Because newbies are lynch-bait. Veteran players think they know exactly when another vet is scum and think they always have them pegged. So when wagon gets started on a newbie player no one can be blamed for not knowing they were not scum because of this crappy play style.

Hence why I think SAD is scum trying to get me lynched for crappy reasoning.

What do you think about the 9ish others that piled on with no justification?

And what are your reads beyond SAD in general?

Nahdia is smart.
I think as scum she would find it pretty easy to generate convincingly earnest content based around being vocal over her intent to get counterintelligence.

While I think all of these players have a nonzero percent chance of flipping scum (except maybe mastina) I think you're casting a really broad stroke over all the universal nuke targets which seems like a really easy stance to hold

In terms of why Nahdia is in the pile of death, it's mostly because she feels like a fake version of herself.
Last game I played with disengaged Nahdia as town, I just.. felt like she was town. It was a situation in which in my mind, scum was practically between her and another player and it wasn't making sense because she felt town in spite of her being disengaged in general.
I have none of those vibes from any of her play when she hasn't been being defeatist this game.

Yeah, I deliberately classified it as anti-town rather than scummy for that reason. I also deliberately asked for a nuke rather than a lynch for that reason. There's a fair shot Mastina is town; there's a 100% shot that Mastina is hurting the town.

More gut than meta.
Not really expecting anyone to sheep me on it, or I would be trying to throw something together that would be more convincing.
But I do think it would be trivial for scumNahdia to coast on
a) defeatism
b) counterintelligence discussion
for at least a while without anyone being able to put anything substantive against her in terms of her trying to coast out the earlygame.
