I have only read the first post once but it seems like total war isn't the best. It's more fun, but night actions + getting actual gameplay to then nuke based on seems better. Convince me I guess.

So I thought Cephrir the first one to do the "guys stop being hyped up about total war lets think logically" and I generally think the first one to do that is town. But actually Zito did that.

Now his post is looking bad cuz it looks like makes him look like he's contributing without actually pointing having new insight or a fresh idea.

You're correct - we go to DEFCON 4 either way.
It was more of a, since Total War is not unanimous we'll be not Total War-ing, and thus will move on to DEFCON 4 when everyone has checked in.
