I understand in principle that you sometimes have to lynch strong players [and I guess you're right that this game is basically just strong players].
I think I was realistically more frazzled about the assertion that not voting right away is inherently scummy because I don't like being told I'm scummy! But I should probably learn to deal with being scumread more in general so!

The main issue I'm having here is on whether I should tell you or not.
Because while telling you is technically pro-town...it also ruins the mood, kills the fun, and is an actual ~town~ thing to do and thus not the TROLL thing to do.

How exactly do you keep this up?

It honestly feels pretty exhausting for me to do. Like, I feel like I should be replying to more stuff with I dunno, a gif or something, spamming youtube videos, the like, but nothing is easily coming to mind.

I feel like the "sit back and laugh" part is easy enough, but the continuous posting part is harder. How do you pull it off in games?

Alright let me clarify some DEFCON history and some things about me.

In DEFCON 3.0 I was a Euroscum who gained town leverage by being the person to crack the code that the scum were using. My code.

In essence, every time Eavsedropper got soething he shipped it to me, I solved it and helped the town.

Eventually, people started asking for me to show my work.

I was too busy with real life, couldn't do it in time, and got nuked.

Why do I want the ability?

Despite the fact that last time I was faking it, I'm still a very good codebreaker and I think I can help the town significantly by having that role.

It just strikes me that this game your entrance was fairly nonchalant about Total War being obviously the best choice so I definitely wanted the fact that you previously thought otherwise addressed. It's one of those questions I like answered because I'm extrapolating your alignment from it now, but because there's the possibility I might extrapolate your alignment from your response itself.

I think "it's been over 5 years my stance has changed" is a perfectly acceptable response. Kind of what I expected and doesn't tell me much, but it didn't hurt to press you on it on the off chance you had more to say.

Well the only reference I have on hand for what I'm doing is Left 4 Dead mafia. Which is pretty common knowledge to...basically this entire playerlist. There's not much to talk about in that regard. I have trolled as scum. As far as I can remember (could be mistaken), I have not trolled as town. It's a pretty simple formula there, no?

Bit of a tangent here, but fully digressing, I typically don't really consider SKs to be scum anyway.
