left shoelace was untied. So, anyways, he struck the match against the lower-left side of the matchbox, and then..."

Rather than hear this overly drawn-out tale of how Fritzler's house was burned down and he turned out to be the Buttoneer, an insane inventor townie, they dozed off. However, they awoke to... well, let's just say while they were dozing

After her death, they search her home. Disappointingly, nothing of value (or suspiciousness) was found. What a bummer.

"Well, let's clear the gallows," said TSS. He reached up to the noose when he stopped. "Did you hear something?"

"Yeah, sounds like a beeping noise," replies someone from the croud.

TSS then lifted DGb's shirt to discover a several packs of assorted explosives strapped to DGb's chest and a timer, currently at 0:02.

"Wonder what that means," thought TSS to himself.

Too late. A huge explosion later, TSS and DGb's body are no more. Growl in anger at DGb, who was Kamakazi and is now victorious because she was lynched.

On second thought, don't growl in anger, because DGb did you all a favor. TSS was actually Bledgeoning Bill, a member of the Mafia.

When no response came from Der Hammer, it became clear he was the second Duo Killer.

Der Hammer ran, with Primate, Oberon, and PBuG close behind. He ran into his home, and slammed the door closed. After locking it, he breathed a sigh of relief. He was safe. However, the others had become enraged at his cowardice.

Sure enough, Primate broke into the window. He attempted to dash on Der Hammer and beat him into submission. But Der Hammer was quick, and dashed out the back door to face PBuG (

) unholstering his pistol. PBug raised the pistol to Der Hammer's head.

Later that evening, Primate grabbed some pretzels and watched TV to try to get his mind off of the recent events. Provided Oberon had caught Der Hammer, there was only him, Oberon, and PBuG left. Primate decided that he'd get a good night's rest and then tomorrow journey off to Capitalismo and meet up with the mayor's advisor, tell him the mafia had been stopped, and live a happy life there.

PBuG, Primate thought, would probably head out with him to work on Capitalismo's police force. Oberon might even join the large law firm that was up there. Primate's thoughts were interupted by a knock on the door. He was greeted by Oberon.

"So," said Primate, "did you catch Der Hammer?"

"Yep," said Oberon, "he's dead."

"Um, then, did you investigate him?"

"Sure did," said Oberon, "he was the notorious second

Duo Killer

, with the ability to convince the town not to lynch people."

"Great!" said Primate. "Hey, do you want to join me tommorow? I'm moving to Capitalismo where I might be able to live a normal life despite all this."

"Perhaps," said Oberon, "they have a good law firm there. Speaking of which, can I use your phone? I have relatives in Capitalismo that I haven't spoken to in weeks."

"Sure, it's in the kitchen."

Oberon went into the kitchen, and Primate was about to consume a pretzel when there was another knock on the door. This one seemed rapid and urgent.

I wonder what's going on, Primate thought. He opened the door.

"Hello, operator?" said Oberon, "Yeah, connect me to Capitalismo. Long distance, I know." He then waited for the operator to connect him.

He then heard the knock at the door which Primate heard earlier. He began to think. "What? Hmmm..." he then immediately scowled. PBuG. Then he heard the phone connect. "Yes, yes, I got to go. It's urgent. Yes. Really? Ok. Yeah, they're in the third hangar. Ok, see you."

At the door was PBuG. He was bleeding all over the place and appeared to have crawled to the door.

"PBuG!" shouted Primate, "what on earth happened?" PBuG was visibly fading, and fast.

"Damn... it..." stuttered PBuG in his last breaths, "kill... him...." He then fell unconcious.

"Kill who?" asked Primate frantically, "Kill who? What do you mean?"

"I think he means me," said a voice. Primate turned to see two things: Oberon, and an M9 pointed right at his head. One second more, and Primate was gone as well.

Epilogue

Oberon packed his bags with some clothes and food. He was taking the long journey off to Helme's Yard, where he'd eventually meet up with some of the others who were part of the troupe. After all, it was pretty much the perfect excuse for such a dramatic stunt as this, the slaughter of an entire town. Eventually, his group would recieve world reknown, as fantastic individuals who could do anything they damn well wanted to.

In his walking away though, he noticed a medical tent on the edge of town that really shouldn't have been there. Inside was dried blood and a strange device called a Recesitator. According to the manual, it was capable of reviving someone who had been dead for less than a week (maybe longer). Using it, he revived fellow partner Themanhimself. But something in the tent attracted his attention. A journal. He read the open page:

"To RD,
I've already set out. If you're reading this, then hurry up and get moving. We need to hurry this up, as the timing between the first thing and the first death needs to be perfectly set up. You know what I mean. If you have no clue what I'm talking about, then stop reading, you worthless snoop."

Normally, nobody would have any idea what this meant. But Oberon's troupe was pretty informed about regional events, and knew who this was adressed to and what it meant.

"Competition," he muttered to himself. The troupe would have to be notified. If they were to achieve fame and notoriety, they'd have to pull off their biggest stunt yet. Because in the world of serial killing, the search for imfamy never ends.

Alright, you are Undergraduate Cop. You’re almost Graduated as a cop, but you’re got a final exam: someone’s smuggling cocaine, and you have to find that person for the agency. Once you do that, you’ll become an official cop. Each night, you must send in a person to search to see if they are smuggling cocaine. If you are successful, you’ll receive your degree and be able to go out investigating for real starting the next night, with guaranteed sanity. You win with the town.

As for your post restriction: you’re up so late tracking the smuggler, you can only post 5 times a day!

Mod Note: If Cocaine Smuggler dies by any means, the condition is automatically satisfied. Also, if Cocaine Smuggler is caught, he’s thrown in Rehab, meaning a new win condition will arise...

VisMaior - Drunkard Doc - Restricted Doc

You are Drunkard Doc. You are really alcoholic, and have to drink a lot every 24 hours. You’ve found that if you get wasted during the day, you’ll be able to protect at night without getting any cravings. Each day, you have to post ‘chugs beer’ in asterisks 25 or more times to get the protection that night. It must be in the exact format above, except that you should substitute the apostrophes for asterisks. To avoid choking on beer, there has to be one other player’s post in between any of your ‘chugs beer’ posts. Your post restriction is probably the worst in the game, and is coming up.

You get drunk as you drink more beer. After 4 beer chugging posts, you have to act a little woozy and stutter. After 4 more, you have to act even more woozy and stutter more. After 4 more, act completely woozy (perhaps making no sense) and so on. As a bonus, for you’ll note the restriction is 25 times. Hmmm, 25 players. Every time someone dies, one beer goes off your quota.

At night, in addition to your protection, also send in a person to search for. If that person is the Rehab Specialist, you’ll lose your post restriction! You win with the town.

Congratulations! You have the longest role name in the game! You are The Killer Robot. By sandwiching someone’s post (posting immediately before and after it), you can use your arsenal to kill them. This can be done twice a game, and on separate days. Beware: your hardware is very touchy, and you will use a kill upon sandwiching someone even if you didn’t want to. Be sure to PM me your notice when you sandwich someone so I can get right to daykilling them. You win with the town.

Your post restriction is to act like a robot in all posts (that means posting in caps too). Sample robot-ish post:

You are a Tactical Weapons Officer. Targeting things is pretty much all of your job. So each night, you have to target someone. That’s it! What this does though, is yet to be known (although you are not necessarily targeting for a weapon).

Your post restriction is to act like a soldier. I mean, you have superiors. Things like ‘sir yes sir’ are encouraged. Say ‘sir’ a lot. About thrice per post is a good benchmark.

Machiavellian-Mafia - El Replaco - Replacer

You are El Replaco! You’ll probably end up replacing someone at some point... you’ll find out who later. You win with the town.

As for your restriction, you must include at least 15 Spanish words (in context mind you) per post (if the post has less than 15 words, then all words). You may want to just translate the entire post if it’s particularly short. Simply search for ‘free web translators’ and you should be able to get a good translator online.

Der Hammer - Pretty Convincing Guy - Convincer

Your post restriction is that in every post, you have to throw some idea out there to the town as a whole. For example you could go: “I have an idea, let’s vote for the person who made the scummiest first post.” And by the way, you cannot throw out the idea of just voting for someone. That’s lame >_<!

Thedocsalive - Cocaine Smuggler - Townie

You’ve been smuggling cocaine! Oh no! You are a townie, and you win with the town. Keep in mind, though, that it may be unwise to claim, because the police do have people out looking for you, and you don’t want to get caught!

Your post restriction is that you have to act like you have a nervous tic and you have to stutter a lot, because you’re addicted to Cocaine. But there is hope. You can lose this restriction and addiction! Each night, select a player to search. If that person is the Rehab Specialist, you’ll lose the restriction. You win with the town.

Mod Note: If caught, he’s thrown in Rehab, and given a new role:

“You have been thrown in Rehab (jail) by the police. Now, you have two options. You can stay on the side of good, or get back at the police and become evil. It’s your choice, and there is no ‘bad choice’. Please PM me with your choice soon.

If good:

“You’ve decided to stay good! Each game night, send a PM to the mod. If you target the Rehab Specialist, you’ll finish your rehab and will be allowed to rejoin the town. If the Rehab specialist dies, you’ll have to wait a full 5 days to get out. You still win with the town.”

If bad:

“You’ve decided to become evil! You’ve concluded that if you help scum, they’ll help you escape Rehab once they’ve taken over the town. Each night, choose a player. Their full role PM will be sent to the scum from “Your Benefactor.” If the mafia wins, you win.”

DrippingGoofball - Kamakazi - Kamakazi

Haha! Your role name is the same as your flavor name! HAHAHAHA!! Sorry. You’re the Kamakazi. Your goal is to get lynched, in which case you’ll explode and kill whoever placed the last vote on you, which is often called the ‘hammah’ vote. You don’t have a post restriction, although it’s restriction enough trying to get lynched! If you die to a night or day kill, you lose. Also, you get auto-protection night 1 so you don’t die without a chance to do anything.

Rosso Carne - Rehab Guy - Survivalist Townie

You are Rehab Guy. You are a rehabilitation specialist, if it matters. You’re pretty much a townie. You win by surviving to the finish, not with the town.

Your post restriction is to beg not to die in every post. Examples are “I hope I don’t get lynched!” or “Oh, please God, don’t let me die tonight!”

armlx - Vendetta Guy - Retaliatory Vig

You are Vendetta Guy, and you’re going to hate your post restriction. Every day, you have to have a Vendetta against whoever first voted you that day. You must keep your vote on them all day, and argue (to some realistic extent- not just intentionally retarded craplogic) against them at least 2 sentences per post worth.

You’re going to love your role ability though. If some anti-town moron shows up to kill you, you’ll also kill them in retaliation. It won’t save you, but it will kill a bad guy, and since you win with the town, it’ll also help your odds of winning.

Sorry. Anyways, because most of the time you’re off looking at pointless stuff, you must have 4 posts by other people in between any of your posts. Each post must follow a special format. You have to start with a game-related post, then, about halfway or so through, cut yourself off and have three sentences (good sized ones) about random nonsense. Then, after that, correct yourself and resume the sentence. Here’s a good EXAMPLE POST. “I think Bob is scummy because he used craplogic, in post- Hey! I can do a backflip! Watch me do a backflip! Isn’t this amazing? Wait, sorry, where was I? Oh right, as I was saying, he used craplogic in post 326.”

Ubertimmy - The Stalker - Spy

You are the Stalker! You always seem to go around stalking people. You’ve used this to your advantage by following people at night to discover the target of their night actions. You win with the town.

This game was, to say the least, interesting. The first oddity was TMH's little claim on day 1. At the time I was nearly sure this would condemn partner draygn_mage. However, it seems most of the town actually took this as a sign of DK#2's innocence.

Vaughn didn't put much effort into getting himself lynched (going for the lurking/acting dumb approach i think). Then DGb replaced and got himself lynched when Twomz was 1 vote away from death. Impressive, to say the least.

Oddly enough, the mafia died to a lot of weird roles: Kamakazi, and Vendetta guy. It's particularly surprising how the last two scum got wiped out it one night like that too.

Finally, I highly doubted DK#2's ability would ever be useful, and how wrong I was. Looks like it won him the game!

Anyways, the Post Restriction Mafia "Trilogy" will finally be wrapped up with PRMIII, where the storyline will be officially wrapped up. It should be taking sign-ups soon, so if you liked this game, keep an eye out for it.
