Okay, let's try this again. I believe DP started a thread like this just before the last crash, so we haven't seen that many pictures yet.

Mafiascum, show yourselves (again) :).

Here are two pics of my friends and me in London (In the first pic, I'm the one on the right).

::high-fives rite::

At the moment, they're a bit shorter than on the pics. But they're still there (and have been since I was 16).

I love the red in your hair, SaberKitty. I dyed mine red too three weeks ago (well, partially anyway ;)). When my friends put the holiday pics online, I'll post it here.

I see you're standing in front of a dart board, mikehart. And the person on the left of you is holding three darts, right? Do you have a board in the living room?

I once put a dart board in my room. But it was inflatable, so yeah, that didn't work ;).

That you should really post your face next time ;)?

I noticed Mystery Rummy 1: Jack the Ripper. Is that any fun to play? I've never heard of it.

I like that first pic, PopsicleStix :).

One thing: If you post pics, could you adjust your picture size to say 600x400? This way the thread won't get all messed up.

Hey, I missed that video before. Nice house, mith!!!

I still think it's weird that in the USA all the front doors lead directly to the living room. That's something I hadn't seen before. Over here, you normally enter a hall first, with another door leading to the living room.

btw, has anyone ever told you that you sound a bit like Tom Green ;)?

Here are some pics taken while we were in Berlin last week.

Did you ever wonder what was going on when a police car came by?

Image

Breakfast at the hostel every morning.

Image

All posing with angry beavers on our heads :)

Image

Me at the exit of the museum at Checkpoint Charly. Behind me a piece of the Berlin Wall.

Image

And for the car lovers amongst us, an actual prototype of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4

I didn't actually shave it with a razor, I used a trimmer (I'm not sure if that's the right word). Anyway, I went to my barber last saturday to tidy things up a bit, but it's still pretty short. If I have my camera here, I'll take a pic.

And if there aren't any other pics around, blame glpics :P.

Phoebus wrote:What are all those books and discs?
Most books I can tell you from looking at the pic:

On top:

Stewart Evans, Keith Skinner - The Ultimate Jack the Ripper Sourcebook

Top shelf above tv (pockets):

Frank Herbert - Dune
Lincoln, Baigent, Leigh - Holy Blood, Holy Grail
Paul Chistopher - Michelangelo's Notebook
Gregg Looms - The Pegasus Secret

Carole Nelson Douglas - Chapel Noir
Carole Nelson Douglas - Castle Rouge

Terry Pratchett - Disc World book 1
Terry Pratchett - Disc World book 2
Allan Folsom - The Day After Tomorrow

Bottom shelf above tv (hardcovers):

John Connolly - The Black Angel
Steve Alten - The Loch
Steve Berry - The Third Secret

Ian Caldwell, Dustin Thomason - The Rule of Four
Umberto Eco - Baudolino
Peter Quint - Hour of The Cat

The contents of the cupboard on the left of the tv I do not know completely. Basically the first shelf is all Playstation games and the second one is a bunch of books from Umberto Eco, Dan Brown, some about the grail and writing plots.

But more importantly, the good luck charm you sent me is standing on the left of my alarm clock!

Well, I guess you can place the book somewhere between Foucault's Pendulum and The Island of the Day Before. The way the man describes things is still beyond me. It takes place somewhere in the 12th century, accounting for a lot of historical facts. But nearing the end those have to make place for mythological ones. I think he tried to put too many subjects into this book and didn't know where to go from there. Nonetheless, I still found it an interesting read.

If you want to read another
brilliant
book by Eco, try The Name of the Rose!!
