Xalxe and CuddlyCaucasian apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we have added an additional rule.

To add extra incentive for teams to push themselves harder, after a leg is completed, the team that placed in 1st on that leg will be given 10 total points to distribute freely between the stats of both players on the team.

Out of the total 600 points possible for a team, 10 is only an added ~1.667%, so they shouldn't do

too

much unless someone wins every single leg; they're mainly just an added bonus that could help someone out in a very close situation.

EDIT: Hell, if someone wins the first 10 legs, there was probably little chance of anyone beating them in the last leg in the first place.

Usually (and from now on) start times are calculated so that there is half an hour between the first and last player. We didn't use that method in the times for Leg 3 because of the planned flight delay, and because there was a great deal of debate over what times the 2nd-5th teams actually arrived at the Pit Stop. Not to mention Leg 3 itself was more of an equalizer than any other leg. I am sorry it look your giant lead away, though.

And I've heard a lot about people communicating during legs as well. Generally speaking, players should only communicate about tasks in chatzys or if they are currently at the same task. Players shouldn't be sharing information that wouldn't be known to them in a real-world setting. I'd prefer it if people wouldn't ask other people where they are on Skype/AIM, since that same question can be answered easily by either of the mods, and all you really need to know is whether they're at the same task as you or not. If they're at the same task, then wooo you can talk! And if you're not, then no damage is done, you just know they're somewhere that isn't where you are.

EDIT: tl;dr use common sense and don't undermine unspoken rules

That's basically why I don't want to give time credits, as stupid as the train was, it wasn't designed to benefit or hurt any specific teams, and it was designed before teams were even selected for the race; also it'd be basically rewriting the whole leg, and nullifying the existence of the U-Turn altogether, unless I give xof 1st and let her choose a team to basically handicap their money and time, and this is after final results are already known.

Basically it would create way too many "What If"s for this to be enjoyable for anyone :/

Maybe they got fucked over by a twist, or maybe their ally was eliminated because of a surprise elimination. Whatever the situation, they're pissed, and they're pissed at you. This is serious business. Do not respond with the following:

If necessary, contact a neutral third-party and ask them to offer their opinion. First of all, thanks so much to CC for being generally awesome, running two legs on his own and just kicking major ass. Everyone go play Pokeclash, it's gonna be a blast. (I had a dream the other night that it went into signups and I was disappointed when I woke up)

But I agree with everything Xalxe said, basically. This game was so much fun to mod, and everyone made it really fun to be a part of. It hurt the pace of it with delays and not-so-smart decisions on our part, but my opinion is that when things worked in this game they

really

worked, and if we ever do a Season 2, we'll definitely be capitalizing on those strong points and fixing the weak ones.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game, Jal, I really appreciate everyone sticking with it through all of the delays and us making dumb decisions. <3 But I agree with your complaint; I think as the game went on, we became more lenient about that kind of thing, at first because people kept asking, but as time went on we just worried less about those details, which I really wish we hadn't. But as Xalxe said, it would definitely be a much tighter ship if we ever ran another season. ^_^ and once again, thank you everyone for playing, everyone was more cooperative and fun to mod than I could ever ask for. <3
