Obviously, as I have already stated, the champion shall always advance to the next round (unless they choose to retire, of course). And, obviously, if there are four people on the waiting list, they shall fill the other four slots. But if there should be empty slots, it might be better to avoid waiting by letting the runners-up fill the gaps. Thus, if there are only two new players, the top three continue to the next game.
