Couple notes of housekeeping:

I will be adding brief flavor to night action results and the 'Action Received' PMs so do not be alarmed if your Action Received PM was edited.

This night phase will go full time since we have been going strong for two weeks. However, in future nights I will allow Accelerated Night Phases if everyone agrees via PM. All of you trigger-happy people might rejoice at an earlier DEFCON 1.

Lastly, for all players deploying a Missile Silo, you will default to NUCLEAR LAUNCH MODE every night unless you specify otherwise.

"No, wait. You need to know that the Russian bomber fleet over Europe has not changed course. The Pacific is still crawling with the Russian flotilla. Andrius, this could get bad."
"Well, we prepared for this. The Task Force will be assembling any minute."
"Good. I'm taking the nation down to DEFCON 2 in response to the undeterred Russian advance. This could get ugly."
"Affirmative. I'll inform the fleet and advise the Task Force."

The old general had seen his fair share of combat. The war against the Europeans cost the nation many of its top leaders, and those who survived were often affected. He no longer commanded rooms with a blazing fury and brute force. He had responsibilities now.


When General Fate arrived at his office at 06:00 hours, he did not notice the fresh coffee awaiting him or the mountain of emails. He did not notice the new office plant in the corridor or the new hair style of his cheery secretary.

A block of C4 detonated as he opened his office door, ending his lengthy career as a loyal American.
